On a recent travel I lost my glasses and needed a new pair of glasses! I walked in and Yadira was able to accommodate my self and my son for an eye exam from start to finish she was very pleasant and knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions! She was also able get my boyfriend who is foreign to any health exams.she explained the importance of having an eye exam and surprisingly was able to convince him to get one done. Overall, great service and would definitely recommend to a friend.

I absolutely was amazed by Monica! She was phenomenal! Very courteous, knowledgeable, efficient, her professionalism & personality outshines her! Absolutely flawless staff, taken care of in a timely manner & great selection of frames! From start to finish this was the absolute best staff & service I’ve ever gotten! I highly recommend them! Edit: after i hit the 45 minute mark i then contacted Costco vision and they answered immediately and gave me a next day appointment. I recommend finding a better place to give your money to than these people.

A dog got hold of my new eyeglasses at a Memorial Day barbecue. I took the bent twisted frame to Visionworks and in a short time they took the lenses which weren’t damaged and installed them into another frame they had which was the same exact style and color. I was thrilled to say the least! Thank you!

Give yourself about two hours to go through the whole process. You won't see a an actual doctor in person. The doctor sees you from a remote location assisted by a technician. They are ridiculously slow. I brought it up to the manager and she was rude, inconsiderate, unapologetic and full of excuses.

Complete joke. Office is so strange and the receptionist makes you feel so awkward just for coming in. You can’t call the office directly, you’ll get re-routed to some random person who’s not in the office. I ran out of contacts and went in to order more, she proceeded to go on a rant about me needing a valid prescription- without even checking her system. (I was just there a couple months ago!) You’ll see a teledoc and the appointment takes forever. I’ll definitely be switching practices.

Visited Davis Visionworks Medford office 12/23/22. Dr. Nanette Strirpe took extra time and my prescription is perfect. Chosen frames were fitted comfortably by Joshuah. Complete with extra soft nose pads. This fitting happened within 15 minutes of walking in 2/11/21. One week from my initial exam. The offices and waiting room was very clean and people spaced out. Nasty, rude receptionist who couldn’t bother to look up from her phone to greet anyone when they walked in or even pick up the phone. And don’t believe the website walk ins are definitely not welcome, you’re barely welcome with an appointment. I’ll be going to SightMD instead.

The customer service is not good at all. I also had to keep calling and no one would pick up the phone but I will say the assistant manager Monica helped me today after two weeks of no help she was very helpful and pleasant.

Terrible place to come. The receptionist are so mean since you come in. The do not provide even a decent customer service. If you come with a prescription they would make you wait forever. If you make an appt to have the prescription taken here, they would postpone it. They have no respect for your time

To contact this company is a joke. Artificial intelligence is worthless. I will have to go to the store in person to speak to a human to find out if my and my wife's glasses are ready. It has been over 3 weeks, and Davis Visionworks never contacted us.

The exams at my location are done remotely meaning you sit in front of cameras that are being viewed by a “doctor” siting in his/her living room. Some appts are for a doctor on site. They don’t tell you which one you are getting though.

I told them I had insurance but not the insurance information and ended up losing $300-$400 because of their incompetency. They should have known what to do especially since I had Davis Vision insurance but they didn't care, especially the blonde optician who rung me up, much to my dismay. The optician treated the purchase like it was out of pocket and ordered the wrong pair of sunglasses; extremely incompetent blonde woman employee, stay clear of her, though the lean, meek man that works there is really good and really nice.

Additionally, very long wait times and when you call, half the time you can't get through and get re-routed to Visionworks HQ which is not useful if you're trying to get to specific staff members (same with being put on hold too long). While the selection is bigger than in Patchogue, it might not be worth it.

I was sent to this place because of my insurance. The workers are very rude they could not find my insurance information and were no help. After being on the phone with my insurance company I had confirmed I am in fact insured and that is the recommended office. Workers were no help. Long story short I never got an eye exam and was forced to go to Walmart and pay out of pocket.

Very unprofessional business. Everything is an up-charge. To speak with the doctor regarding your eye exam they charge an extra $19.99! Even though my vision plan cove sunglasses, they charge $75 extra for polarized lenses. I felt like I was at a used car dealership. Go elsewhere.

This place is just awful! It’s filthy! ALWAYS leaves and garbage all over the showroom floor! The associates are rude! The wait time is horrendous! Even if no one is in the waiting room you’re in for a long wait regardless. The associates are rude and not helpful whatsoever. They don’t know their jobs! Several times they lost my contacts and glasses! If it wasn’t for my insurance I would not come here EVER! If I could give a negative zero I would! Please if you’re not bound by your insurance find another appropriate facility that is clean and actually values your business! I would never ever recommend this dump!

