Cortlandt Colonial Restaurant & Ballroom

Recently held a meeting there for a community organization. The service was quick, friendly, and accommodating. It's been three years since we held our annual closing meeting before summer due to covid. Our members were happy to return to our usual spot & fellowship with a good meal!

Our Son's wedding was a stunningly beautiful event and Evan (event director) made the entire evening move along seamlessly.
The ceremony took place in the garden, surrounded by waterfall feature & beautiful gardens- a dreamy atmosphere.
Onto cocktail hour with abundant varieties of amazing food & drinks.
The bridal sweet was also abundant with food & drinks.
From the bride & grooms first dance, to our incredibly delicious dinner courses, that guests were raving about, to the cutting of the wedding cake, & the generous, delicious Viennese hour, the guests had a fun, & memorable evening.
Oh and yes, there was a full dance floor full of guests having a blast.
From start to finish, Cortlandt Colonial Manor delivered the best night ever!

My family has been coming here forever. Came up to visit so we decided to come here. Server was friendly but she forgot many drinks and took her a while to get us what we needed. The strip steak wasn’t flavorful at all. I had to drench it in butter to not be dry. I also ordered it medium so it wasn’t over cooked at all either.

You can't go wrong here and you must go for prime rib which is outrageous not to mention to die for chicken parm. No better place for a party

Just had a 50th anniversary party in the Bistro room. Great area for a small private party.
Numerous entrees to choose from. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal.
Food and service were excellent.

Decent food. Wait staff was a little slow. Nice restaurant overall but nothing super impressive

We had a company Holiday party at this venue. The food was mostly good, the atmosphere was inviting and the staff were all accommodating and friendly!

We had my parents 50th anniversary party here tonight. The service and food was perfection. Could not have asked for a better evening.

Thank you for making our son's wedding day wonderfully beautiful. Everything was fantastic. From the entrance to exit! We can't thank you enough.

We attended our friend's wedding. It was beautifully decorated. The outdoor area is breathtaking. The ladies room was beautifully decorated. The food was good. There's plenty of parking.

I truly cannot recommend this venue enough for weddings (and the restaurant is amazing too)! Not only is the location beautiful and affordable, but Evan is an incredibly helpful event coordinator who took our wedding beyond our expectations. Our guests were raving about the amount and quality of the food as well as the pacing of the evening. Evan was available on his cell phone whenever I had any questions no matter how big or small. He was the most attentive maitre d’ on the day of the wedding and made sure everything went smoothly for us. My husband and I are so grateful for Evan and the Cortlandt Colonial!

The place os very nice and lots of room. I gave it 4 stars for the food because i have the salmon and it was dry. Other than that the staff was always on point and very professional.

Good overall experience. They don’t have everything on the menu, but these are interesting times we are living in with supply chain issues, so I understand….

We were attending a wedding reception on the 29th. Unending appetizers, delicious choice of 3 entrees, plates of mini desserts, and even make your own s'mores at the outdoor fire pit. The cherries jubilee display was awe inspiring, and the apple cider warm donuts were a nice touch while we waited for the shuttle to bring us back to our hotels. The music and dancing was fun and had EVERYONE dancing including several 90+ yr olds along with our 16yr old great nephew. Everyone was awesome, doing everything to make us all comfortable and to meet all of our needs. 5 stars in my opinion.

I attended a small wedding here and it was nicely appointed including an outdoor area out back. The staff were able to turn over the rooms quickly and served a three course meal with hors d'oeuvre during cocktails before and dessert tables after. All the food was delicious.

Phenomenal experience. Had our wedding there on the 9th, and everything was amazing from the cocktail hour to the very end. Great venue and staff. Highly recommended!

My group of 5 were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was!
We ordered the crispy cauliflower tots, crispy string beans, garlic shrimp crostini, chicken arrabiatta & my personal favorite, beet salad. We had them put it all in the middle and we got to taste all of them. So delicious and hearty sizes.
Next we went into ballroom for an annual shareholders meeting. Very pretty decor and great service!
Evan was very hospitable as was Michelle, our server in the ballroom. We forgot our dinner servers name (so sorry about that) but she was very, very nice as well

I attended my nephew's wedding there last weekend. It was really lovely venue. Getting there from the city was fairly easy 2.

Was a guest here at a wedding recently. Smaller venue. I was surprised how nice the outside area of ballroom was. Beautiful arrangers outside. Beautiful scenery for photos including a small waterfall, lots of flowers, and a high cliffs background. Food was delicious as well. Steak was cooked to order and was very good. Chicken cordon Blu was selected as th3 chicken entree and was one of the best chicken served at a wedding that I can recall. Fantastic venue, service, and food. Highly recommend.

The lobster fest for the month of August is amazing and the prices are fantastic! Don't walk, run, and make sure you make a reservation!

Worst chicken parmesan I ever had. The chicken was tough and the sauce was watery. Pretty sure it was heated up in a microwave.

I recently attended a wedding here.and while I'm biased as to the beauty of the ceremony itself.this venue definitely contributed. Gorgeous architecture, superb lighting, spacious areas.friendly staff (I'd met hired for event and actual employees and can't differentiate between).

Again, I'm biased due to the external factors of me visiting this place.but it still deserves 5 stars.

Went for Father's day brunch. It was OK. They were short staffed. The staff that was there did their best.

I attended a wedding reception. The food during cocktail hour was good but cold. The dinner was very nicely cooked. I had salmon which was light, tender and flakey. The decor was fine. The semi enclosed outdoor space was lovely with the natural waterfall so beautiful to look at. It was a chilly day so I didnt spend much time in the outdoor area. They did have a fire pit and roasted s'mores at the end of the evening. The staff worked hard and were very friendly.

Excellent catering venue and restaurant. They are only open for dinner and catered events. Pricing and flexibility are amazing in the current environment.

My husband and I went to a wedding April 30th. EVERYTHING was fabulous, from the food to the service. The outdoor area where the cocktail was had a waterfall that was so beautiful and relaxing. I would highly recommend this venue.

Evan and his staff orchestrated with skilled precision an awesome wedding complete with over 30+ items at the cocktail hour and trays of extras for dinner. What a great time had by all.

They were very good, I booked a buffet brunch for 50 people, my mother-in-law passed away
