Came in for skates for my kid. Tyler greeted us and did an amazing job. It was not a sure thing I was going to buy them but the level of knowledge and kindness from Tyler guaranteed the sale. I didn’t get the name of the gentleman that sharpened the skate but he did a great job and put a lot of care on how the final product looked. Amazing service!

Everything you need including hunting equipment, excellent prices, military discount, knowledgeable and helpful staff, not crowded, and retro historical charm. Why go elsewhere?

Guys in the hunting section have no customers service what so ever stood there for 20 mins before I just walked out they were both just standing there next to me the entire time and didn’t say a single word. I was standing there asking about a fishing pole. Just wow.

I've never had great luck at this location.it's hasn't even bad, but just kinda blah. We visited today and I was absolutely blown away by the friendliness! It was a huge change of pace. Then there was one gentleman that went above and beyond to help us with a fairly small purchase. I was and still am extremely impressed! I will make it a point to come back to this store strictly due to the incredible experience we had! I wish ibhad gotten the guys name that had helped! But hats off to you sir!

I took 4 golf clubs in to be regripped. I got a call telling me that my club shafts were larger than the new grips, however they told me to come back the next day. When I arrived they told me they were able to stretch out the grips and 2 employees were able to put them on. I consider this excellent service at no extra cost. This is why they are so successful.

It was a very pleasant experience. My son is doing baseball and I had no knowledge of anything he needed. The associates were so helpful and knowledgeable and help us find everything we needed. Thank you

Out of stock on softballs. All employees were to busy huddled together talking to help. Customer Service is obsolete anymore.

If I could give minus zero stars, I would. From entering the store to leaving several employees ignored me. No greetings. When I was ready to purchase both registers were open with both cashiers present and not one said I can help you despite visible seeing I was ready to be checked out with my merchandise. Will take my business else where!

Although they don’t do year round cleat sales they always have everything you need and will always check with other stores or online to help you find the best quality product…definitely a great store

Needed an item out of stock. The manager of the Binghamton store made sure the Vestal store held the last one for me until I was able to pick it up. That is good customer service.

Vary nice. Well stocked with tons of outdoor gear of good quality, helpful employees, and a nice atmosphere for what u can accomplish outdoors

Although it’s probably the smallest and most dated store, it is the OG Dick’s Sporting Good, still alive and kicking. They have a great selection and friendly staff. Plus there’s lots of parking right in front of the store. No plaza traffic to hassle with.

Hate the crowds over at the Vestal store? Come to the OG Dick’s Sporting Good store. They have a good selection and a very large outdoor section as well.

The place is nice but multiple workers were not wearing face coverings which is very upsetting to see. (visit was during pandemic)

So rude. Spent so much money there over the years. Went in this morning to get information on kayacs. He seems he didn't want to talk to us to begin with and then some jerk with a spread sheet came out and they both started looking at it and completely ignored us. Lost all of our future business.

Calling the store and enquiring about a object then driving 45 minutes to the store to find out they do not have what I called about I was not happy the manager was not happy as well she was the one who looked for the object I called about after giving me a discount I was someone satisfied note to self make sure you triple check what you are looking for

As has been said, friendly and knowledgable staff! The guy in the shoe dept, I think his name is Deon, was fully engaged in our conversation about the next pair of shoes I was about to purchase for several minutes.

The lady at the store in Binghamton was very helpful n professional, I will go back there everytime instead of Vestal store where I was given looks and the lady was hostile she seemed like I was bothering her.
