When I came to pick it up, I quite literally gasped, it looked as new as the day I bought it. Stains I thought would be there forever, vanished. Highly recommend. I was referred to Details That Matters by a mechanic who I highly trust for protective film application, ceramic coating and interior vacuuming and seat shampooing. Scotty and his team exceeded expectations! DTM primary goal and objective is customer satisfaction. Scotty went above and beyond to deliver the best service possible. I was very please with the services and their pricing are fair and more competitive then getting through a dealership. Also Scotty is very passionate about his work and takes pride in what his organization do. Scotty is also very honest. I learn not waste money on paying for lifetime ceramic coating because it does not last. I am so pleased with the service, I already booked my 3 months maintenance to preserve and enhance the ceramic coat. Where do I even begin? I've found my go to detailing shop. Scotty and his team are not only incredibly knowledgeable in their field, but they're super passionate and enthusiastic about what they do. Every single person I spoke with on the team there had such a great attitude and made the entire experience such a positive one. I took my car in to get the interior completely cleaned (my dog had taken a s*** n my car - yikes) and remove some scratches on the exterior (again, thank you dog) as well as paint chips. My car was ready two days later looking BRAND new, felt like I was driving it new off the lot. I don't know how they did it but it looks fantastic and feels fantastic. Their communication is excellent and prompt and I felt so taken care of. I will absolutely be returning. Thank you SO so much!:)

James truly put in a heroic effort in cleaning out the rats nest in my car engine! He went above and beyond and made sure all the nooks and crannies were clean and sanitized which again was heroic because there was literally a rat city in my car. Scotty and his team are the absolute best. I’ve been a long time customer, and can honestly say there isn’t a detail shop in NYC that can compete with his work. I have recommended so many friends and colleagues to him throughout the years, and they have all been satisfied. His attention to detail is amazing and he truly cares for your vehicle as if it was his. What I really value is his honest opinion, he tells you exactly what your car needs.

Service was professional, fast, thorough, communicative, and well priced! I’ve taken my car several places in NYC for cleaning and this is by far the best place I’ve gone— it’s the only place I’ll be taking my car going forward.

These guys at details that matter are truly professionals! I took my BMW X5 M50i which had many swirls marks all over to them. I met with the owner who explained the process of repair from beginning to end. I wasn’t to optimistic since I had take my car previously to another shop and I was disappointed with the results. I left my car in the hands of details that matter for 2 days, and when I picked up my car, I was blown away on what an amazing job these guys were able to do. My car looked like it had just came out of the show room, theses guy are truly rocks stars, I highly recommend them! Thank you to Scotty and team details that matter, much appreciated!

Brought in my 2009 outback for a much needed full detailing. After years of beach and ski trips, the interior in particular was in need of some deep cleaning. James and crew came through and did an awesome job- my 7 year old said it is like we have a new car!

I took my 08 Viper in for interior decontamination and wash/detail and was thrilled with the results. The service was extremely personal and tailored to the needs of the car, and the car looks amazing. I will return for more detailing work!

I have to agree with the other 5star reviews. I was looking for a place to give my 15yo car a facelift in preparation for sale. Scheduling was a breeze for the next day service. James was a pleasure to work with, informative, honest, very diligent and detailed, and fair in pricing. Car looks as beautiful and neat inside and out as it was the day I acquired it 13 years ago, and is definitely ready to impress its new owner.

Big thanks to James and the team @ Details That Matter. My car was a hot mess and they made her brand new. I didn’t know where to go in Greenpoint for a reasonable detail, but now I found my guy!

NYC needs a place like this, run by a guy who loves cars. Only my second time coming, and they did a great job just as the first time. They do really nice tint work too. I've been to so many hand car wash places, and this place stands out.

These guys do amazing work. I first took my model 3 with all white interior to be detailed by them and was very pleased with the care and attention to detail that they took. So I decided to book a PPF for my front and rear bumper for the next week. And again they knocked it out the park. The installation was seamless and the PPF seem to enhance the color of the car a bit. Also Scotty the owner was easy to talk too and his communication during the entire process was well appreciated.

I gave Scotty and the team the very hard task of cleaning a car that sat outside for a long long time. They brought it back to life and their attention to detail and effort to totally transform the car were evident. I appreciate their willingness to take on the task and go to the lengths they did to clean both the interior and exterior. — they removed stains on the interior, took off and cleaned under a hood shield, brought the exterior back to a sparkling clean, and the wheels looked great. Highly communicative also! Can’t recommend them enough and will be back!

After reading all the fantastic reviews, my wife and I took our new Mazda CX-30 to Details ThatMatter last month to get the swirl marks out that had been left all over the car by a bad car wash from the dealer. Wow, were we impressed! Scotty removed all of those swirls and imperfections and ceramic coated our entire car. It looks phenomenal now. Even after scouring the entire car for any issues I simply couldn’t find any. Scotty is amazing, friendly, and a pleasure to deal with. He was always available if we had any questions. We were blown away by his attention to detail and his obvious passion for making things look as perfect as possible. James was also great and provided really helpful advice as to how to maintain our car as we are now washing it ourselves. Truly an above and beyond level of service.

This place is amazing. We had spilled milk in our car and the smell was unbearable for over a month. We finally decided to get it taken care of, and these guys spent 7 hours cleaning our car, removing seats, etc, and it is now completely gone. They were in constant communication throughout, super professional, and thorough. They also did the outside and it looks better than it did the day we got it. They were incredibly friendly and generous, throwing in a bunch of things for free. All in all they treated the car like it was their own, and were incredibly invested and proud of their work. Couldn't recommend supporting this local business more.

With so many 5-star reviews, it almost sounded too good to be true. My car was covered with salt as a result of the storm, and I was looking for a high-quality detailing that wouldn’t require me to travel to Mineola

First of all, scheduling the appointment was super easy, I texted Scotty, and we were done in just a few messages. I asked for a simple detailing inside/outside, plus a cleaning of the undercarriage, and a ceramic boost. I particularly liked that James didn’t push me to overdo the interior, considering another storm was likely.

Scotty texted me back when the car was ready (the entire detailing took ~90 min), and the car looked perfect! The ceramic boost was also well applied. It cost me $130 + $65 for the undercarriage cleaning.

I’ve finally found a detailing that I like in Brooklyn, I’ll definitely be back!
