Foodtown of Hollis

This is a neighborhood grocery store. It’s small and equipped with the basics. Usually there’s no line at the register, so it’s great for picking up the few items forgotten from your list. Not my favorite. Most times the produce isn’t in the best condition. Also, the meat department doesnt appeal to the senses. Overall, no frills here.

My preferred supermarket in the neighborhood. It seems they have gotten better with taking expired items off the shelves but I still look to make sure.
The only reason they don't get the full 5 is because their GF and non-dairy options are still limited and some options are temporary. However, it is fun when I find something new.

I enjoy my overall experience here. It's clean, and overall its team is helpful. Unfortunately you don't find many organic fruit options.

Like many supermarkets in the United States, it is medium in this case, but it is quite well stocked, you can get many things coming here but if you want more expensive you have to visit a larger one, they are very friendly!

This supermarket is such a let down. The produce is never fresh and meat options look a bit scary sometimes. I ONLY shop here in an emergency. They only ever have one to two cashiers open and manager is extremely unprofessional.

It is excellent. Very well organized, in distancing and wearing masks. The Cashier's are very nice and fast. You don't have to stand in line for long.

Let me start by saying I gave them 4 *s because there prices are a little to high for me, but on the bright side they have parking, clean fresh goods and polite staff.

The employees are really kind, they help me find, my aloe beverage, and they had my favorite brands, Salutti and Aloevine!

I was able to get just about everything on my list. They were restocking shelves while I was shopping which was comforting. However, there was no toilet paper and very little paper towels.

This store is the pits! You know the bag law went into effect yet you have no 5 cent bags for customers! Delivery is worse, don't have the bags for that either! You're waiting on an order when all other supermarkets have them already. Can't wait to move from this area

Great customer service, always welcoming, never trying to close earlier then the store hours, cashiers have the best attitude.

A wonderful place to shop for your household groceries and fruits. The staff are very cooperative and friendly. The prices are also comparative to the low cost companies.

Clean supermarket, friendly staff with the understanding of English an Spanish. Prices very affordable an many items to select from.

Was in a pinch and was in the area so I bought some ground beef OK for $4
the grapes no sweet taste and on sale 1.99 but the lines were long for me just to have four items

The "floor staff" was very helpful to me and there were different ethnic foods, on that day the story was not overwhelmed with customers which is a big plus for me.

Didn't hate it.just didn't care for the pricing.very expensive for nothing.staff not very welcoming or smiling nor engaging.

There is NOTHING but teenagers working there, and not knowing a thing there doing! Where are the adults. These teenagers give noting but pure attitude and act like there own the place. This happens EVERY time I go there, very unprofessional!

Prices very high compared to stop and shop, shoprite, Walmart, neighborhood market. Levittown NY. Absolutely ridiculous prices.

So this foodtown as I have stated in other reviews is my favorite, in the area. A lot bigger than the one in bellerose/floral park (can't remember the area). It has a pretty nice variety, including gluten free products. I especially love coming here for my fruits and vegetables; they last long and they always surprise you with "exotic" goodness like Chinese lychee (yum yum). Never encountered a rude staff member, but they are always busy and on the go.

Vass variety of products. Always found what I want in the supermarket. Clean and neat. Items are a bit pricey but you can save when they are having a sale.

A bit pricey in my opinion but is always clean. I hate seeing those barrels with meat on the aisles they are disgusting to me.

Great local supermarket with good sales. The same typical food town buys that you will find at any other location. They definitely keep it well stocked, good produce, and clean.

The store had lots of great sales but were not well stocked as some of the advertised items were not on the shelves. They also had expired goods on one of the tortilla racks. Additionally, there was a customer service employee working in the aisle but could not help me because he did not speak English. There was an item on sale at another store but not this location and the manager refused to honor it.

Good to have discovered a nearby supermarket which carries all that I was looking for. Worrisome that the Deli server had a bad cough, and no mask as our items were being prepared.

I love shopping here, they have my favorite Organic Non dairy milk, and also the Cashiers are super friendly, and Fast paced. I never have to wait more than 10 minutes in line.

Too expensive, plus it stays very very cold in the store, winter, summer, spring, fall. I tried not to go in there no more. They are friendly.

Great location the people there are always welcoming and willing to help you find anything that you cannot find. I never have any complaints about this location.

The supermarket is in a convenient location with a parking lot. I like that they do have a wide variety of products, but I find their fruits and veggies are often stale, wilting, rotting, moldy or dirty. The floors are dirty as well. I’d shop here for convenience, but not as a regular default supermarket, as I can get better prices and fresher fruits, veggies and meats from other supermarkets in the area.
