I’ll give it a 10+ my wife and I move to Colvin ave around 4 years ago and I have never seen this location the way it looks like now. No carts all over the place you can actually walk through the aisles with out having to climb the boxes or all the merchandise left on floor I come to this store 2-3 times per day and is just amazing how there staff is always working, nice, helpful if I was the manager I would give everyone a raise just for having the courage of cleaning the entire store for us the customers.

Alicia is the best person anybody could ever work for and as far as the customers go they're very lucky to have her to be in the community she's so kind caring thankful things of others before herself always willing to help and I truly have never seen a harder worker. She taught me a lot of things she also taught me one of the biggest life lessons I'll ever learn is that when you work with somebody you don't just become employees you become family you become close friends you spend so much time together and I made a mistake and I ruined our friendship most of all I lost the trust that I had with you as a friend not most people employees managers or even strangers are easy to become friends with but you you're just an angel and I really hope you know that and I know all your customers know that as well during covid you want above and beyond and did everything you possibly could in our community will always thank you for that

They had some really good deals on cereal & soda. This particular location always had stock in Isles I don't think I've ever been in there weather hasn't been stock in the aisles like it needed to be put away and I'm sure I don't always come there I'm stock day.

️️ The Front Cashier (Alicia) made my experience one to remember 6 service, showed Undying professionalism from when I walked in to after I left I'd highly recommend everyone to shop here from the managers to the workers there I hope they all succeed and accomplish every single life goal they set for themselves.

Friendly service is the norm. Has good selection of household necessities. Packs a lot of product in a small space. On the Hertel bus line. Ample off street parking. Most products are no longer a dollar of course, but check out the bargain aisle.

Slightly more expensive than competitors but I found everything I needed and the csr was friendly.

Love this place. Always consistent on stock and workers are friendly n informatable when you need something

Dollar general has great merchandise awesome sales and prices always shop for latest deals with discounts nice sales associate excellent managers this location is very popular small store with a big DG sign on top of it no customers were shopping at the time of visit I knew what I wanted to do and leave with my purchased belonging.

Had to move a ladder out of my way and when something fell i tried to grab it and scraped my arm

Usually have alot of options but i got an orange soda and it was 5 months expired. Why are they still selling expired stuff?

They have a large selection of everyday items. However the store feels really cluttered and can be a bit messy. Cashiers are hit or miss, sometimes they are just down right unpleasant or they will talk your ear off even when other people are in line behind you. Seems like it just depends on the day and who is at the register on how your experience will go.

Was disappointed in service! I've been going to this store for many years. Today I've stopped by with a stroller and baby on our outside wallk to quickly get few items. Cashier was way to slow to beginwith, baby was sweating as dressed for the winter - end of November. They letted another person to skip the line before me- must they not seen me inline keeping distance? I could not belive it, but ok. At redgester they where stuffing my heavy items into a thin paper beg with flimsy paper handles. Ive asked them to please double beg, yet cashirs refused. I politely explained that this beg will not hold the weight and I would need to hang it on the stroller in order to be able to carry it. Ive also offered to gladly pay for the 2nd beg. To my big surprise they would still refuse and explained that they are in short supply. I understand, but there is no way I would be able to carry it and have it. I thanked them for the service and left the store, leaving my items for them to keep. I was extremely disappointed that they would not make an exception of any kind. Had i had my car with me- no prob, bit they can clearly see a stroller that has no room for shopping other then a hook. Wished they would cherish a customer more, but we are just a number in this store.if I was a manager at the store I would make an exception. I could also ask customers if beg was necessary or offered incentives to skip a beg - even a small sign " lets go green-skip a beg" if that visit i came with car - I would skip a beg as I usually do at stores when possible.

Plenty of Halloween candy and the sale was if you buy 2 $5 bags of candy you get 1 $5 bag free (sale is over, but l am sure they will have more before Halloween).

The Dollar General is the best store for finding what you need at a great price! Awesome customer service too!

I like their Clover Valley brand of snack foods. But they are scattered all over the store in different sections. Lately they've been out of stock on many things I want. Still it's a great value great food and I appreciate the store.

Store was neat and well stocked. Associates were friendly. Prices as always were very competitive.

Very nice staff as always it's a pleasure to shop there the only thing is the equipment there use to stock the shelves are in the way some times lol

It's close to my home, has most of the things I need monthly refills in, and enjoy the company of the employees.

The workers are weird (rude) they stare at you they don't answer your questions. And the store is not very clean

I found some things I was looking for quickly. The store was clean, the staff was pretty good, the prices were reasonable.

It was a wonderful experience! A woman was training another employee (very well I might ad) she had patience of a saint! & Shame on me for not getting her name!

A quick and convenient stop where you can find toiletries, sundries, gift cards, food items and much more for a reasonable price.

All the stores seem to be the same. And not in a good way. The ones I've visited in the Buffalo area are so very dirty and products are everywhere. They have their products to be shelved blocking the Isles and it sits there. Nobody working it. Floors are stained and filthy. Most products are dusty and dirty also. The district manager should be ashamed for sure. No way to run a business. Pretty much all I have to say. One more thing, the staff, where to they get them and what do they do there?

Love this one the employees are so courteous and helpful the store is orginized and neat.always greet you when ypu walk in the door.

Love 100.00 general. Never got out w 1.00. But go weekly. Save money shopping around. But i have the time for it.

I'm not sure who is in charge of Dollar General on Hertel and Colvin. I have to say it had been an amazing turn around. The floors are clean the isles are not full of garbage and crates on the walkway. That young lady is doing a great job, the store is a pleasure to shop there again.

Love the staff at this Dollar General, they are always pleasant, upbeat, and friendly. Much improved over the years. Store however is always a mess, would hate for there to ever have a need for EMERGENCY Exit, impossible, aisles always blocked with large wheelers, crates, and boxes.

First time I shopped here I said it would be my last. Disorganized. Disheveled. Not enough staff. Inventory in the aisles waiting to be stocked on shelves. But the staff is friendly and they carry my favorite band of potato chips at a discount. What else can I say?

This place is a complete mess! Isle's are always have carts with products still in the box! I took some pictures, so hopefully I can upload them to show what a mess this store is.

This store is full of clutter! There's always boxes in every aisle, shelves bare and short of help. But the cashiers are very polite!

It's disgusting and a hoarders dream everything was out of stock never in my life will I visit again
