The customer service at Gerber Collision and Glass is a trainwreck. Avoid this place like the plague.

If you enjoy exploring the local area, and not being able to finish asking a question stop into a gerber, everyone seems to have their own opinion. I wanted to get a estimate, since it was on my way home from work I stopped at the one in Wheatfield where the 2 desk operators looked at me like "what are you doing here", so I asked for an estimate and they said we only do those by appointment. For a better mental picture there was literally no work going on, no car in the bay. They told me they're booked out 3 weeks for estimates.so I told them nevermind and left, So i called another because on my way home near the boulevard mall theres a second. The lady over the phone says we usually do them by appointment but you might be able to get in and says verbatim "don't tell them I told you that" so thinking hey I give it a shot. I stopped in and when i told the receptionist I would like a quote, she stated they don't do quick quotes, and rather arrogantly flips her jacket and points to it and says "when we were carubba we did", and shows me her inside shirt and points to gerber saying "as gerber our policy is appointment only". I stated a lady on the phone said I might be able to get in, she replied "well shame on her". As I was waiting for a moment to speak because it was a long winded can't do it, I just interrupted and said nevermind I'll go elsewhere. So because 3 employees wanted to play point the finger I wasted hrs driving around, and couldn't even get an uninterrupted moment in to tell them i needed a quote done asap as a federal employee due to a work vehicle hitting my personal vehicle. So in short anything to do with gerber call and make an appointment or you'll have a lovely afternoon canvassing WNY talking to people that dont let you get a word in and just want to send you to the next spot to get you out.

All the first employee had to say in a polite way was hey Sir, gerber has a policy where they only do estimates by appointment. Instead I have to get looks like what are you doing here and listen to total soup sandwiches talk

Absolutely. Would recommend this shop. Very professional work is amazing 5star collision shop!

Takes months to get finish with your vehicle and when the give you a day for pick on that same day they choose to reschedule

I gave a 3 because I don't know how soon I should wait for a phone call and/or estimate. They have my car a week now with no corespondance

I have a 2022 Toyota Camry! I was in an accident within a month of having said car. The front end was heavily damaged as well as windshield and internal damage! I was so stressed about what the finished product would look like, given it was brand new! Well, the end result was extraordinary! What the finished product looked like was amazing! The staff, management, and service were remarkable! They keep you informed along the way, very courteous, helpful! I thank them from the bottom of my heart! Job very very very well done!

I had my car brought in after an accident. They not only got a speedy estimate, but my car was done WAY ahead of the time they said it would be ready! 2 days time, when it was predicted to be a week or two! When I came to pick up my car, she looked better than new! And cleaned thoroughly, inside and out! I drove her home a very happy customer! Thank you, Gerber!

My mom’s relatively new car was bumped by her neighbor. I used the services of Gerber collision and was not disappointed. They went above and beyond to ensure the car was like new again and even arranged oil change with inspection to save us time.

Gave them my car after I hit a deer and the guy didn’t feel like working on it so he attached more to the fix so he wouldn’t have to do it. Then after him holding my car for 4 days and nothing being done to it, I came back to my bumper in pieces and my clutch worse than it already was.very poor service would not recommend and would push your insurance company to let you go somewhere else!

They did a good job w my car, all i asked was the girl in front to spell my name correctly and she gave me a hard time about it and never did it, she kept it misspelled

Had to come here because my vehicle got backed into and this one was where the insurance company wanted me to go. Gotta say i was very impressed i got there for a 9 am appointment and i was out 10 minutes later. This place is beautiful inside and very clean.

That did good work with rest of my vehicle. Somehow, in the repair process, my door, which was not damaged to start with, came back misaligned after my repair. I had to take it back. But the mechanic was apologetic and fixed the problem promptly

They did a fantastic job on my 2015 Buick Encore. A deer ran out in front of me last week. They took really good care of me and I had the car back in less then a week. Great repair shop. The craftmanship and quality of their collision repair really show. Thank you. They have fantastic front door service when you walk in everyone is very nice and the adjuster was very nice that worked with me.

Words could not possibly express our gratitude for these people! We were on vacation from Texas when our airbags spontaneously exploded in the car! This collision place helped talk with us, kept us calm after a traumatic experience, and helped us work with the Honda dealership down the road. They are kind, caring, and honest people who went above and beyond anything we could have ever expected from complete strangers. Our “southern hospitality” has nothing on these people!

Highly recommended. Just picked up my car and was very pleasantly surprised that they even cleaned the inside. The complete experience with Carubba has been great. The estimate was quick and the repair took less time than they had originally told me. Car looks great. I dealt with Ray but everyone I spoke to there was great. The lady at the front desk is very helpful. Another woman called to let me know when they received the parts need for my repair, just to keep me informed. Even spoke with one of the service tech's and he was very helpful also. Wish everything could be as easy as this experience was. Thanks

What a disappointing experience. I had decided to go with Carubba Collision because of my friend's recommendation. The lady at the front desk was super rude, didn't even spoke to me with proper attention, as if like she didn't care if I would get the repairs done with them or not.
And the guy who was supposed to take care of all the repairs and coordinate with the insurance company was total clueless. He claimed that the damage I had on my vehicle was not related to the accident, and it was already there. How can a damage middle of the collision will not be part of it is beyond me. And I end up paying for the damage out of my pocket. I would say stay away fron them because they think they can treat people however they want to and people will still bring business to them.
