Vandana did my hair and makeup for my wedding ceremony and reception and I’ve never felt more like a princess in my whole life. Vandana was god sent. For someone who was looking into doing her own makeup for her wedding and thought makeup artists always end up doing cakey makeup to make it last all day - Vandana was absolutely god sent for me. Did 2 makeup trial sessions for my photo shoots with her, and every single time she listened to what I wanted and gave it her best. I was in NYC for a wedding and needed to find someone to do my hair and makeup near my son’s apartment. I found GlamWithGlee online and her reviews were good. Vandana was my HMUA for my engagement shoot and two main wedding events. She was extremely professional, skilled, and very understanding! She really listened to what I wanted for each of the looks and incorporated the feedback. My mom and sister also loved their hair and makeup.

I'm not even sure where to start with Vandana! She absolutely exceeded expectations with my hair, makeup, and draping for a pre-wedding event. As someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup, I was nervous about how I would look. Vandana definitely calmed my nerves - she listened to my concerns and my inspiration for my look and delivered perfection! Everyone absolutely loved my hair, makeup, and draping and kept telling me throughout the night. It made me feel really special and Vandana was a big part of that. At the end of the night my makeup and hair still looked amazing and I was sad to have to have to remove it.

Very organized and professional. She works very well under pressure and allots a perfect amount of time for each of her sessions so she isn't rushing, she has very good time management. I struggle with pretty bad hormonal acne, and ofcourse the week of my wedding was the worst. Vandana was able to transform me into the most beautiful bride. She paid careful attention to detail and also asked about my skin concerns prior to starting and knew exactly how to make me up! You wouldn't have ever been able to tell my struggle with my skin! I have worked with a few makeup artists in the past, but she has been the one MUA I have felt 100% confident in about my makeup! Professional wedding makeup vs regular daily makeup is a LOT different, and requires many steps-Vandana did her magic and the best part of all, it didn't even feel super heavy on my face, the products she uses are very high quality and it shows, and you can tell when you're wearing it and you can tell she knows how to USE those products correctly. Very organized and we started on time. The makeup and hairstyle for my wedding was absolutely stunning! Just the way I wanted. The lipstick stayed on till the end of the day which was amazing. The lashes also were intact. Loved the whole wedding day look from high neat bun to the lashes to lipstick which all stood out.
Highly recommended if you want your makeup and hairstyle to last for the event.

Vandana/GlamwithGlee is the best makeup artist you can find! I found her Fall of 2020 and have been working with her ever since. She was covid cautious and went out of her way to ensure safety measures as well as accommodating my busy schedule! Her technique in both hair and makeup is exquisite! It’s pretty difficult for me to find makeup artists with locations in Midtown with reasonable pricing and meets my needs in makeup looks, she checks all of my boxes! In fact, I have gone to her for makeup looks for my dance video shoots over 5-8 times now! I am so grateful I have found her. Her level of detail and precision is out of this world. She was amazing! Very professional and polite. All her tools were clean & sanitized before I arrived so we got right into it. Also the products that she used were very high quality & she didn't even charge extra for the lashes!
