Lori is an amazing makeup artist! She arrived on time, got background for the makeup occasion, and got it done PERFECTLY within the tight time. She knew exactly how to apply the makeup for a photoshoot and thanks to her the photos came out perfectly! I'm so happy with her makeup - thank you Lori! Great first experience with Glamsquad.

I hired the team at Glamsquad to do my hair and make up for an event. The team was extremely sweet, professional and friendly. The customer service is always amazing and responsive.

What a great experience! Tawnie was on time (actually she was early) and listened to my concerns regarding my very sensitive skin and used products that worked for me. She was extremely professional and great to work with! I would highly recommend her any time!

First time ever using Glamsquad and it was fantastic! The online service was super easy to use from booking to making last minute changes. Our make-up artists, Deidra and Emelie, arrived a few minutes early to our hotel, allowing us to have more time to share the details of what we were looking for in our make up that evening. They were just amazing and so fun and did a fabulous job. Will definitely use Glamsquad again in the future and hope to get the same artists. Thanks again!

Tried to message you directly to see if this was a mistake because seems odd to draw an arbitrary line in what is still north Brooklyn…. And a neighborhood that is 25 minutes away (by train) from Manhattan but no contact /support info on your site.

So far I had my wedding make up and hair trials and everything was wonderful! The artists were fun but also so professional. They were both patient will my requests and we’re very open to making any changes if I wanted them. I felt so comfortable during the trials and with the artists, so I’m very glad I’ll have them at my wedding day too to create the great work they did again.

Wow just wow! My make up artist was amazing, I really recommend this service, they come to your door and you feel like a star. Next time I will add the hair stylist service.the prices are in range with NYC and the fact that they come to you, I would say at the end is cheaper.
My make up lasted for all night and I was sad to remove it at the end of the night! Thank you.

This is the best service. It makes life so easy. Would use it in every city if I could. Sometimes they have scheduling snafus but normally they help you work it out and adjust for the trouble. The makeup artists and hair stylists are always very good at what they do.

Quintana provided one of the best pedicures I ever had! She was progression, thorough and her quality and attention to detail was outstanding

I’ve used the GlamSqad app for years. Even in different cities. It’s very convenient and reliable. I had Blanche come do my make up for New Year’s Eve recently. I provided her with a picture and she gave me the look that I wanted for our event. I felt totally pampered and glamorous! Blanche was on time and so nice. 5 Star!

Glam Squad is a terrific service. I scheduled an appointment for an updo for a conference I was attending out of town. The stylist came to my hotel room - she was friendly and professional and did a great job. So convenient!

This is a great company for a makeover for an event, but it really depends on the individual doing the makeup and hair. I've always had great hairstylists and I've used this company three times for hair and makeup now, but the makeup really and truly depends on who is doing it and what look you ask for. Be specific and have photos on hand of what you'd like. And if you are not happy with the result, don't be afraid to let your makeup artist know. The first time I used Glamsquad, I had a great makeup artist. I think her name was Aly B.but I'm not sure. The second time was for my wedding reception and the artist did an okay job. The last time was for school photos and I was a bit disappointed, especially with the eyes, but it came out okay in the end. I highly recommend Glamsquad for hair and makeup though because I cannot do this on my own. I would rather pay for the service and they come right to you regardless of where you are.

I used Glamsquad for the first time for my friend’s wedding in NY. Admittedly I was a bit nervous given that it was my first time. However, my experience far surpassed my expectations. Eleanor did a beautiful low loose bun for me where she followed my requests as well as her expertise, and Cesar did an incredible smokey eye and face contour for my makeup which was probably one of my favorites thus far. Both were very professional, clean, and personably. +

This review is for the customer service of the company, not the stylists who performed the services. The makeup and hair people I have had each deserve 5 stars - professional and skilled at their jobs. Glamsquad as a company on the other hand disappointed. I booked services for 2 people (myself and my mother) through their app. I specifically chose to have one hair person and one makeup person for the two of us back to back as it seemed excessive to have 4 separate people come. The app must have glitched because when the stylists arrived they said they only had one person booked on their end. The stylist even said that this had happened to him before with other clients having the same issue with the app. Trying to get a hold of someone was nearly impossible and took almost an hour. The customer service employee I spoke to was unforgiving and blamed the situation on me - despite repeatedly explaining to her the concern with the app. We ended up only having one person's hair done because of how long it took to get ahold of anyone and our need to leave for a wedding. They gave me a $30 off service which was appreciated but did not make up for the horrible situation.

I was in New York for a family wedding and found this website that had everything I was looking for. Our group made reservations for hair and makeup. I had 2 people working on me at the same time which was quite disturbing. I had to take the blow dryer from the hair stylist and guided the make up person on how to apply my make up. Overall, I was so upset with both services and will never use them again. I had limited choices to use this company since we do not live in this city.

Riguel did a wonderful job on my makeup! I feel that she went above and beyond to accommodate my chosen style and color palate, and I highly recommend her to anyone!

