Complete Small Engine Repair

I'm glad I didn't listen to some of the bad reviews. My mower wouldn't start so I dropped it off and Bob was completely honest with me by letting me know that he could do the repairs but it would be wiser to just buy a new mower. He could of said nothing and just did the work and charged me. He was Honest and Polite.

Was weary of coming here because of some of the reviews, but went anyway, and had a great experience. Bob was really helpful, friendly, and got back to me exactly when he said he would. I feel I got honest service and a fair price.

Nasty shop and nasty people—do yourself a favor and stay away! If you’re still thinking of doing business here despite this warning, please look at all the bad reviews. They are accurate. Note the adjectives that customers use to describe the people who work here—“arrogant, ” “rude. ” How true. Being a Bohemia resident, I thought I would support a local business, so I went here for help with a weed-eater. The boorish, obnoxious owner stopped me before I even entered the store and told me not to bring my weed-eater inside. REALLY? !? It’s supposed to be a small-engine repair shop! What a rotten way to treat a prospective customer. I turned around and walked away, never to return. What was most appalling was this man’s surly manner. I will never forget the arrogance in his voice, the contempt on his face, the stench of his condescension. When you see numerous 1-star ratings for a business, accompanied by angry reviews, that tells you something. When customers warn you about a terrible experience, listen to them. When shop owners reveal that they are miserable human beings, believe them.

Contacted Bob on a Thursday regarding a snowblower that wouldn't start. In the past, they have picked up and dropped off my snowblower and generator after repairing and tuning up both, which is very convenient. Bob is extremely patient and answers ALL of my questions. Originally, the snowblower wouldn't be ready until the following Thursday or Friday, but he had it dropped off at my house the Tuesday after picking it up. Fairly priced, would recommend.

Wouldn’t repair the lawn mower because the handle was taken off just to see what was wrong with it… horrible communication.

I was referred to Bob by a neighbor. Looked at the reviews and was apprehensive to call b/c of some of the comments here. I called anyway and found Bob to be very friendly, fun to talk to and knowledgeable (I knew what was wrong with my riding mower before I called). No problems or issues at all. Would recommend him without hesitation.

I would absolutely recommend Complete. I used them recently for my sons mini bike engine. Bob went above and beyond my expectations. They are honest and knowledgeable in their profession. Great business.
