HORRIBLE delivery service is horrible waiting to speak to the pharmacy wait time is over 1 hour and when someone answers they are NOT polite

Rude and condescending pharmacy staff. Recommend using local neighborhood pharmacy so you don’t feel worse trying to get medicine.

I understand it’s a CVS and none of them are winning awards for their hospitality anytime soon. But at the very least, I expect a respectful tone of voice when talking to people. The people who work here are unhappy and it shows. I feel sorry for them.

You’d be hard pressed to find a better pharmacy than this one. The pharmacy staff here take great care of people.

Seeing all the other negative reviews of the pharmacy is not surprising. Pharmacist Karli Doran was rude, condescending, entirely unhelpful, only suggesting "call corporate". No attempt at a solution or any other idea to help a customer get vaccinated. Truly a miserable place with some absolutely miserable employees. Going elsewhere.

So here is what I find unbelievable about this place. With people complaining that their prescription isn't ready or long lines at the counter, I have never seen a staff of pharmacists so dedicated to saving customers $$$

Just last week I was waiting in line only to overhear one of their amazing pharma-techs (Maria) telling a customer that her $400 medication was not covered by insurance, but Maria took about 10 minutes to find coupons that saved the woman $300. As if that wasn't enough, the pharmacy manager - I think her name is Karli - found an additional $60 of savings - so the customer was saving $360 that I am sure Duane Reade would have gladly taken

The fact that these 2 were competing to see who could save this customer the most money was both unconventional and refreshing all at the same time, and it's why I won't go anywhere else for my pharmacy needs

Jaquell is amazing I had to ask for his name just to credit him here. I live nearby and he always asks everyone if they need help.

Team member name LUCKY is great! She is very attentive and always gives awesome customer service!

Customer service is a must on my daily agenda with the people that love my pictures.
But this is the worse CVS hands down. Lots of pictures are damaged with staples marks, nail marks from the person who handles them. And then they stack up 20 pictures in one envelope. And then they give you bad service if you ask for more red evenlopes to separate each picture. One manager told a staff member to give me five more cards because she didn't have time for my request. I visit many other CVS and my pictures are individually separated in each card. Since is part of the deal. I would not buy or do much business with this location, I rather go to the neighbors and buy the rest of my needs regardless of cost. This CVS is like those CVS in Harlem that customer service doesn't exist.
Use your map and avoid this CVS.

Avoid this pharmacy and go to a mom and pop shop where you will be able to get the medications you need. You will wait on hold for hours and then get hung up on. Won’t be able to get a manager either. Don’t waste your time or money.

The worst pharmacy service you can get! Unfortunately, this is the only pharmacy close by. I was trying to get my meds for days. They are not nice, and not helpful to check on other stores! The pharmacy staff was so disrespectful and reckless about the patient's health. That was my third visit in a row. The staff continues with the same attitude or worse.

Natasha was amazing help finding things for me in the first aid aisle. She deserves a Christmas promotion employee of the month.

Absolute best pharmacy in the City full of amazing kind patient people. I give them and CVS my highest rating of appreciation. Thank you CVS for hiring such amazing people.

It’s great that there’s a 24 hour place here. The store is usually kind of chaotic, and its awkward layout can make finding what you’re looking for a challenge. I don’t like that you have no choice but to use the self-checkout.

Only reason Im giving it one star is because i cant give it 0 stars. Be ready to wait 50 minutes for a prescription.

The pharmacy is downright atrocious. Long lines, and pharmacists that don't follow up with doctors or follow instructions. And don't try calling to get an answer to any questions.

Otherwise, the store is a regular CVS. The staff on the floor is helpful and always ask if you need help.

The worst cvs ever! First when I came to pick my prescription they said to wait about 15 min. Then after 20 minutes of wait they said another 25 minutes. After the time passed I went back to pick my medication and they said another 20 minutes! Are you guys kidding? I am waiting with my back pain for over an hour and you’re saying another 20 minutes! This is so disrespectful for your customers! I should’ve read the reviews before I put this cvs at my doctors office. I’ll definitely change it and never come back to this cvs cause this is such a disaster!

