Had a great experience today at Crystal Beauty Salon! I was a first time customer and went in for a basic cut. I was blown away by not only how nice everyone there was (including the other customers!) but at how great of a job Alana did. She took the time to listen to what I wanted done and offered her input along the way. She was very detail-oriented, which I very much appreciated. I’m so happy with how my hair turned out, and I will definitely be going back!

Gina saved my hair just in time for my vacation. I have been to so many salons with terrible results and was about to give up. The search is overv. I made an appointment with crystal salon based on the website and reviews and for the first time in 3 yrs was not disappointed. My hair was a rainbow of colors and not in a good way. Gina did a color correction I couldn't be happier with. She is confident in color and knows what she is doing. Boom!

Crystal Beauty Salon is the best! I’ve been going to Alda for 4 years now and she always does amazing and consistent work. Whether I’m there for a haircut, coloring, or a blowout, I always leave the salon happy and eager to come back. The salon is beautiful and clean, and the staff is very professional. I highly recommend Alda to anyone in the Island Park/Oceanside/Long Beach area!

My daughter has been Alda's customer for five years and has never experienced a bad dye job when Alda herself has done it. However, on Thursday, when my daughter went to get her hair highlighted more blonde, the colorist Gina burned her hair, causing breakage and leaving more than 80 scabs and sores on her scalp. They informed my daughter that "beauty is pain" and had her wait another 30 minutes while she sat in misery with the bleach on her head after she complained that it hurt and should be removed. Gina beached her entire head instead of leaving her roots the color she desired (brown which is her natural). And after the bleach was removed it was not even toned. Then, after blowing it out, she billed her $350 for an uneven bleach lift. When she returned to get it fixed, they were rudely accusing her of choosing that color (on her whole head). She sobbed as she left the salon, so I had to go talk to them because they took advantage of a young girl. She didn't feel comfortable after they advised her to cut her hair short and buy a wig because her hair is damaged, so we thankfully went somewhere else to get it restored. Gina is not someone I would advise unless you like "painful beauty. "

Even though the color isn't great, the burning of the scalp caused by the scabs is really uncomfortable.requiring the purchase of (expensive) products to TRY to undo the harm they caused without receiving a refund. When we reach out to discuss a refund of some type we are ignored, very frustrating and unprofessional!

I love it here so much such an amazing atmosphere. Gina is an amazing colorist and I always leave happy. They really make sure all there clients leave with a smile on there face so happy I came here will never let anybody else but Gina ever touch my hair again! They are the best here!

Received a haircut and blow out by Alana. Very professional, clean, and great at what she does. Do not hesitate to book her. I needed a blowout for a wedding I was attending, and with naturally curly hair on a humid day, she worked absolute magic to keep my hair frizz free/glossy for the entire event.

I went to Crystal Hair Salon after a home box dye disaster. I glad I did. After a quick consultation with Gina, they were able to book me for the very next day. Gina is an amazing colorist who went above and beyond to fix my hair. The results came out even better then I could possibly imagine. This salon was highly recommended by my community. After going in for a hair consultation I booked my first appointment right away with Gina. She is a very knowledgable color specialist and the outcome was exactly what I was looking for. She offered her suggestions and was honest about what to expect which exceeded my expectations. The salon itself is super cute and the staff is all very welcoming, friendly and its a great environment for everyone. While I was there an entire family, young and old, came in for haircuts and I was able to see first hand this is a family friendly place with top notch quality products & services!