I had a blow out & styling for a wedding. Diana was excellent! She showed up on time & was so organized. She was very professional & made sure she told me everything she was going to do. My hair looked amazing & shiny.
I never had to leave my home & from start to finish took less than an hour. I already scheduled my next appointment because I love my new look. I decided that I don’t need a special occasion to get my hair done. Thank you, Diana. Loved everything about my blow out.

I am SO HAPPY I hired Glamsquad for my wedding. They came and flawlessly executed 4 blowouts, 4 makeups, 1 updo, and 1 special occasion hair in 2 hours. Eleanor, Stephanie, Kristen, Marisa, Kelli and Mariel were all so fun to hang out with and so professional. I will definitely be hiring Glamsquad for my special events when available…I just wish they were in Denver!

I reserved 5 makeup and lashes, 4 blowouts, and an updo for a wedding my family was attending. We were staying at a hotel and put this info on the reservation. My daughter, who had the updo, showed the stylist pictures of what she wanted, nothing too fancy. What she got was nothing at all like that. Her brother's comment when he saw her was "You look like you partied hard, went to bed, and just woke up. " (They did offer to refund her updo cost when I sent pictures.) One of the makeup artists just didn't show up. None of the makeup artists had any sort of lighting and kept commenting on how bad the hotel lighting was. Most of us redid or added to our makeup after the people left. THEN, I was overcharged by about $200. It has been two weeks and I am still waiting for a refund. They wait 3-4 days between communications. We have had hair and makeup done for weddings in the past, but this was, by far, the worst experience.

It was my first time using Glamsquad and I will definitely be using again! Brandon W.and Nicole L.did an absolutely fantastic job on my hair and makeup. They were both so kind and professional. They arrived on time and finished ahead of schedule with exactly the look I was looking for…even better than what I was expecting! It is so nice having 2 professionals come to you. I highly recommend!

They are very professional and on time. It is such a luxury to have a professional stylist show up at your home or hotel to help get your hair ready for an event or simply work/zoom ready. Great value as well.

Overall, we had an amazing experience. This was the first time using glamsquad. I used glamsquad for a wedding, and we are 3 glamsquad make up artist come for 3 people. They were on time, covid safe, and did an amazing job. We all loved our make up! Could not have been happier with this experience.

Received a call that one of two makeup services I booked has to be canceled because the artist had an emergency and they were unable to find a replacement. I had a somewhat last minute bridal event so I decided to cancel and take all of my business elsewhere.

My appointment was cancelled with less than 24 hours of notice with no alternate options, compensation, or assistance

Don’t rely on glam squad I booked an appointment 3 weeks in advance for an event and they cancelled on me two hours before!

Never use Loretta or Mathew!

I had not one but TWO people from Glam Squad cancel my appointment after walking into my apartment and seeing that I had a dog. My profile clearly states “DOG IN HOME”. I wasted two hours of my life and needless to say, did not get my hair done. On top of it - the first one, Mathew, told me to go F myself when I told him I wouldn’t not lock up my dog.

The glamsquad was AMAZING. Nick and Dilenia did my wedding day hair and makeup, as well as my trial in NYC and I cannot say enough about the both of them. They are professional, prompt, and passionate but SO fun! They made the getting ready part of my wedding day so enjoyable and something I will never forget. The both of them were able to bring to life my vision for my hair and makeup and make my mother and sister look phenomenal as well. Fazia and Jessica were also part of the team in getting my bridesmaids together and were AMAZING. I will forever recommend the glamsquad to anyone looking for amazing wedding day hair and makeup!

Just booked a gel mani pedi service which totaled to $200 and change. The other reviewer here is right! Looks like they picked the “technician” off the street. She was rough and left me with lots of small cuts and to top it off the gel mani was not smooth. What a waste of time and money! Makes me lose faith in booking services online specially if you can’t pick who you want to service you. They just give you some random person. Plus her tools didn’t look sanitized to me. Ugh

I booked glamsquad to do my hair and makeup for my elopement in NYC. Due to the current situation with covid, my appointment was canceled. Totally fine and understandable. However, I have been trying to contact them for 2 months now, regarding my refund and each email I send, I get no reply. I send me own emails and reply to the marketing emails I also receive from them. Their customer service is appalling.

Wow! I used Glamsquad for the first time to get ready for an event tonight. Shanaya is a master! She asked me what I was wearing and came up with a bronze eye that is just perfect. She also worked really fast. That combined with not having to travel to the salon saved me hours. I am a bit mad that I didn't use them sooner. Five stars Glamsquad.really well done.

Very disappointing.
No show. No calls/ texts. When I called the customer service number, it was just the machine.

Said they were en route but ended up arriving so late that I had to blow dry my hair minutes before leaving for my own baby shower. Would NOT choose them for any time you need someone to reliably arrive. 2/2 times this has happened.

Their website has horrible service, payments won’t go through, I don’t understand since their service is all about efficiency and less time consuming.

They screwed up big time, didn't seem to care on the phone, but in the end they did come through with someone.after a stroke and a heart attack. Be sure you INSIST that their makeup person not bail or cancel. Young people have no idea how much damage a simple bail can do. It can destroy an evening. In advance, call them on their youth and demand they not screw up. If this prevents someone else from going through what I went through, then great.
