Foodtown of Kensington

This place you to be a decent shop.stopped in today and everything just seemed so overpriced compared to a few other places in the neighborhood. I guess times are tough all over.

Very organized store. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. And they do their best to get you checked out as fast as possible.

Produce doesn't last long so I recommend getting your fruits and veggies on Church Ave. Staff can be quite rude, except for the guys at the cold cuts deli.

Lots of fresh produce and wide selection of groceries. Very clean. Good rewards program. Convenient self check out and parking lot. Knocking off 1 star because pricing could be a bit better.

It’s the place you go when you forgot to get something at Trader Joe’s. Not ideal to do actually grocery shopping. You’ll spend twice as much here on below average products.

It was a little cramped everything was socramped together the fruit went bad in one day which was not good had to throw it out

They dont have local products in the store. Certain items I look for are harder to get in bigger supermarkets. I usually go to the smaller ones since they help local business vendors

Some good deals on good quality iteams. Organic as well as more conventional groceries.customer service is spotty though.

Not the best prices but not many grocery stores around. They buy products for the store that are not popular which then increases prices to make up for these orders. Has all the necessities but if you're driving, go somewhere else.

I usually like Foodtown but recently I purchased two products that were expired! So disappointed I wasted my money and my time making this expired cake.

I almost always go to Foodtown. I remember when they first opened here many years ago. They have a big selection of items. I know the managers and most of the staff.
I took off one star because the store has become pretty expensive, more than it used to be. Since they remodeled so many years ago, actually. Don't get me wrong, they have some great weekly sales, but on the whole they've gotten more expensive. But I still go.

Overall good supermarket, but the milk is consistently not fresh, several times it was sour immediately on opening.

And if they can't store the milk right, what other perishables are they failing to store correctly? I'm hesitant to buy meat from them now.

They have helpful staff, and good supply for non perishables, however.

The level of product has gotten very bad. We can get milk we use to buy. Can't get the rice, the juice. Its really disappointing. Prior to a few years ago. I used to love shopping at this location. Now I go our of my way to do my food shop. This is due to the lack of product and sometimes they are expired.
Very bad business.

They have a large assortment of food and toiletries here. They also have a self-checkouy aisle. It's also the cleanest Supermarket in Kensington.

I've been shopping here my entire life. The sales have declined immensely and prices have sky rocketed. I rather drive a few more miles to shop rite.

The place have all you can need like meat's, produce, drink, food court, and more I highly recommend so you save lot money for you pocket for kind of price in everything buy.

It's a fairly typical grocery store. It has a parking lot, which is kind of unusual for NYC. The workers don't seem to care whether you're there or not. They are prettt much going to have what you need, but you'll be paying New York prices for it.

This Foodtown is always very clean and organized. They offer a great selection of fruit and fresh produce. The prices are fair, though I mostly shop for sales. My only complaint is that the aisles aren't wide enough.
