Great work done. My 2011 car looks brand new! A few communication issue at first but that may have been on me. Hopefully it’s not needed but I’ll definitely be back if I’m ever in need of more collision work!
1 Star is not even deserved but I had to pick to post this. Let me tell about this place (Hertel location) straight to the point DO NOT GO THERE! My car was towed on 4/22 yes it was a Saturday so understandably I did not hear anything until the following week from my insurance adjustor. No communication from Gerber AT ALL until I had to call them every week to get an update. I heard more from the place I rented my car from. Well week after week same story different excuse telling me what I wanted to hear or they would update me weekly Nope not at all. Asked to speak to the manager and she was no help at all either. I met my max on my rental you think they would help cover the rental or at least some of it since now I am paying out of pocket. Again, nope did not offer any kind of concern what so ever. 8 weeks later I have my car back but they left all the parts from the accident in my trunk. Unprofessional, rude, and lack of communication. Save your self a trip and go elsewhere. The only nice people at this location are the receptionist and Mike.
The worst this people charge my insurance $30 each decal to the insurance and they took the old ones and put it in the new parts they are thefts and my 2016 GMC Sierra Denali all messed up the step bars they don't fix it they told me yes we do it we fix it they just want money they don't care about the costumer why even Gerber don't call THEY DON'T CARE the experience the worst I don't recommend the one on herself abe buffalo the worst
Took my car here where my insurance told me to take it. My front bumper was damaged took them about a week to fix no problem. Went to pick my car up and the front bumper was fixed but I can still tell where they put the bumper on but didn’t align the top with the bottom not to much of a big deal but you would think for 1800 and change I shouldn’t be able to tell let alone still see a damage on my car.
The staff is super helpful and accommodating! Especially when my rental car didn't go as planned. The receptionist and Ice made the start to my day sooooo much better than it was turning out to be
Very dishonest establishment.wrecked my sons car engine refused to accept responsibility for their negligence.outright lied to our faces.we have proof.hertel location.update.apologizing.did not wreck his engine we were totally wrong.got a lot of misinformation from secondary auto shops.we are so sorry!
They tried to over charge me $650 for breaks & $90 for an oil change? You tried to take advantage of a female bringing in her car. My car 2019 vehicle didn't need full brake lines and routers like they tried to say I needed. Thankfully I called another place who did it for 1/4 of the price and only changed my brake pads because they're honest unlike this shop. Do not recommend unless you're okay with high prices and being stolen from.
*updated* They finally got the correct paperwork to State Farm after nearly a month of it sitting in their shop.
But the fact that I had to play phone tag between a Select Service shop and State Farm for 3 weeks, and that the issue didn't get "fixed" until I insisted to State Farm to send the car to another location.it's unprofessional even if you're "new to the select service program". There are tons of other Gerber locations in the area that could have been reached out to for questions, instead of just sitting around wondering why a customer has called 3 times over a month for an update, who insists SF said they are waiting on the shop.
Employees on entry front door are so rude. I ask them about estimates for my car body part, she literally sound like she is yelling yet me. I got so Mad. I will never go there again and never let anybody go there for any service.
I took my care here due to a hit and run accident. The staff were very nice and knowledgeable. They contacted me by call and text every day they had my car to give me updates on the work they were doing. I am very pleased with the work they did.
Customer service was very helpful, quick, friendly, and professional. So long as you have an appointment, you can expect to be seen, and be on your way shortly.
