I’m grateful that I came here 10 years ago and met some of the most beautiful teachers. Never forget how it all started either. It was worth the experience

Currently enrolled and I’m amazed with this school how welcoming they are and informative. Can’t wait to see what my future holds here at this school.

Orientation was very informative, the staff was friendly and kind, and they ensured everything was understood before our first day.

Everyone is nice. Great speeches from everyone, getting to know other people’s experience. Getting realistic expectations for school.

I start school on Monday, I can’t wait. Staffs are caring and respectable. Can’t wait for my journey.

I hate this school. As a returning student I don’t feel that the staff is too helpful or knowledgeable about student readiness. My suggestion for this school is to provide returning students with a schedule (on paper or the app) of who their instructor is and what days they will be on the salon floor to avoid any unpreparedness. It would also be a lot more helpful if they had assigned lockers before the first day of school (during orientation maybe) so we can accommodate all of our tools and avoid missing hours/days for being unprepared.
Unfortunately, in my case I didn’t know that my first day back on the senior level would be on the salon floor and I had none of my supplies, nor a locker to place them in.

I have been a student at Empire since Sept 2022! It’s does indeed have its Pros and Cons! I believe that the school should have a better screening process of who’s allowed to participate. There’s lots of childishness because of the age of many of the students.
This is Adult learning and Some still haven’t reached adult hood.
Staff at empire on the other hand I can Give a great review for! Most staff is willing to teach and be hands on with students. They show they care and Share their talent to see others succeed. There’s a few staff FEW that can learn to Develop better people skills and work ethics.
Overall my experience has by far been exceptional because I and my peers have learned so much and Motivated each other!

This school is super diverse, and the staff is welcoming and supportive. I’ve had a situation with something at home and the executive directors helped me and made me comfortable in the best way that they could. The students out of my class most are nice, you’ll run across a few people that aren’t so friendly. My class feels like a family. Everyone is super nice and they always make me content when I come to school. The teacher I have is Mr O, and he’s honestly amazing. He makes sure he is extra with the lessons and theory. He also makes sure everyone knows and understands what is going on in class. You’ll never feel excluded. If you want to be motivated and happy to learn, i really recommend if you’re going to this school, to ask for Mr O’s class you will not regret it.

Empire is an excellent school to attend. You’ll get a nice hands on experience, with friendly students and staff

A great experience especially with the educators and administrators being so supportive. Administrators like Mr. Flagg, Ms. Turner, Mrs. Felicia, and Ms.maye as well as teachers like Mr. O who love what they do and show up to give their all everyday just so that we can be on the best path to being successful professionals. This school doesn’t just teach you about hair, this school doesn’t just teach you about skin care, nail care, barbering, this school teaches you how to excell in the any aspect of the cosmetology field. You learn how to treat your clients as well as just the people you work with and/or for. You learn buissness skills and gain experience that is visual and hands on. Coming straight out of high school and being afraid to enter a new environment all alone at that, all you can do is put yourself in a place where you can grow, feel comfortable, and learn all at once. Seeing other schools made me realize I chose the best place for me️

Empire is really a nice school In Manhattan and I love it. Good teachers and good staffing.

Im a new student I started last week. It’s been very fun, and I’m learning a lot of new information.

My teacher Mr. O makes things interesting, we learn something new every day. Coming to school every day is easy when you have a teacher like mine who cares and makes every day fun. ‍️‍️

So far my experience has been amazing! Everyone has been so helpful with getting me set up for success and I love how highly everyone talks about the school and their personal experiences with the education.

Hello I am a student at empire beauty school in Manhattan and I can say by far it’s the best decision I have made the school is really good love the teachers especially my teacher MR O hes a very good teacher and can’t wait to over come more achievements ones I get to salon level I’ve been here since October 24th and I have not given up so for those that would like to experience a good achievement at empire beauty school can definitely give it a try yall wont regret it everyone that work at the school are very good and they are very helpful

I’m so happy to attend Empire Beauty School in Manhattan. The teachers and staff are very supportive and want to see all students succeed. The teachers go above and beyond to make sure you know everything you need to know about all aspects of theory and practical. I love the teaching techniques and so much more. I’m thankful to also have a wonderful teacher Ms. Cornelius, she is amazing.

Empire is an okay School, I really like my Teacher Mr Ortiz he is very hands on and very helpful, Professional and really lets his students know that he wants all succeed. So if you want to come here ask to be in Mr Ortiz class you would really like it.

I feel very blessed and honored to be attending Empire Beauty School and even luckier to have been placed in Mr. O’s class. My journey started when Mr. Flagg called me so I can get a tour. I went for the tour & that same day I finished my financial aide. Overall my experience has been amazing. From the kit to all the Knowledge you intake. Hair is so much more then you think and here at Empire Beauty the educators prep you to the best of their abilities. Specially my educator Mr. O the best!

Ask for Mr. O ️ We love you Mr. O? He makes you feel welcome and makes this experience more fun and enjoyable. The administration is supportive and there when you have questions.
