Della Chevrolet of Plattsburgh

I was disappointed that I did not get a tutorial on the various features of the new equinox. The reason I bought the equinox was because I am older (79) and had a 2018 equinox and figured at my age it is best to stick with the same, but there were quite a few changes. I manage to figure out and find most of what I needed or wanted on my own. Things seemed to be rushed and a lot coming at me all at once at the end.

Buying with Della Chevrolet was a great experience. Dylan had us in our new car in just one day! It was the fastest buying experience we’ve ever had!

My husband showed up for an inspection and was told that he didn’t have an appointment. He told the guy that I had made the appointment two days prior and that I was told the appointment was for noon. The guy was clearly put out by this and stated that he thought the last appointment had been done at 11: 30 but said that they would fit my husband in. He then proceeded to say that the tint on the truck may not pass the inspection. My husband told him that we had it done to NY State standards. He then said if it was too dark, the truck would not be inspected. And then stated, “I’m only doing my job”. The truck and tint passed inspection do everything turned out ok but the initial feeling this encounter left wasn’t good. The guy did however call my husband later in the day to say that he had rebooted his system and saw that he did indeed have an appointment for noon.

Jerimy was great and was running around like a nut. You need more people at the check in.
Most establishments and dealers will go beyond just doing an oil change and do all the little things that are a nice touch, like topping off fluids, complementary tire rotation, cleaning the windows or vacuuming the car (like Jiffy Lube, Monroe or Valvoline). You would think that your dealership would want to at least match the services that other competing businesses offer their customers.

Working with Nick and Sam was great. They were pleasant and informative and did not make me feel pressured or rushed. Everything was taken care of for me, including paperwork.

Service was good. The only issue I had was a rental was supposed to be available for me so I had to wait for a ride to another dealership to get a rental then had to wait around there because I wasn't told I needed my insurance card for the rental and waited for chevy to fax to Toyota. My appointment was for 9am didn't leave Toyota until after 10

Purchased a vehicle today and went to go fill out the paperwork and I knew something wasn't adding up and I asked the finance guy about it. They charged me $895 for some kind of paint sealant that I never asked for and I never wanted. He said, " it's mandatory. We put it on all our cars. "Well I didn't ask you for it. I should have walked out right then and there.that's on me. But I will never go there to buy another vehicle ever again. Not a good way to do business. If someone didn't ask for an add-on, you don't mark up the price for one. Shame on you!

Spotted a new truck on the lot finally! Looked at it at 9: 30, picked it up at 2: 30 the same day. Absolutely another great experience for my wife and I. Arrived at 2 noon, was stuck in the dealership till way after close. I almost sold a new truck that had dents and chips in it and was offered a paint pen. I was ripped of on my trade was told it was only worth 10000,2 days later they listed it for 19000. I will never ever ser foot in that dealership again complete crooks.

Dylan was great to work with! He went and got a Ridgeline from their Honda partner for us to test drive. Super friendly and helpful!

Our truck has been there a week. Oh dear. "we forgot to make out a workorder for it. " We asked if they had a rental or loaner. Negative on both! I asked if we could "try out" a vehicle to get us home, as my husband has life sustaining meds that he takes in the evening and morning. Claimed that insurance wouldn't cover us. This is ludicrous, as all they had to do was put dealer plates on the car. Heartless. Trying to arrange to get it to our town to our own dealer. We need this truck for our business. Told us ANOTHER week!

Very friendly and helpful staff. It was nice to be able to pull my vehicle in out of the weather for them to check it in.

December 5 our truck died and needed towing! Michael, our tow truck driver, delivered us safely at Della Chevrolet. Dusti Putnam has been helping us with our warranties & getting us our vehicle home to us! She was in constant contact with us! Cody was our master mechanic! We received a brand new transmission to begin our 2023! We highly recommend Della Chevrolet Service Center for all your vehicles needs!

