My friends and I have completed all 3 available rooms now (over the falls, body collectors and the hang over). This time Anna was our clue giver and she did a wonderful job:) if you’re looking for recommendations I would say our top 2 rooms were over the falls and the hang over. If you want an easier fun room go with over the falls, we really loved the start and the multiple rooms. If you’re over 18 and enjoy a harder room go for the hang over, we loved the theming and vibe of this room.

We brought 6 family members Christmas Eve and had a GREAT time! Our host CJ was very helpful and friendly. The actual set in the Escape Room was awesome and felt “real”. The puzzles were a fun mix of hands on search and think and discover. We had great fun discussing and arguing together. It didn’t seem too easy or too hard. We absolutely plan to do this again. Thank you for giving our family a fun holiday experience.

We had a group of 10 people do the "Over the Falls" room it was a great time had to ask for a hint and DevIn helped us out. He was great along with all the other staff members. Definitely going back to try the "Hangover" next. Would recommend Escape City it anyone.

The experience that you endure when in an escape room is mind blowing. The rooms are beyond amazing down to all the detail. Plus the staff, shout out to Izzy, are incredible. Super nice and helpful! Definitely will be back to explore another room!

We had a group of 7, and did the Hangover room. Devin was a great host! He helped us out and explained everything thoroughly. I highly recommend checking out their rooms! We will be going back for more rooms! Ask for Devin!

I I took some of my family as their Christmas gift and it was awesome. We ranged in age from 28 to 56 and all of us had a great time. We did the Over the Falls room and we're very impressed with the detailed puzzles. Our room moderator was great -all the staff was friendly. Admission is a bit more than other escape rooms but well worth the extra. The gift of time together was priceless.

We are so spoiled now, doing any other escape room doesn't even compare. We love this place, the rooms are wonderful the best we've ever done, and we've done over 50. We've done the over the falls, and body collectors. Both were amazing! Both game masters we had were amazing. We can't wait to come back and do the final room.

Awesome experience! Completed Over the Falls with 3 minutes left. Puzzles were fun and the rooms were set up like you were really in an old ship! Highly recommend Escape City! Coming back to try out the other rooms!

We have done all 3 rooms. All the rooms are very well thought out and the props and decorations are very realistic. Always a fun time and great experiences. Clues to help you along the way if you so choose.

This was only my second escape room to participate in and found it was far better than the one I did in Chattanooga TN. Can’t wait for the dinosaur escape to come in 2023.

Awesome experience, but they sold my email info to other local events and now I'm getting spam! They require users to fill out a waiver that needs an email address in - really unethical to use that for marketing purposes when I did not consent to.

Pretty easy to pinpoint this place as the one when I live nowhere near Buffalo and only recall giving out my email for the waiver during my quick visit to the east coast.

The ship escape room (my first ever) was amazing though, if it wasn't for the spam issue I would easily rate 5 stars - staff were great.

10/10 would recommend. Nothing bad to say we will be back. By far the best immersive escape room I’ve done.

We booked the Hangover room for my friend's birthday Saturday 10/1 and there were 8 of us. It surpassed all of our expectations! It was challenging, funny and a unique experience. Troy was amazing and answered all of our questions. We all can't wait to do the other rooms!

Went here a couple times a few months ago and had Chloe as our game host and I have to say she made the experience amazing. From the hints, to the customer service, Chloe had it all down to a tee. The last game I did was the hangover and it was so fun! I forgot to leave a review back then but I was reminiscing and thinking about coming back and realized I definitely should leave a review. If you want a great experience I recommend keeping an eye out for Chloe as your game master! Thanks again! <3

We came from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and went 2 other escape rooms and they where blahhh! But this one Top all, just the sceneries when you walk in was Awesome. We had a blast, and can't stop talking about it. Its been one of our great adventures is this family vacation ️ Do more rooms through!

I have done Escape rooms all over the US. We were visiting from out of state and decided to give this a try. We did all three rooms this weekend, because they were so awesome. Anna and Chloe are great Game Masters. The Hangover room definitely gave us a run for our money finishing with just 19 seconds to spare. The other 2 rooms, body collector (finished with 22 minutes left) and over the falls (finished with 9 minutes left) were both great, they all have good decorations and props. I would highly recommend this place!

We did the body collectors room and it was great fun. The attention to detail and innovative puzzles are amazing. Cyrus was our host and he was great throughout.