I scheduled my eye exam at random, just looking for places that accepted my insurance. During my appointment I was wowed by two hardworking, professional, and kind individuals. Monica and Yarida are absolutely amazing. Yarida was so attentive and informative during my exam, telling me everything that was happening every step of the way. She is incredibly knowledgeable and so sweet! Monica was extremely attentive, sweet, and so friendly. She triple checked my insurance coverage so I wouldn't be surprised by an out of pocket expense. I didn't expect to enjoy myself at an eye exam, but because of Monica and Yarida I did! Thank you so much for your service:)

This place is a mess you’re better off going to a different place for your eye care. The place is always crowded, one person at the desk and is rude and when you ask for help will just push you away or not give you straight answers. No sanitation with the glasses either

Only enforcing masks indoors. No other sanitary precautions were taken. Kids were trying on every pair of glasses without any sterilization after putting them on. Appointment? What's that, waited over 30 minutes after my appointment. Doctor? Nah, a digital doctor from the comfort of their own home. There was never a mention of no doctor being on premise until I got here. Had to reschedule after sitting there after all.

Scheduled an appointment for my husband and I 2 weeks ago. They texted me everyday about my upcoming appointment. Also emailed me to fill out forms. They texted instructions to wear a mask to the store, bring our prescription if we went somewhere else last time. When we get there they said we had a teledoc appointment. He said sometimes if you schedule online and they have too many scheduled they automatically change it to teledoc? They texted me an hour before to tell me they are looking forward to seeing us! This is ridiculous, thats why they have bad reviews! Actually asked if we wanted to reschedule this is a joke!

My wife and I both had exam appointments
She went in pretty much right away
Meanwhile I was sitting there and sitting there watching people come in after me and going in and out but I wasnt called I was patiently waiting but after 45 mins I decided to split.
Im a paying customet and I can take my business anywhere. I see no reason for anyone to go to that location with their business
I usually dont leave bad reviews for
anyone but after reading some of the other reviews this store has, this place warrants one

Great and easy process. Very Friendly staff although I can’t remember the name of the woman helping me with pre exams she made me feel very comfortable by talking to me about our first jobs at Baskin Robbins. After my exam, Joshua was very welcoming to help me with my insurance coverage and assisting me with my frames. He made the process very easy for me. First time going to the eye doctor without a parent since I just turned 21 and it couldn’t have went easier.

I usually go to Centereach but was going to try to give Medford a try since it is closer to my job. After incessant appoint reminders (even 6: 45 in the morning today), they called 40 minutes before my appointment to cancel because the TELEHEALTH person called in sick.what? That is ridiculous, they don't even have a eye Dr.on site? I will never give them a chance again.

I came here for exam, contacts and glasses after going to Centereach location and having a bad experience. The Medford location was great. The exam with Ms Moreno was very comfortable. She was a professional. Then dealing with Kristin for materials was a delight. She was friendly, patient and very helpful. I will be coming back to Medford for my optical needs in the future!

Staff is nice but the wait is crazy. My daughter had a 4: 20pm appt. People came and went and she finally got called at 5: 55pm. Making an appointment really doesn’t mean much. A bit messed up to see people come in after you and be seen while you still wait. She just needed a contact check and to pick up her glasses. She was done in 4 min. Smh

My review of this Medford, N. Y.location is specifically about one of their employees who took the extra step to resolve my problem Ms. Dayanara Torres. About a month ago I cracked my frames and took them in to see about it being repaired. The store manager took the glasses, my name and number and said he would call me later that day. The call never came.luckily a had a second pair. A week later I went to check on the status of my glasses. Lo and behold Dayanara found my glasses sitting on the counter with my name and number inside the glasses case right where the manager left it since last week! I asked why didn't the manager or someone call me. She didn't have an answer but did apologize. She took the time to investigate what happened and how to resolve the issue. She informed me the frames had to be ordered from another store and this would take a few days. Another week and a half goes by and I return to the store again. Now I have a contact person who knows what is going on. I speak to Dayanara and at no fault of hers the delivery never made it to her store. She apologized again, assured me she would take care of it. 3 days later she called me personally to tell me the glasses were ready for pickup. Thank you Dayanara Torres

Horrible experience.first of all, the two front receptionists are rude. I had an appointment at 3 pm and I waited while they took people who had appointments after me/walked in after me. 40 minutes later I canceled and walked out without ever getting called in the back for my SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT.most unprofessional disgusting place i’ve ever been to.who knew it would be hard for someone to do a simple job like sending out a prescription lol please hire more competent people

The people who work here are great but, any company with terrible customer support gets a 1 star from me. You try to call the store and, get a robot. They then transfer you to "the right agent" witch is another robot. Then you have to wait on hold for a second time. Just give is a choice to do what most people are trying to do. Contact someone at the store.

Don’t let the weird looking guy, who sits in the front of the store by the women’s side, take your order. I made it very clear to him to use my new prescription and he still put an order in for my old prescription. That guy doesn’t know what he’s doing. Other than that the store is fine.

Horrible service on every visit, wait well over an hour every time I make an appointment with them and arrive on time. I'm currently on hold rn and have been for the last half hour, and I was on hold for an hour yesterday before I said screw it and hung up. I will be finding a new eye doctor as soon as I get my new glasses from them.