Worst service and worst persons works here.
I Cross the city to get antibiotics for infection that causing me a lot of pain.
Got here by 13: 20 and they close at 13: 30
Pharmacy: They did not except me. I begged and they just said “No”.
The manager actually laughed and was happy to tell me I need to wait until 14: 00 when they will open again. She said it with so much joy. I will never never shop at CVS no more.

I can never reach pharmacy staff to confirm prescriptions or if I'm having an issue. I've also had multiple complaints from others about poor service. I've also personally had poor service at CVS in general

Do not send your prescriptions here. Every time I go here there are arguments between customers and staff because they lost a prescription. My doctors won't even send scripts here anymore. Walk the extra block or 2 to a different CVS. It's worth it.

Waited on hold (pharm section) for literally over 3 hours and my call was answered and then promptly hung up on. Absolutely insane that that this is the behavior exhibited by employees of a national practice whose purpose is getting life saving medication to those who desperately need it. This is easily the worst "pharmacy" in Hells Kitchen. Id give anything to have my local pharmacy back instead of this soulless silhouette of a pharmacy that doesn't care about their customers in any way. Its a complete joke. Avoid at all costs!

I went to this CVS this morning and it’s TOTALLY a nightmare. The pharmacist gave me the wrong prescription, and we checked together my pick up history in the system for 10 mins and wasted me another 10 mins to wait. Meanwhile, I tried to save time to purchase a knee support in the locked shelf but can’t find any sales associate nearby. Went to the entrance, find one sales associate and she agreed to “ send someone there to help you”.

That’s how the real drama begin.

As a New Yorker I walked very quick. I walked back to the shelf and wait for another 3 mins, then nobody comes. Looking around, there is an African American lady with 5’7 height standing there staring me back in the corner of another shelf. I kindly asked whether she is the helper cuz she wears a uniform in different color, and she started yelling at me-
“Jesus! It’s you? I’ve standing here for mins and you just walked by? Are you kidding me? “

I was shocked but still told her I meant the shelf for ankle support supplies and I need one product from it, she did, with endless murmur in her mouth repeating “ oh my gosh, I can’t believe it” in a sarcastic way.

I was shocked, sad and can’t believe it. Last month I just interviewed CVS health as a data consultant and I am now truly grateful I did not continue to interview. The rudeness and careless attitude those employee have in the store is next level intolerable. I came there to pick up my medicine and expect a shopping experience all in one place since CVS is famous for its diverse products, however I left with anger.

After checking with the front desk, the woman who was rude to me is named as NICKIA and she is MANAGER of the store. To all the mid town folks who will go to this CVS, watch out there.

Good location and it always does what it needs to do!

Placed an online CVSPhoto Order for Same-Day Pickup and it was ready in an hour (your mileage may vary), even though I was quoted for a longer pickup time online.

The Photo counter wasn’t staffed but there were plenty of helpful associates that sent someone over as soon as I asked.

My document was in a secure and sturdy folder and I paid easily at self-checkout.

Incredibly rude pharmacy staff. Only took 10 minutes to speak with someone, which is a win for CVS, but terrible customer service skills and manners. When you ask a question they’re dead silent and expect you to realize they need a minute. Can you now say sure just a moment? ! And to find the prescription say okay and? ! Disgusting that you speak to someone on the phone like that. Pathetic excuse of a pharmacy.

Callous heartless pharmacists can look at you in the face while they r discussing their own problems and simply not care that u are in pain, begging for my medication they said would be ready in 30 min I am standing here and it's past 2 hours and they are discussing personal hygiene matters. No delivery, and they don't care about people just a little factory. I will be leaving this place

Still can’t get sick between 130 and 2 o’clock at CVS 10th Ave. I spoke to a representative of Cvs and I asked her what happens if you really sick between 130 to 230 and you need the medication. She just kind of shrugged her shoulders and said you have to wait.

I could think of so many reasons not to shop or pick up prescription at this location. Employees have airpods in at all times, follow you around even though they look like they have not showered in a week, and treat you with disrespect. Avoid this location at all costs.

It's true. They lose prescriptions all the time and have no care or desire to help you figure out the problem.

