Beautiful New York restaurant with Mediterranean food. The place is large (which does not prevent it from being, at the same time, very cozy), bright and well decorated. The room staff, friendly and attentive.
The food was excellent, good healthy ingredients as Mediterranean food dictates, well cooked, served and presented.
A good choice of restaurant for when you go to art galleries, the Whitney Museum or shops in the area, which has become one of our favorites on each of our visits to New York.

My family had a very special evening this past Saturday Nov 5. Mohammed and Omar assisted with our large-ish booking of 9 a few weeks in advance, and when we finally made it both gentlemen who were on duty that evening welcomed us at our table. The staff and our waiter especially, Antonio took very good care of us. The menu selection is splendid and varied and all of us could genuinely have been happy with any of the seafood or meat entrees featured on the menu. We had the Branzino, lamb top sirloin, salmon, steak frites and risotto and they were all flavorful and excellent portion sizes. The Tuscan Bordeaux blend was a great accompaniment for our meal as well. The appetizers and desserts were similarly delicious, varied and nicely prepared and presented. The hip in-house DJ was a really neat touch and his music contributed to the great vibe of the whole evening. We all can't wait to get back there again!

After not eating at this location for over a year, I decided to walk 20 minutes out of my way because I was craving mushroom croquettes & crostinis! I used to eat here quite often when I worked around the block and have easily dropped thousands dining here, so I was super excited last week when I started heading over in the bitter cold since this is one of my favorite restaurants. Well, I don’t know what happened during the past year, but the service has declined significantly! Specifically, the waitress assigned to my area totally lacked professionalism & customer service skills. Maybe she was having a bad day, so I tried to overlook the initial bad service (plus I was starving). However, at the point where she became unnecessarily rude & combative while I was ordering certain dishes she seemed confused about, I decided to leave as it was no longer enjoyable being there with the poor attitude she had. I was so shocked with the bad treatment I received that I followed up the next day with management thru their online email system by submitting my feedback on the awful experience, but I still have not heard back after 10 days now. Very disappointed & I will truly miss dining here!

On the one hand, the food is actually good - but the place is expensive for what it is. Most items on the menu should be a tad bit cheaper.
Also, the service was very slow, which is surprising given it was 6pm and the place was mostly empty.

Still pretty good, but portions were larger when they opened a few years ago. It’s also a little less clean than it used to be.

Extensive menu and a solid wine list. Big thanks to Mo (venue manager) for hospitality. Would not only recommend but will be back.

Atmosphere captures you as you enter, there's no bad seating in this space. I love the bar. Food, Mediterranean goodness (yummzers). Service agreeable, and can walk you through the menu and questions you may have. We had a great experience ️

I’ve been to this location couple of times now! Love the place it’s very welcoming the staff are great! Every time I go I sit at the bar. The bartender that works name Chris very nice guy his drinks amazing 10 out of 10! Chris for the win!

Absolutely wonderful dining experience. They made our dinner very special, and the food was delicious.

Great place to grab Mediterranean cuisine. Fig and Olive has cozy indoor seating, great service and good food. The menu is limited for vegetarians but they customise their dishes to leave out meat/seafood etc, which is rare as most restaurants stick to the description of each dish. The staff was friendly and on-point! We had a great evening dining with colleagues from work.

Classy joint. Very cute. The French toast was to die for. And a mimosa flight that they serve for you with little garnishes every time your glass empties? Delightful. Little expensive, but that shouldn't be surprising by the decor. It's a nice place. No complaints.

Great food and drinks. The outdoor seating is pretty nice but they also have a lot of seating indoors. It is not very cheap but also not that pricey considering other restaurants in the city. I would definitely go again and try other options from the menu. Our waitress was very nice and helpful.

Beautiful atmosphere, attentive service, delicious food. We had the mimosa brunch and it was amazing.

It used to be the best place for dinner.
Amazing service still, however the food menu is not anymore what it used to be! The restaurant removed some amazing dishes and i rember the old menu pre Covid!
With the new menu i must say i was super disappointed as everything is bland, the crostini are really bad, no more Penne Funghi, Truffle Risotto, Beef Caroaccio, Mushroom Crocquetes were AMAZING! They removed the Octopus Carpaccio too. Basically the best dishes were removed… If they have a new chef that it might be the problem though! The new menu makes us not coming back anymore! Sorry

We recently held a business dinner for a large group at Fig & Olive. They set us up in their beautiful and elegant private dining room, and we could not have asked for a more perfect evening. The food was great. The service was great. The acoustics were great. Much thanks to the manager, Mohammad Hossen, for his attention to detail and desire to accommodate all our requests. We also want to thank our waitress, Nedra Jones, for tirelessly attending to all of us. Fig & Olive, we will be back - Noodle Partners!

Came to sit at the bar for a cocktail. The hostess was extremely friendly and accommodating and escorted me to the bar. The bartender greeted me promptly in a friendly manner. Had an excellent cucumber Cosmo. Highly recommend.

Superb Spanish/Mediterranean through and through. Great date place, casual dinner or fancy outing. Come here for foods, drinks, cocktails. Great quality olive oils. My go to place in NYC for two years now.

I loved the experience and our food was phenomenal!
We had an amazing experience and Chris was amazing! The table next to us with two lovely and chatty gentleman paid for our meal, and it was all in all an amazing experience, we will absolutely be visiting again!

Good quality ingredients, but over all nothing to brag about. You can have the same food and quality somewhere else for 1/2 the price.

Great selection of food and cocktails. I particularly loved their crostinis. I loved having many vegetarian options. Definitely overpriced, but the food tastes brilliant.

We came here for a work dinner, but Mohommad H ensured it was a night to remember. From apps to dessert, everything was carefully and perfectly prepared.