When I first arrived to Buffalo, Escape City was the first thing I got to see in. It was the best! We did got out our first try, but a few years later, some of my friends never been, so I planned for us to go to the Hang Over Room again because so completely forgot where everything was. We all had a great time! This year we made it a goal to finish all 4 rooms. Escape city has great detailing when it comes to their room set up. You literally forget you are in a room throughout the whole hour. Friendly environment for all ages (except the hang over room). Super Highly Recommend!

CJ was the best! We went here for part of our bachelorette party and did the hangover room and had so much fun! Best escape room we’ve ever done!

Wow! From the lobby, to the game master Zack, to the creative rooms, and overall unique and complete immersion- we loved it there! We first visited in November to do Over the Falls. Ok how they made this room look exactly like a ship I will never know!

A month later we drove the 2 hours back to do Body Collectors- which made my adrenaline sky rocket in a good way. It was like Saw but so much better!

We then got a group together to complete their 3rd room Hangover. We never laughed so hard or had so many crazy shenanigans as we did in that room. We will be laughing about it for a long time.

This business gets a solid 5 stars! A must visit!

I came here for the first time yesterday and did the hangover room, and I’ve got to say that this was so much fun to do! The hangover room was really elaborate with it’s puzzles as well as decoration. Staff was also super kind and was always there to answer our questions and give us a confidence boost:) Definitely coming back to do the other rooms!

I have very mixed feelings about this place. Atmosphere: 5 stars. Game play: 1 star.

My partner called it the most expensive terrible escape room he's ever been to. For the positive first, it is far and away the biggest and most impressive production value of any place we have been, bar none. It was completely insane. If you want just a completely wild experience and don't care that much about the games, 100% recommend. The downside was pretty much everything else. The dark rooms are really dark, even when you turn the lights on. Which when a lot of the puzzles are observational, is just completely mean. And the puzzles are really obscure and subtle. They leaned so far into the production value, that they wouldn't make ANY compromises to make the games playable. The hints were next level expert and the only reason they have as high of an escape rate as they do is because they allow unlimited hints. You NEED a big group for this. And that upset me because we asked if we could do it with 2 and they lied to our faces and said it was possible. And yes, the website requires you buy 4 tickets for any game, but a lot of places have done that even if you can do the room with less, because of covid so that it's worth it to run a private room. Most places, that's about money. This place, you really, really cannot do the rooms with less than 4.

So, if you've never done an escape room, and you just want an off the wall experience, highly recommend. If you've done 100+ escape rooms and want a GIANT challenge. Go for it. If you really like escape rooms for the puzzles and games, skip it. The puzzles are hard, but they are not clever or cool or smart.

I took my BFF and family here and it was Amazing. It was the first time at an escape room for the majority of us. It was so nice- it was completely immersive- they did a great job. Our host Zea was great and guided us just enough. We got out with 5min 42 seconds to spare.
I had looked into a Groupon for somewhere else nearby- but there was mixed reviews, and though it was far from the cheapest, I am SO glad I opted to come to Escape City Buffalo! That was due to reading other reviews-
We did the Over the Falls adventure and it was really just SO Cool. You quickly settle into the scene and it feels real. It was such a fun time. Thanks!

Not very many bad reviews here, and the ones That are here seem nit picky at best after what we Just experienced. This was by far the best escape room we have ever taken a part of. And we have done a lot. It is going to be very tough to top this place for sure. Cannot wait to go back and try the other rooms.

I've done both the body collectors and over the falls escape rooms. These are so greatly put together! You go through several rooms, they're very creative and well designed! Very cool affects. We had Anna for over the falls, she was attentive and helpful throughout the experience! Will definitely be going again!

Me and some family did body collectors. It was tons of fun and the experience all around was amazing! Chloe was phenomenal as well! Super sweet and helpful!

My son was in town from Florida and my daughter and nephew and my self had a blast. We did hang over and then came back for over the falls. Both great.

Rooms were very interactive and puzzle were fun. The Hangover room was amazing and full of tech. Would highly recommend!

A good time had by all. A glitch or two but we all had fun. Can't wait to try other varieties. I recommend the Over the Falls room.

The most detailed, thrilling and intricate escape room ever! We did over the falls and it was such a blast. Will be back to do others!

So much fun! My wife surprised me with this experience with my teenage kids. We had such a good time working together and escaping just in time!
