Glamour Nails

I went there to get gel and the nails fell off a week later. 65 for gel 10 dollar tip. They alllwer me to come back and get.a fresh set. I gave another tip of $15 because she did redo the whole Set five days later, my nails are falling off again.

Have come here on and off for years but today concludes the last time. Two weeks prior, I was rushed and they cut my cuticles until I bled on 3 fingers. I didn’t say anything and no one offered a discount. I figured it was a one off and booked with someone different this time. Once again I was rushed and I don’t know what she did to my pinky but it hurts and is bleeding. Upon checking out, I asked if a discount was possible due to the circumstances. Never says anything to me other than my sister not tipping and charges me accordingly - $153.60. I do the math - two pedicures $29, UV gel wrap $64, $5 for powder removal, $10 for cat eye design - totaling to $137. To make matters worst, I see now that they’re open until 8 and we were rushed out by 7: 30.

TODAYS EXPERIENCE WAS THE ABSOLUTE WORSE! I HAD BOOKED AN APPOINTMENT WITH DEBBIE FOR MY MOM TO GET A PEDICURE DONE… WHEN WE GET THERE DEBBY STARTED TO HAVE A NASTY ATTITUDE ALMOST CRYING TO THE RECEPTIONIST, WE DID NOT NEED TO UNDERSTAND WHAT SHE WAS SAYING WHEN HER FACIAL EXPRESSIONS WERE TELLING US EVERYTHING! JUST HORRIBLE

Very disappointed never experienced very bad gel manicure like this time which didn’t last me one week and had to go again after three days to fix these 4 nails that were peeled the same night literally!

This salon is just different than all other ones on staten island. Everyone works to make sure you’re comfortable and happy. They are all so pleasant and my nails came out so good. Definitely my go-to nail salon now!

This was my first time visiting this salon. The ambience is nice and the decor was modern and chic! Thanks Queenie for doing my nails! She was very meticulous and professional! I'm very pleased with what she has done. This will definitely be my go-to nail salon from now on!

Disappointed! I came for pedicure.for first time there Massage was 3 minutes, cold water. I will never go back there again.

I went in yesterday to get my nails done. I had a stiletto nails and I wanted to remove it and replace them with new set of tips. The place was crowded upon walking in and I did get some stare from everyone which made me feel uncomfortable. It felt small and cramped but the decor was glam. First I asked for french nails with some sort of an art on two of my nails. I asked the girl upfront for some inspiration and she told me to check their instagram which I did. I found a marble looking design and went for that design. My tech was Aida. She was very patient and did my nails for about an hour and a half. She did mention it will be expensive because of the design and the products they’ve used (gel). So in my head I was ready to pay between 80-100 including tip. Upon checking out, the lady upfront told me it was 125 and I’ve already tipped my technician which I believed she deserved. I was just a bit surprised cause I never paid that much for a manicure only. The most I spent for a mani and spa pedicure was about 110. I just wish they are more transparent with their prices so there’s no surprises. I was there for almost two hours and none of them said anything about how much it will be. I’m leaving this review hoping it will help new clients to be aware of their pricing/services. My nails came out ok. I don’t think it’s worth $145 in my opinion but it’s not bad at all. I’m giving them 3 stars because I think they can do better to improve their way of conducting business. Will I come back? It’s a maybe. I would see Aida again but I don’t know if I can afford it every month.

It has been 2 days and my right thumb finger chipped yesterday: (. So bummed cause I work during their operating hours and I can't get it fixed.

Mention the tech who did my nails, but she did it super quick and while they came out okay, the gel looks uneven (thicker on some ends of my nails and thinner on other ends). I didn’t complain. But then I went on to watch her finish my service, mop the floor of the salon (while picking things off the floor) all with the SAME pair of gloves. She went on to the next client with the SAME pair of gloves. Not sure if this is happening with the other techs. So no thanks.will not be coming here again.

Place seemed nice and told me they could put gel over my existing acrylic set, and it chipped in less than 4 days on two separate nails

This place was so nice so clean so proffesional, the girl at the front desk helped me figure out my design, my color, helped me match colors ect. So clean and professional. They are in no rush and they care ab your nails. I have anxiety telling them to fix things or that I smudged a nail but they are very nice there. 100/10

Shirley is the best. I have been getting my nails done by her for several years now. Light Concept permanent French. Perfect every time. The girls are all so nice.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but I thought it was extremely necessary. I’ve been going to glamour nails for about six months now and queenie does my nails and she is absolutely fantastic! Not only is she fantastic but the Percision she puts into my nails is true quality!

I got a pedicure. The lady was ripping my cuticle on my big toe aggressively now my big toe is throbbing, red, painful and swollen. I’ve been going here for years. My toe is in extreme pain and is blown up throbbing like crazy. SO DONE WITH THIS PLACE. I will NOT be returning.

Absolutely love my manicure! I got what I asked for- simplicity. Everyone was pleasant, made me feel comfortable, staff very nice and Shirley did a beautiful job on my nails. Looking forward to my next appointment

Very clean salon, and everyone is so nice! The managers know who all their customers are, which makes it such a nice and personal experience. If you love nail art, ask for Kana!

Amazing nail techs and beautiful place. Only thing I'd complain about is that they don't have massage chairs for pedicures.

Hands down, best nail salon on the island! I’ve had my nails done by two technicians, Queenie & Sandra, my nails are perfect every time.

My favorite nail salon, I've been going for years! My favorite technician for powder is Nikki, if you want nail art make an appointment with Kana and Maggie is my go-to for Pedis

The salon is kept clean with very pretty decor. I've been to a few of the technicians some are friendly and some dont speak a word the whole time and have a slight attitude. I certainly didnt like having my hands shoved under the UV light when each nail was being worked on, it was rude and unprofessional. They are definitely much pricier than a lot of salons in my area. I have to say Queenie does the best work shes very meticulous about her work.

Very clean and comfortable salon. The shoulder massage after a manicure is an amazing plus. Longest-lasting pedicure on the island!
