Dee's Wood Fired Pizza + Kitchen

I've been just once in only for pizza (truffles delight). Very good! Can't say anything about else. Atmosphere and service is very good as well. Thanks guys!

Just wonderful in all respects. Funny have walked by Dee's for years during long walks to Kew Gardens, mostly before lunch time. Today to be envited for Father's day event with my daughter and husband who reside in Manhattan.

Would give a 5 but bar tender was very nasty. Waiters and waitresses were great. Food is excellent

We went there for our Pastor's birthday. We had a fantastic time, dinner was delicious and our server Chris (I hope I remembered his name) was fantastic. We were very happy and delighted with the evening. We were allowed to bring in balloons and cider since we don't drink. Tip is included in the bill for groups of 5 people.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a charming little Italian restaurant called "Dee’s NYC" and had an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with warm smiles and a cozy ambiance that made us feel right at home.

To start off our meal, we decided to indulge in a classic Italian favorite - pizza. We ordered the Classico & Forest Hills pizza, and it was a true delight. The crust was perfectly crispy, the tomato sauce was flavorful, and the melted mozzarella cheese brought everything together in a mouthwatering symphony of flavors. It was evident that the pizza had been made with love and attention to detail. Also, we requested a sprinkle of truffle oil on both which brought the pizza to another level.

We couldn't resist trying the calamari. To our delight, the calamari was cooked to perfection - tender, not at all chewy, and lightly seasoned with just the right amount of herbs and spices. The accompanying dipping sauce added a tangy kick that perfectly complemented the crispy exterior of the calamari. It was a plate of seafood perfection.

To accompany our delectable meal, we opted for a bottle of Riesling wine recommended by our fabulous waitress, Arianna.

We couldn't have asked for a better waitress. She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel like valued guests throughout our dining experience. She took the time to explain the menu, answer our questions.

Overall, our experience was nothing short of fantastic. If you're looking for a cozy Italian restaurant with delicious food and exceptional service. You won't be disappointed.

I dined at Dee's last week with a lady friend. I ordered the chicken parmesan for dinner and the almond tiramisu cake for dessert. The chicken parmesan was very good; two nice sized portions of chicken. The tiramisu was outstanding! I have always enjoyed tiramisu but had never eaten it specifically with almond. Superb! The atmosphere was casual and friendly. There was a pleasant mix of couples and families. I found Dee's to be a very enjoyable restaurant. I highly recommend it.

I been several times I nyc but never been in this restaurant my relatives invited me to try this place.
I want to say it was delicious everything the pizza with mushrooms and truffle oil, linguine with chiken and perfect mush potato whith short ribs it was perfect. I sure when i come again to us I back again.

I have been going to Dee’s with my family since they opened their first location years ago. I honestly think the food just keeps getting BETTER!

What a wonderful place!
We went to Dee’s for the first time on a Friday night and the experience was great! We had reservations and we’re seated as soon as we got there. The restaurant have a relaxing atmosphere and is beautiful. All the waiters and waitresses were very nice and welcoming.
The food was DELICIOUS! We ordered two pizzas and they came out fast, they’re super tasty and the ingredients are good and high quality.
PS. They have a Nutella Pizza! We didn’t ordered but we’re definitely going back to try it!
Highly recommend the restaurant if you’re looking for great food, service and ambiance!

This place is great. The food is amazing and tasty. The servers are amazing and very nice. The truffle delight pizza is the best. The wings were very good. The meatball was very good in the sauce.

Too expensive for mediocre pizza but we shwred cause of the high price. Barely any cheese, very oily, and bread was chewy.

A little above average price range. The Italian food was very good but nothing extremely.noteworthy. My server was excellent and very professional. The plating of the food was also excellent

Absolutely beautiful restaurant and delicious food! Attended an engagement party and the space was absolutely perfect

Nice clean and quiet place with excellent service! They had crayons for all the kids to draw n the tables, kept them occupied. They had a nice little QR code for the menu.