DO NO SEND PRESCRIPTIONS HERE! They literally never pick up the phone at the pharmacy. I am literally writing this while I wait over 45 mins on the phone to have my meds delivered all because they DELIVERED THE WRONG MEDS TO ME YESTERDAY… That is horrible. Then someone got on the phone with the personality of a door knob and never came back on and left me on hold… Hate this CVS. Please listen to this review it will save u a wait.

The pharmacy cashier has no pleasant customer service skills. It is sad and very stressful to be attended by such unprofessional person with an attitude and clearly she doesn’t like to treat customers with the deserved respect and this is not the first time. You feel you need to be on a defense mode when going there to pick your Rx. I will definitely change this pharmacy to another location or home delivery until this person is not there anymore.

Honestly I don’t know it has such a bad rating. I’ve been here over 15 times and everyone is super professional. Even when they’re clearly short-staffed, they make a point to be polite and helpful!

Worst experience of my life working here. Everything about this place sucks. Horrible schedule, bosses who act like teenagers, super low pay. Place was and still is depressing. Getting let go was arguably the best thing that ever happened to me. Paid off immensely now earning almost double my hourly pay. Take my advice, don’t work here.

This location is very tight and very uninviting. The customer service is non existent. But it's located on an avenue if you need something quick in the area.

The "S" at this CVS does not stand for "Service. " Medication is never ready when it is supposed to be. I lost a month of meds this year to their BS delays. So do they care or fix the issue? Hell no. Remember, the "S" does not stand for "Service. "

It is now Nov 26, and I am back on the phone for an hour with CVS vaccine hot line for problems with vaccine records. Nothing changes. The representatative is trying to contact the store for an hour and they do not pick up the phone. After she will put me through to customer relations where I will continue to have my file updated without any results. DO NOT GO TO THIS PHARMACY. NOW BACK TO MY ORRIGINAL WRITE UP: I went to CVS for my Covid Booster on Aug 29,2021. Made appointment on line. Did not have my card but had my Excelsior pass. The pharmacist refused to give me a new card as he should have. When I didn't receive an email a within a few days I started to try to trace my record. After 2 weeks of calling and waiting hours on hold, I finally reached someone who was able to start a case file and provide a vacination card, although my name was not quite complete on the card. I now have searched my Citywide Immunization Registry and they still have no record of my vaccination. Again today I called corporate to report that my vacination was not properly recorded. Every time I called the store where I received my vaccine a different pharmacist was temporarily at the site and not the regular pharmacist for the store. I would advise anyone to be very careful before using CVS for vaccination as their record keeping or lack there of has created an enormous problem for me. I wish that I had read the reviews before I went to this store. To quote the others.there should be a no star rating for this store.

I’ve never really had a bad experience at a CVS before. These people, God bless ‘em, were either so stressed out from the volume of people picking up - or just so checked out - that they came off as extremely rude at almost every stage of the pickup. This is an incredibly hard process to mess up. They really went for it.

When CVS arrived to my neighborhood, I thought it was very impersonal thus avoided doing any type of purchases. But the convenient location soon won me over as a customer and today Johanna was very helpful in walking me through the steps of printing photos from my Android phone. Yet, I still needed assistance thus I asked a gentleman-name Jesse and what a wonderful, humane and mindful
experience. It is people like Johanna and Jesse who make a difference in a business and Jesse's humble, respectful, patient and thoughtful attitude make a significant difference in the world. Thank you Jesse for the express lesson on how to print photos from my Android phone.

Love this location at 500 West 42nd Street.great customer service, constant sale items, well-stocked, and convenient hours. Also, I love their pharmacy.very helpful staff and always accurate in filling prescriptios. This store is older looking than some places. But, that's a minor thing considering all of their positive points listed above. In contrast, I used to shop and use the pharmacy at Duane Reade. Even though it was a newer and shinier store, their customer service was dismal. And, to get a discount on their points program took forever. At CVS, however, there are sale items and discount coupons every single visit! Their points program is the best! And, the entire staff is always helpful and eager to please. Check them out.

I highly recommend the drug store because the quality of their work was outstanding. I thought all the drugs were new to me. They also provide free delivery of drugs to your house. The pick-up and distribution option was perfect for my variable schedule. Thank you for the most comfortable operation.