I’ve had such a wonderful customer service experience with Della Chevrolet in Plattsburgh! I had ongoing issues with a vehicle I had purchased in Queensbury NY, Dusty in service took the initiative and helped me through this difficult time. She was able to work with her fellow colleagues including Rob ahead of service and fix my vehicle, I cannot thank you Dusty enough for her professionalism and gratitude! She treated me more like a family member than a customer! Going forward because of their great customer service skills I will be looking to purchase my next vehicle from them. I also want to thank James and Mitch in sales. I appreciated the time and stepping in during this awful experience I had with the other dealership! Our experience with Nick and Sam was by far the best experience we’ve had in a dealership. Nick was amazingly friendly and understanding of our budget and time concerns. Sam was personable and didn’t pressure us into anything we didn’t want. When we are ready for our next purchase, we will definitely be making the 2 hour drive just to work with these two again!

Took my 22 CAMARO IN TO HAVE BACK UP CAMERA FIXED SO THE GRID LINES would show up where they would be able to be seen. Was told there was no sdjustment and that is what it is. I have contacted GM and will pursue this problem until it is resolved. Have contacted other Camaro owners with the same year and model and they stated their camera worked fine.

Larry was awesome to work! He is very personable and friendly to work with and he was willing to take most of his day (on 2 separate days) to get me into the car I wanted!

Friendly and not too pushy. But don't expect to get a deal on the used vehicles. I was told price is as marked - no room to drop.

Tires on the truck I wanted were not going to pass inspection but they wouldn't put on a new set. Gave me $500 off instead and if you know the price of tires, that's about 60% the cost of a new set.

They did a better job on the financing than I expected so that helped.

I dropped my car off and waited a very reasonable amount of time for it to be done. They explained what they did, provided me with paperwork and a very easy transaction. I can’t ask for nor expect any more than that.

Stopped in looking for a new Silverado. There was one listed on their website for sale it was a little more pricey than other dealerships but I figured I'd look at it anyways. Got offered $500 on my trade in when other local companies were in the 4-5000 range. Was told 500 was doing me a favor. LOL. The vehicle I was looking at wasn't ready to test drive. Salesperson told me I'd get a call back when it was ready. No one ever called. Bought a vehicle elsewhere. This is the last place I'd go look for a vehicle. Entire interaction felt slimy. I give a 0/5 if possible.

I would like to say that the parts department Dav was fantastic he helped me with parts that was not available in Montreal and went above and Beyond to find them he was very helpful thank you bud

Nick and James did a lot for us to get our car. They helped us a lot with everything we really appreciate ty Nick and James.

I was extremely disappointed in the customer service for the service department; by some of the staff. Robbie was excellent and very helpful. Never heard back from the Sales Department about trading my vehicle for a used car on the lot.

The service writer John was friendly and helpful when we brought our truck in for electrical diagnostic. Although the tech could not reproduce the issue I did get some info about the charging system to watch for. Thank you for the great service! Dan

Brought a Cadillac in for the same engine light 8 times. Couldn’t fix it. Threw parts at it for months. Brought it to another dealership, fixed it first try. Lady at the service desk is a sarcastic and frankly undereducated person with little respect for customers. Mechanics are undertrained, managers are slimy.

Got a new car Rav 4 thank you Dylan Dylan got a five star. Company I don't think people should buy a car from there but if you do check everything they are not true to there customers they sold us a car with beat up weather checked cracked tires and on our way home the tire pressure light came on we brought it back they fill them again said the light should reset it never did had someone look at the tires and found out the tires were no good and it shouldn't had pass inspection and they acting like they didn't no this plus the day we brought the car we test drove the car someone hit it put a dent in it they said it would be a easy fix left there still with the dent So 1 star is a true good rating plus they really put no gas in the car buying it from them but there customers are there #1, Now it's been over a month and still nothing been done or settled yet this place shouldn't even have a license to be open they're crooks so be very mindful of who you spend your money with. I will like to give Two thumbs up the Della Chevrolet of Plattsburgh for successfully fixing the tire problem and doing there best to satisfy there customers thank you to the staff there, this is a beginning step to put your trust into a company

Your dealership was great but the product was not broke down at 34 miles. Picked up the new truck and before I left the city the check engine light was on

I have friends that have gone to Della Chevrolet and have gotten great service there. They have also worked with great employees. After what my friends have told me I would recommend Della Chevrolet for anyone in Plattsburgh looking to buy a car as it is the best dealership in the area.