The pizzas came super quick and were delicious. The calamari was on point and great sized. The mac & cheese fritters balls were something different. The salads were nice, crisp and fresh. The Dee's Fettucine was well balanced and al dente, excellent! The Nene's Spaghetti & Meatballs was unfortunately overly salty and the meat balls were mushy, or else this would've def been a five star review.

We will def be back to try again.hopefully everything will be great on the next run! Until then.

Last wekeend, my family and I atrended my sister in law's baby shower and loved the service and attention from the staff at Dee's! The food was delicious. Dimitri was attentive and friendly and the young man that worked that party was also wonderful!

My husband and I had our baby shower at Dee's today (October 2022) and we could not have been any happier and glad we chose Dee's to have our event.

From the beginning to the end of the event, the whole staff, servers, seriously EVERYONE was so accommodating. Everything went so smoothly, it couldn't have been any more perfect than it was today.

Olivia was SO GREAT and professional and kind and she was really simply so freaking great. Communicating with her was as easy can be. We communicated via email and she was responsive and to the point. We were able to bring in our decorations the night before the event which helped a lot and she even helped set up the tables with balloons that night.

All the servers and staff at our baby shower was SUPER freaking attentive and great. They knew what they were doing- my husband and I really did not have to worry about anything. They were friendly and helped decorate and give their input on what they thought might work better, etc which was super helpful.

Highly highly highly *** recommend to use Dee's for any of your private events!

On top of that, their food is delicious. We came here when we first told our family we were pregnant, and really enjoyed the pizzas, apps, and entrees and it did not disappoint us today. All the guests raved about how delicious their pizzas and their food were. You would not make a mistake booking Dee's for your next event.

I really enjoyed the Buffalo pie.the burratta and Mac and cheese bites were good too.service was great too.

Went here for a baby shower and it was such a well oiled machine.

The place was clean and decorated. The food kept coming with so many courses and variety.

The staff was on point. They were attentive and friendly. I was at a table with someone who was complaining about cheese in all the food. So they made her a special dish just for her.

Not really sure what’s going on with Dee’s lately. We used to come here alot pre-covid and loved it. Now, we came in January and the server who was new made a few mistakes. The manager quickly fixed our order and even sent us a round of drinks and cookies for dessert to make up for it which was wonderful (I think his name was Steven? Or someone starting with an S). He was very nice and passionate about making sure we had a good time as they move into post covid and new employees. We had dinner a few night ago and had a horrible time. We did not recognize anyone, no manager came to talk to our table about our cold food and it seems that no one cares about customers here anymore. Sorry dees, you’ve lost our patronage

Just went back to Dee's the other day after several years. Not sure what I was waiting for because the food was excellent.

The pizza was much better than I remembered, kind of a hybrid neapolitan/coal fired pie.

I had the lasagna and wow, was that tasty. Another friend had the Classic Salad and loved it. The other had the Chicken Milanese with Burrata (slightly over done cutlet IMO, but my friend ate it up).

Service was professional and friendly too.

If you haven't been by in awhile, don't sleep on Dee's.

First time been there and planing to go back next week. One of the best pizza you can find in Queens probably the best one…. Only one thing I will suggest the servers. When they see is still a bite in plare don’t rush to get the plate or be more careful and look up before you get the plate…. Anyway very very happy by the end

Dees is our neighborhood favorite. The food is excellent and the menu keeps on evolving. The environment is fun and welcoming, the staff are very attentive. Our recent visit was great- our server, Mary, was so friendly and explained everything to us, kept our meal coming on time and addressed every request we had- awesome!

Dee’s has amazing food and even more amazing service! I’m never disappointed when I come by. My waitress Mary catered to every need and provided great recommendations with a warm smile. And the seafood skewer Greek inspired special was different and delicious.

Had 2 pasta dishes both were cold and expensive for the portion size also staff doesn’t seem organized or aware of stock.this side of Metropolitan seems to be going downhill

Had another amazing dinner at Dee’s with my family last night. Our server Jerry was very attentive and an amazing server! The shrimp cocktail special was incredible and so was the chicken parm. The best place in Queens, if you haven’t been you need to go!