Horrible customer service! The girls at checkout have nasty attitudes. I asked the girl to price match an item to the CVS app (which I’ve done before without any problem in other CVS stores) and she refused to do so. I told her to please ask her manager, over the walkie, the manager said “no the price is the price! ” This is not my first bad expressive here neither.

Good location of the store. They have everything, from snacks to drinks to hair care to skin care literally everything you can forget while traveling. Because it is located in front of the Yotel hotel it is a perfect location for a store. Staff members are really friendly and help you with a smile on their face. I really felt comfortable shopping in this store!

HORRIBLE customer service! Pharmacist Anthony Orlando LIES.be careful about having your meds here.he misquoted [READ: lied! ] the law, spoke disparagingly about Duane Reade and was incredibly unprofessional and was dishonest in trying to "cover his tracks. " Then, was very, very aggressive by cancelling my medications, knowing I was going to make a complaint about him. Seriously, worse behavior than my toddler. DO NOT HAVE MEDICATIONS FILLED HERE if you want it to go through fairly smoothly. THEY DO NOT HAVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH THEIR PATIENT'S AT ALL. Good luck!

Commenting about a person’s physical appearance is totally unwarranted and insensitive. If you are that concerned about a persons appearance and weight challenge, you would be better served to offer help if you are qualified than to insult someone and hide behind your comment. You should remove that posting. That would be the dignified action to take. Worry about yourself and how you look.

Mostly courteous friendly helpful some of the staff will help me give me when not feeling well and in a lot of pain or just need assistance question answers some people complain but like anywhere you have your Grumpy's what's the most part over here has been very helpful to me and I thank them

This CVS store has been so helpful since I arrived my first day last Saturday. Today is Wednesday my last day in New York City and every time that I visited this store everyone was so helpful. Providing the best customer service and giving me the right direction. Did not matter if was during the day or night they were there to help me for anything that I was needing. I want to say that they do the best that they can to keep customer satisfaction extremely high. Thank you to everyone at this location for providing me great help. Worst pharmacy, always a problem filling prescriptions, always. Rude stuff. They will always say they don’t have the prescription order after the doctor sent it 3 times.one time had to go 3 times to pick up a prescription cuz they will say is ready over the phone and when I go pick up they will say is not. Horrible service. Long waits when you call they will put you on hold for 10 minutes or hang up on you. Never coming here again

Went in to get a flu shot and the pharmacist insisted I had no active coverage when she looked up my info. Confused, I asked why that might be but she refused to help me troubleshoot the issue, just gave me a look and said I should call my insurance. Thankfully, the pharmacist at a different CVS a few blocks away took the extra moment to help — the info on file from my last visit was not put into the system correctly.

I’ve been shopping at this CVS because it’s the closest drug store so there’s no choice. It’s awful in so many ways! So many items out of stock. Staff is always cranky. The check out scanner is always inaccurate. Every time I have to study it to make sure I’m charged correctly and then argue with the staff to correct it. Tonight I bought buy one get one free vitamins. The scanner did not deduct the free vitamins. The staff person couldn’t understand what I was telling her as though I made up the buy one get one free. I was being overcharged $45. I left and I will never go back there again as she was so rude

Worst CVS, every time I go in they treat me like a criminal. I can't understand why, this is a wealthy neighborhood, I'm dressed professionally. This is why people prefer shopping online.

I called the pharmacy to have my medication delivered because I was sick and unable to pick it up. Spoke with DANIEL who was so rude and disrespectful on the phone. It was a Sunday and couldn’t get my meds delivered (understandable) but he kept saying that I had to pick it up and kept rushing me!

I come here occasionally, and the people here are generally helpful and courteous. Today, I needed help from staff a few times more than usual, and it seems the staff went out of their way to flash giant smiles, make notable eye contact, and wish me a good day at the end of our interactions - totally caught me off guard. The pharmacist even wished me an early birthday. Not sure what is up with the world today, but the trip collectively made my day.

I would rate this Pharmacy five stars, but there never seems to be enough employees for how busy they always are. Still am very appreciative they are in the neighborhood
