You should not miss Stuffed Grilled Calamari as appetizer and Astakomakaronada (A full Lobster with pasta) as entry. The lobster with pasta definitely deserves adding 20 more dollars.
The salmon tartare and grilled fish of the day is good but not as fantastic as the calamari or lobster.
The desserts are really nice and traditionally Greek flavored.

In my experience going here several times, the menu is hit and miss. The last time I was there, I ordered the tuna burger and found it tasteless and dry. Very disappointing. Also, the upstairs room gets quite noisy when it fills up, which is often. Some dishes, like the branzino, are exquisite, and I really enjoyed the lentil soup as well. Overall, if you stick to Greek food, you will do well here. But if you want a quiet and calm atmosphere in which to enjoy a meal and conversation, the upstairs area is not the place. You might have better luck nabbing a table downstairs, which has a quieter more intimate feel.

A NYC restaurant original. High quality Greek seafood restaurant. You walk in and feel you are back in Greece.

Didn't disappoint! Ordered the turbot which came with some vegetables. Veggies were a little bland but good, and we ordered the grilled vegetables separately and those were good, as were the beans. Cocktail list is small but mighty and the staff are excellent. So nice and accommodating.

The service was impeccable and the food followed suit. Very happy to have another nice open restaurant that I can visit often in the area and enjoy the ambiance, thank you to all staff, clearly the leadership at this restaurant was thoughtfully chosen. I had in particular the calamari and then a beautiful Filet Mignon cooked to perfection medium, and with amazing juices to flow out of every bite.

Great Food (lobster pasta was cooked perfectly) but service can be improved. No enthusiasm on from the senior waiter. Maybe because I came with 2 small children (6th & 9th)

We were first time here and it was an amazing experience.
First of all, yeah it's expensive, but. An excellent, marvelous service, from very friendly and helpful waiters and servers, to the captain who explained us with a lot of patience and competence and helped us choose the right meal for us and it was a bullseye. We had a grilled octopus as an appetizer, which was magnificent and a grilled fish with grilled green asparagus as a main dish and it was the best fish a ever ate (fagri/pagrus). Simple - charcoal grilled, with olive oil, lemon, salt and caper - but very delicious.
Maybe, all in all, the best meal I ever had.

Great food and service. The fish is fresh and prepared to your taste. The Branzino is excellent, along with the lemon potatoes and grilled asparagus.

Excellent food, beautiful interiors, helpful staff. They accommodated my vegan diet, and the whole table was able to eat well

Only ranked it as a 4-Star because we were seated in the basement and let the waiter pick out the fish.

With a good table and the right fish Milos is 5-Star +.

My husband who is a chef and I went out to celebrate our anniversary and he wrote this and I agree -

Estiatorio Milos is an EXCELLENT restaurant. The service exceeded my expectations, even for such a high end establishment. The food, overall, was excellent as well and I would return, perhaps for some of their fresh grilled fish or salt baked fish.
The captain, Anne I believe, first helped us to order an appropriate amount of food…we were famished and could have easily over-ordered. We chose to stick to a selection of various shareable Greek specialties rather than commit to choosing fish from their fish market (you can browse and ask about flavors and textures of various fish that you may not be familiar with).

We started with Greek spreads, gigantes, and grilled octopus…all were delectable, though we chose not to finish our portion of “htipiti” as it was so rich and full flavored…it was just too much for us. Next, lobster salad and beets salad. The lobster was as fresh as can be, though some parts of the tail were a bit tough…a common occurrence when grilling fresh lobster, overall we were very happy with the salad. Delicious. Healthy. Fresh.
For dessert, we ordered baklava to share, and while we didn’t expect to finish it, we cleaned the plate it was so good.
Lastly, teas with some of the best Greek honey I’ve ever tasted from the owners private honey farm.

If you don’t mind splurging on some of the freshest, simply prepared and healthiest menus in nyc, set aside a $$$-$$$$ budget and make a reservation here and you will not be disappointed. If I do have the opportunity to return, I’ll choose a fish from the market rather than the lobster.

I recommend the dining room over the outdoor seating.

This is by far the worst customer service ever. We booked a reservation for 8 people the day before. Unfortunately one of our team member who we had close contact with had been exposed to COVID in the morning of and we were not able to make the reservation. I have to cancel as a responsible individual. The establishment happily canceled our reservation but also charged me $600 for a late cancelation. As soon as I seen the charge I had called to dispute, the restaurant manager Blake requested me to give him a name of the person who was exposed and provide him with the results. Unfortunately that goes against our company policy as these are treated as medical records. He was unwilling to assist in any way. This establishment will certainly never get any of our business unless they decide to rectify this situation properly.

Service was horrendous. Yes, the industry is dealing with staffing shortages but this was beyond that. Food came out overcooked. It definitely tasted and looked like it had been sitting under a heating lamp for some time. Unfortunately I've tasted better lamb and salmon at a diner on 57th Street. Server/waiter didn't even ask to refill drinks. One glass of water and one glass of wine. Also, never received items we ordered. Just an overall disappointing experience. This used to be a great go-to spot. Not anymore.

The signature dish and the Greek yogurt were the highlight of the dinner. We also ordered pasta and it was literally swimming in olive oil, there was at least 1/4 cup at the bottom of the bowl, disappointing. The best thing about the restaurant was the ambiance and the superb service.

The halibut had a huge bone in the center with raw meat surrounding it. Disgusting. Tried reaching a manager to offer feedback but never heard back. Unprofessional!