Always a pleasure. Food is amazing, the cavatappi is a must-have. Service is always superb. Liton is always a familiar face that graces our visits.

Kayla was absolutely amazing. She was super friendly, gave delicious recommendations and checked in on us several times. She even gave travel recommendations - 100% would come again to hang out with her again.

Where do I even begin. I have been with my now fiancé for over 5 years and Dees has a special place in our hearts. Every conversation every moment we shared together every decision we ever made we did it in that establishment. Now I’m in the business and the food is always good at dees but what makes them special is the way they are lead to deliver a incredible experience each every time you go there. A few people I’d like to shout out. Leyna who has been there for a extremely long time is by far one of the nicest and most hardworking humble human soul Iv ever come across. She always put the customer first and there has been times where Iv seen customers be rude to her for no reason and I have to remind my self that I am not the boss there but I am a regular so I should step in and make sure she gets treated good because she is so kind and has always been there to make our experience incredible. Next I had a experience with a young gentleman named Shane. He’s newer to the team but he really went above and beyond for my family
On my dads birthday and my family came from Deer Park and love eating at Dees now. Finally I must mention Sean who is the leader of this establishment. Being someone in the business and doing this for a living I must give credit where it’s due and your ability to connect with the customer and your team is why dees is so respected and why I will always come back. I commend you for always making sure that my guest and I from a awesome birthday party to a regular Friday night experience was incredible each and every time. I would like to thank Sean and the entire staff at Dees for being the most consistent experience in the most inconsistent world and i will continue to be a loyal costumer and thank you all for the hard work you do each and everyday.

Ordered Dee's salad and a focaccia with Fontina cheese for delivery. Both were absolutely delicious!

Dee's is a fabulous restaurant. Food is DELICIOUS. Service is great nice selection on menu. Very attractive inside. Definitely going back would recommend to everyone

Great food and service. Had the best waiter! Dimitri was very attentive and very funny. Told him early in the night that we were celebrating my fiancées birthday, when the time came for dessert and when my fiancées cake came out he had his name written out, we never told Dimitri his name and when we mentioned it, he said I listen and heard it. So he took it upon himself to do that! Great Great attention to detail!

Absolutely wonderful experience. It was my first time going to Dee’s and definitely won’t be my last. My boyfriend took me here for a pre-movie dinner and neither of us left disappointed (or hungry, that’s for sure! Such good portions!). Our server Leyna was a gem and so kind and attentive. I told my parents we’ll have to make a family trip back here together because of how pleased I was.

Absolutely love Dee’s. The restaurant is beautiful, the food is incredible but what makes it very special is the people. We have had the pleasure of meeting Dimitri and Liton there who are incredible and so kind. Thank you both for taking such good care of us every time we come in.

The food is absolutely phenomenal! My friend and I love coming here, and absolutely adore the staff. Every time we come here we are greeted with nothing but kindness from the staff, especially by Lito, Olivia, and Leyna. Genuinely the kindest souls! The restaurant is beautiful and the ambience was great. The staff were very friendly and gave me a recommendation. I had the chicken milanese and it was extremely refreshing with the salad and burratta. The milanese was huge and was cooked to perfection, and it was very crispy as well. I am very pleased and will definitely return.

Lovely restaurant with great food (mainly the steak frites and lamb chop specials) there's something for everyone and the staff are great. Lito is the best. Always attentive and friendly. Also get the chocolate chip cookies, absolute favourite dessert.

We live on the neighborhood and have been going to Dee's for the close to 18 yrs we've been in Forest Hills. Great atmosphere through each renovation. I started using Dee's for my company's annual celebration probably in 2008 minus COVID 2020/21. My staff and contractors schlep from all of the boros to join the festivities. Staff welcoming, attentive, and accommodating. Dee has created a gem in FH!
