Nice spacious store. People are helpful most of the time. Rather pay a bit more to support a local business then the big box stores.

The five stars is actually going out to a worker, I think he said his name is Isaiah. Very tall slim guy. He brought the giant garbage can I bought out to my car in the freezing cold today and stayed out there for 10 minutes while trying to get it to fit in my car. I would have been completely stuck without him! Thanks, dude! You deserve the accolades!

Dont bring ANY screens for windows or doors to this place.taking forever to fix. They took my money right away.thou! They keep saying they are behind on fixing screens.

The employees here absolutely AWESOME. The store manager "Nick" is the BEST. Came from another hardware store very frustrated. Told the workers what I need. And they immediately got everything I needed & Helped me with installation. The Epitome of Customer Service!

Before you purchase in store or online, check out HD or other Ace stores, like Port Washington. This store charges more for a lot of items. As it’s privately owned. If you go online, change the location to Port Washington or a store that isn’t Costello’s, and the price will drop. Terrible business model.

This has to be the worst hardware store I have been too. It's too bad I live in the neighborhood and would like to support this store. But every single time I go there the shelves are empty it is very expensive and the quality of their products do not last. Every single product I have purchased needed to be replace after a year and the plumbing department is non existence the shelves are always empty do they ever restock? You ask for help and end up helping the employee because they have no clue where anything is maybe that is why the shelves are always empty. Go to any other hardware store but here sad to say but ACE will never have what you need and if they do you will pay for it and when a year comes around will have to replace that item again.

Did not have item that was paid for online and confirmed in stock. Refused to offer any compensation in form of gift card for my troubles. They only said it was a computer problem and not their problem. I dont care what went wrong, dont take my money if you don't have the item. I do my best to shop locally but Amazon will be the beneficiary here. Stay away from this place!

I placed an order online. They were good to keep me updated about the order. On day of pick up they came and put my things into the trunk and that was it, all done.

A sales person was friendly and helped me find the item 3was looking for even though I did not know what it was called. I also.had ease picking up the purchase I made online.

They've renovated and expanded a bit. Lots of stuff for your household needs. I think the prices are a little higher but you save the stress of finding a Lowe's or Home Depot. It brings more attention to local community.

Great store culture, very helpful and friendly and knowledgeable staff, like a blast from the past. Wish there were more hardware stores like this in the world!

Wow love this store. MARK the manager knows where every product is. Has trained the entire staff properly. Its never in aisle 3 they always take you their and ask what can we help you with.

Just tried to return Christmas lights my wife purchased here on 11/30 and was told that I can’t return seasonsal products. I am not a huge customer but we come here routinely for odds and ends and all of our Benjamin Moore paints. Needless to say I will never use this store again and will always default to Home Depot, Lowe’s, or Amazon

They have good quality, but make sure you have your money. But I had a very terrible experience when I went there the other day. Someone used the grill inside the store and nobody cleaned it. It was do nasty and disgusting looking at the animal fat and the smell was disgusting, ppl need to know that they need to clean grills.

Ordered items for delivery from this location. Got an email in the morning saying the items are ready for delivery today. After waiting almost an entire day at home, I finally called to ask about the status. They told me the items are out of stock and are not sure if the items will come back in stock. They didn't even call or email me to notify that the items were out of stock and couldn't be delivered. I ended up cancelling the order myself.

This is a five-star review, not a three-star. The only reason for that is because George works there. He's the type of employee bosses love, until they take the boss's job.
I had to get help to cut a key that was broken and that required some manual cutting (I'm a former Ace employee that knows the manual cutter better than most.) He did a perfect job

I like Ace Hardware very much but check the price you are charged at the register with the advertised sales price or the price on the shelf. Many times I have been charged more than I should have. Recently I bought something that was on sale and didn’t get the sales price at this store. I went back and showed them the sale price from their website and was told that was an online price only. Wrong. They charge the same on the website as they do in the store AND the sale price was also listed in the in-store circular (which I didn’t have with me at the time). I went back to the cashier after examining the receipt and she tried to explain away the difference and then I spoke to a manager who incorrectly said it was an online price and not an in-store price. After several minutes of discussion he gave me the actual sales price but apparently he wasn’t happy to do so. After he refunded the difference I thanked him and he walked past me without a word.

Normally very helpful. Today I was refused entry because I did not have a mask. Came home and bought everything on Amazon. I'm not from the computer generation but the staff had hysteria in their eyes. You lost a frequent customer.

Ive been going to this particular Ace since it opened. This store is a blessing to have nearby. The staff and almost unlimited stock are amazing. The pricing is reasonable. And they deliver.

Always handy for " round the house" needs, from light bulbs to Drano. Also, there is a key making service in the back of the store and it is always manned from the store's opening through closing time every day. There's plenty of free parking outside the store.

Good local hardware store. Staff is very helpful. I prefer going here to someplace like home depot where it is difficult to find someone to help you-

I would give a 5th star if you made custom length hoses for machinery, it would be a great addition to the large selection you already have.thanks

Wow, what a difference from the Lake Success store. EVERYONE at this location were super helpful, cheery and all around pleasant (unlike the nasty manager Charlie in L. S.) I'm glad I tried this spot instead of going to the Mega stores.