My favorite restaurant on the trip. I mean, Greek style brought to simplicity and perfection and elevated with world class ingredients with pedigree. Simple is always best, for those that know how to prepare it. To give you an idea we ate at 2 Michelin restaurants on this trip, and this place was way better. No comparison. 2 bottles of white wine, appetizers including raw snapper (best ever) oysters, scallops, grilled fish, desert wines, an more. Totally worthwhile, It was so good I wanted a repeat! 100% I will go back.

The warehouse ceiling seems endless but the spaciousness of this venue offer comfort in spacing as well as the space to take in everything happening. There is ample outdoor seating as well and the bar seems like its on the other end of street. This place is vast. Opaque white drapes that adorned one area were a gorgeous accent. There was a moderate level of guest when we arrived but within an hour almost every table was occupied. You could tell there were plenty of regulars by how the staff addressed them.impressive.
We ordered several appetizers with a delicious bottle of white. Be warned, the servings here are generous. I got the lobster salad because I knew we had enough appetizers but an entire giant lobster came with the salad stuffed between. I couldn't finish. The staff was nothing short of excelsior. I am definitely returning with company.

No need for introduction, it’s MILOS! Always amazing atmosphere, fresh fish and friendly staff, that want you come back over and over again, be it a special occasion or a simple craving for Greek food, straight out of the Mediterranean Sea and beyond

First time here and it was an extraordinary experience. All staff, from hostess to servers and Manager made feel so welcoming and comfortable. I didn't have a reservation, and I'm not sure if helped that I was by myself. They all delivered an outstanding service. Talking about the food I've never had a Salmon medium term cooked so well. I doubted on getting it medium but the perfection of the texture was surprising. There's a company of beans more as decoration, but they were savory. For dessert I had the Yogurth with honey and walnuts and it was superb. I really loved it here and easily will come back and make it a regular.

The hostesses were VERY helpful. Very kind. One of them spoke spanish to my wife and made her feel comfortable. Definitely will be returning on my next trip to the states.

We had a lovely, memorable meal. Absolutely delicious with super fresh flavours. A nice selection of good quality Greek wines too. Service was very attentive and friendly.

Food was solid as always but can’t give this location 5 stars as waiter seemed disinterested in proving milos quality service. We’ve been to Milos in Montreal, Las Vegas, Miami, and Hudson yards and this was probably our least favorite location. That being said, food was great as always.

I will not recommend this place to anyone. The fish was dry and it was full of tiny bones and it was difficult to eat even though it was mentioned that fish would be deboned during preparation. When You pay more than 100 dollars for the dish you expect quality But on top of it manager did not feel sorry for the bad preparation and he acted so dumb. Only baklava was delicious.

Okay service, the food was mediocre, grilled fish was not seasoned at all ($180 dish!). Cooks are too lazy to clean lemon seeds, it’s unbelievable for a restaurant of this caliber. Very very boring desserts selection. Would not recommend overall.

This place is quite expensive but worth the money. The food is superb - Best octopus I’ve ever had. Servers were very helpful and fast.

We dined at Milos restaurant NY and so far this is by far the best food in town. My kids loved the Milos special, octopus and mushrooms. I ordered clams and the red snapper, amazing! My girls both ordered the filet. The service and atmosphere was top notch. We are from California and I hope one day they open a place like this there. This place is a must visit if you are in New York.

Were seated outside by a nice hostess however, waited over 20 minutes for a server and still waiting. Got up and left….

Ate outdoors. When paying those prices I expect top notch food and service. It was just good, not even great.

WARNING! Manager rude after incident with nut allergy.

This is their description of their Big Eye Tuna: Sashimi quality, served blue or rare, with swiss chard and beets

We ordered this for our table to share and instead we were served the tuna with a side dish of almond paste which looked like hummus! My father and brother are deathly allergic to nuts and one ended up in the hospital by ambulance and almost died outside the restaurant in the street. Instead of apologizing and trying to help or assisting, the manager said it was our fault and just kept trying to cover their bases instead of being decent human beings and caring for their customers. We accept our part of the blame but that is the worst response ever from someone in an extreme life or death emergency! If you have allergies be triple aware or better yet just skip this rude uncaring place!

Just show off of fancy restaurant. This place tries to show that they are doing amazing job with ridiculous service and food.

They just imitate good restaurant and just pretend that they have very unique experiment. Not at all. Not even close.

The front desk was very rude… milos special are some deep fried vege… really not worth to try… the only dish I like is the salmon tartare

My husband actually took me here for our anniversary and it was amazing. The food was exquisite, the service was impeccable and the ambiance was perfect. I felt like I had escaped midtown for a few hours!

What a wonderful experience!
My friend and I ordered the calamari, octopus and zucchini chips to share. They brought them one by one, very attentively so we didn't have to wait once we finished one item.

Then we were taken to a live fish market where we chose our fish. It was grilled for us right then, cooked perfectly. The chef even separated it into our plates on our table. The fish was absolute perfection.

The service was outstanding, our glasses were never empty and we were taken care of every moment.

A true fine dining experience!

If price is not a concern, this is a wonderful choice for seafood with a Greek touch (and probably all their other dishes as well, but I've mostly has the seafood).

It was absolutely amazing and high class place. This is an upscale restaurant and only those who afford it should go there. I noticed couple people complaining about the prices. However; you don’t have to go there. This was an absolute pleasure

Birthday lunch for my friend. Service was excellent fish of the day was delicious the calamari (appetizer) was very good. The dessert options could have been better for the for the lunch Meeting menu. Beautiful restaurant.

Quality always top notch here. Service was a bit stretched as they have all the tables outside as well as inside to deal with. Pricey but worth it.
