The owner Jacob gave me the worst haircut I ever had. He wanted me to get a trendy bob that was longer in the front and shorter in back, I should have just left then, but he claimed he understood what I I wanted, a long angled cut, angled on the sides. He is a spiteful and angry person and purposely cut my hair incorrectly. It looked hideous. I'm surprised this place is still in business. On another note he's Jewish and he hates Muslim people. At one point during this haircut he was actually yelling at me while telling me about some interview he saw on TV with some Muslim people who were unhappy about something. Horrible, horrible experience, don't go there. I wish this experience was a total fake, but sadly I had to live with that horrible haircut and wait for it to grow out.

It was my first appointment with Jacob and it was great! He’s very skilled and gives realistic advice when it comes to your hair goals! He did such a good job on the highlights in my hair and I can’t wait for our next session!

Ok I never leave reviews. But this place is too great not to. Jacob is AMAZING. I was a new client and he stayed late for me to get a last minute balayage (at 6p on a Saturday - I mean how nice is that? !)

Then the blow dry and balayage was the best I’ve ever had. I’ve gone to very high end/ expensive salons in this city and have never walked away this happy. I am so in love with this haircut and have hands down found my favorite hairdresser (after living on the UES for 7 years and trying a TON of places- the search is finally over).

This spot & Jacob himself are the best in the city. Don’t think about it anymore. Don’t keep searching for another spot. Just book an appointment now - I promise you won’t regret it.