I first went to Lenscrafters in Lake Grove and learned that they did not except my Health Insurance. I paid $169.00 for an eye exam for Glasses. I picked out a frame that I liked and with lenses was over $600.00 for 1 pair. I decided to wait and try Davis Visionworks in Medford and I am glad that I did. I found out they would have taken my insurance so the eye exam would have been free. Also my insurance paid 100% of 1 pair of glasses and they had a special that if I bought a second pair it was 50% off. SO I ended up with 2 pair of glasses of the same quality for less than $500.00. They said would take around 2 weeks. In less than a week the first pair was in. I was supposed to have an appointment to be fitted but they were extremely nice and fitted me anyway. That pair wasn't fitted properly and wearing them was giving me a headache. So the next day I received another text that the second pair was in. I went there after work and again they were kind and let me wait to get fitted again. This time there was a gentleman there Joe Fisher. I have to say that I have never had a better fitting pair of glasses in my entire life that fitted as snug as Joe Fisher made them fit. He took around 20 minutes or so and adjusted every part of my glasses to the point where it felt like this pair was made only for me. When I put them on it's like they just snap right into place and fit perfectly. If you need your glasses adjusted Joe Fisher is the guy to get the job done with perfection. Many Kudos to that man.

Doctors are very good, quick and thorough but the customer service is dismal, its hit or miss if they are nice and good luck getting them on the phone spent over an hour trying to get ahold of them on multiple occasions.

Attempted to cancel an appointment. No one answering phones, on hold half hour. Unsure why, don't see any activity every time I pass by location. This kind of makes me uneasy if personnel cannot keep up. This prompted me to read online customer ratings-guess I won't reschedule. If any responsible employee reads this->I'm not able to keep my 3: 20 Saturday 08 15 2020 appointment.

So first off, I had an eye exam last year and it was not time to renew my glasses unless my vision changed. Which it did and the person helping me refused to call my insurance to request coverage for new lenses.
Now come to present time. I have an appointment tomorrow and I can no longer make it and I’ve been calling all day. On hold for ever. I got an answer and it was then hung up before I could even get a word out. They called me today to ask a question about my appointment and I called back within 15 seconds no under exaggeration, and I am currently on home at 40 minutes. Now, I get offices can be busy, but they are seeing limited consumers at a time because of the pandemic, so I don’t see why they can’t answer.
I also asked the lady on the phone when I initially made the appointment if my insurance would cover it and she said I don’t know it depends and would not give me a further answer.

Worst VisionWorks location. Had exam appointment and when I arrived claimed they had no doctor to do exam. Then manager argued with me over lens coverage I was told I had and caused a scene in the store. Stated that her employe was wrong! They treat customers horribly and claim “were under a lot of stress because we only have 2 people working in the store” and said “life has changed, get with it”. Goto any other location until they change management!

EXCELLENT job during this pandemic. Chairs spaced 6 ft.apart, only a few customers at a time, staff all wearing masks and gloves, hand sanitizer provided.

Went in 5/30/20 11am appointment for DMV eye check and the receptionist was extremely rude, she seemed to not like working for customer service. This was my first and will be my last experience with this place.

They were great! I have never had glasses before and they made it so easy, nice lady at the front desk called my insurance for me and got my member id# when I didn’t have it and the doctor was super nice and made me feel comfortable then told me exactly what I needed. Then Monica fitted me for my frames and was just absolutely amazing and SUPER sweet. Every person in there was so nice and helpful. I was a walk in and was in and out in about an hour, great service!

I'm being generous by giving three stars I brought a pair of glasses from you guys today I asked for a cleaning cloth and was told no I have to purchase one it's a cloth that comes with the glasses for free. I will not be doing business with you guys ever again.

I went to pick up my glasses today after a 2 week wait they were not the correct frames. When I looked at them I said they were wrong frames. They acted like it was my fault. Did not get an apology. Now I have to wait another 2 weeks. I will never use them again.

Went here last week for a set of Bifocal sunglasses. Dr Marino gave me a very through exam to be sure my prescription is correct. She was professional and very pleasant and easy to talk to. I then had the pleasure of working with their technician Monica Romero. Monica listened to my needs. I wanted these bifocal sunglasses for driving, with the lower to be able to read the dash and the upper for distance viewing through the windshield. I took her recommendations for the material and glare coating on the inside of the glasses. I just got them today. Wow! Perfect. Monica was able to place the horizontal divide line in just the right place and the doctor got the prescription dead on. Nice job! And all within by budget.

I received my three pairs of glasses two days earlier than promised. They were fitted by Dr. Jeffrey Blum, who absolutely wrote a perfect prescription for all three pairs. The entire process was done superbly, and I am very happy.

I had a very positive experiance at the Visionworks at this location. The opticians here are super friendly and sincere in making sure all my frame and lens options were explained and after my glasses came in they made sure the fit was perfect.

The people here are so amazingly nice and helpful. I had been going somewhere else previously and only came here due to my insurance. I am so happy I did. I received great service and was able to get a pair of sunglasses as well as regular glasses due to a special they were having. I've received multiple compliments on both pairs and have had no problems with either pair. I did need to have my sunglasses tightened & was able to go in & have that done, with no questions asked. Everyone is friendly, personable and the exam was thorough. The doctors are familiar with ailments that not all opticians are familiar with and I feel very happy & comfortable coming here. Best of all, I can see perfectly now!
