I walked-in to David’s Barbershop on a Friday afternoon while visiting from out of town and received an exceptional haircut from Rafael in chair 1. He took extra care to ensure I got exactly what I wanted. From the moment I sat in his chair, it was evident that he was an experienced barber (20 years of experience, to be exact) and that he is dedicated to his craft.
I get an undercut with a 0 on the sides and the top left long, the side of my natural part is disconnected, while I typically get the opposite side faded. The 0 was a true 0 down to the skin, the lines along my forehead and neck were straight and clean, and the fade on the side opposite to my natural fade turned out exceptionally.
Best of all, I greatly enjoyed my conversation with Rafael and was very impressed to learn that he speaks 5 languages! Haircuts at David’s are $30 cash, which in my experience is very competitive in most major cities. There is an ATM located inside of the shop for customers convenience. I would enthusiastically recommend David’s Barbershop and Rafael to anybody in Brooklyn looking to get an exceptional cut and an old school barbershop experience, at a fair price.
