Went for some hair grooming creme.maybe second time in store.early morning no customers.asked for product from male sales person.that pointed direction of shelves. I looked and looked and could not find.sales person never helped me, he just stood there looking outside with his perfectly shaped eyebrows and hair. Young sales people don't care. Just care about looking at their phones. And when you ask thanks for not helping me they get offended. I purchased item from Amazon.good job Bigelow's.

Bigelow Chemists was operating before there were any large chain store drug stores! Im guessing that C. O. Bigelow’s has been in business for possibly two hundred years. I just checked and it is actually the oldest drug store in NYC! And it has EVERYTHING you coukd possibly want!

I absolutely love their line of products! I was first introduced to them many years ago at Bath & Body Works. The Mentha Vitamin Body Wash and Lemon Hand Wash were the only items I would ever buy from that store. They could never keep it in stock so I started ordering them online directly from the source. Unfortunately, they have temporarily discontinued my favorite body wash for at least a year (maybe more). It kind of forced me to check out more of their body washes. So far, my favorite scents have been musk, eucalyptus, and bay rum. They've been good replacements. Also, the Lotio Mentholus is great for dry skin. It's soothing and relaxing, and has a great scent.

I've never actually visited the store in NYC, but I wish they would branch out. I'd definitely seek it out if I ever go back to New York. They appear to have more products than what I've seen online. The ones I've tried are always reliable and have withstood the test of time. They are very gentle on sensitive skin. Their fragrances are relaxing. I'll continue to order them from their online store. I also hope they bring back my favorite Mentha Vitamin Body Wash soon. It has certainly been missed.

On our first trip to NYC my mother and I stayed at a lovely hotel in Manhattan. In our toiletries the hotel provided to its guest the C. O. Bigelow lotion. My mother fell in love with the lavender /Peppermint lotion. Unfortunately, we ran out of time to visit your store. Last Christmas, I ordered your lotion! It was a lovely surprise for my mother not to mention the wonderful memories of our trip! Thank you for such a wonderful Product! Can’t wait to visit your store next time!?

Yes it has amazing make-up and perfumes and fabulous grooming items from all over the world but what I love most about CO Bigelows is there meticulous pharmacy. They do compounds and mixtures that the large chains cannot. My youngest child is 25 and they got me through all my pregnancies and children's ailments. I feel blessed to have Bigelows in our lives.

My husband and I were on our honeymoon Staying at the Fountain Bleau Resort, we purchased products from this co.which we never tried before. Their products are amazing. Clean, nice smell, very gentle on your skin. I purchased the Musk body lotion which is amazing. I can even use it on my face that's how pure this product is. I ordered more including a bottle of their womans cologne to try Elixir Blue. I would highly recommend! Especially if your skin is sensitive to chemicals and strong smells. This product is very light and non greasy.

I love that they have so many beauty and hair products from niche brands and upscale brands. There is a wide variety. Products are a bit too expensive for what it is worth and staff is not too helpful but products are worth going.

Lovely Selection of Products both Beauty/Skin and Makeup however, Their Return Policy is garbage for CERTAIN BRANDS so be aware of what you buy and make a very definite choice.

I came there because I used a lavender shampoo in a Vegas hotel (Cosmopolitan) which I like a lot. The price is quite high, but I love this product:) unfortunately you can not buy it online (I am from Germany). As this product has an expiry date, I can not buy it on stock: (

Excellent experience. Unique store is totally different from typical chain retailers these days. Full of interesting things but still calm and peaceful. Friendly and knowledgeable staff helped w my xmas shopping for my whole family. CEO was behind the counter wrapping gifts which shows his unparalled commitment to the company and to customer service.

Their products are high quality and smell great. My gym uses their body wash, conditioner, and shampoo.all of which are good on sensitive skin and have a great scent.

Bigelow’s has everything you’d want in a pharmacy and more. Smart friendly pharmacists who are available to answer your questions and follow up on any issues. There is an informed front counter where they really know their stuff. The other pluses are a quality beauty and makeup counter in an Beautiful historical building. Even though I moved out of manhattan I still use them because I know I can trust them.

There is literally no better place in New York for skincare and beauty products. The store is beautiful and their selection is unmatched.

Natalie made me feel like a queen on my birthday! Her facial was catered very specifically to my request to use natural and organic products (whenever possible). She is gentle but comprehensive and very detail-oriented. Can’t wait to be back soon!

First started using products from C. O. Bigelow about 2015. I was able to purchase them at a local store here in Florida. Knowing the background of this small Family company that has been around since 1838 is unreal. I recently placed an online order and couldn't be more happy with the delivery. Arrived quick was packed secure so there were no leaks. Company provided free samples of products I currently have not tried. The body wash from C. O. Bigelow is superior to anything else I've tried. Not only does it smell great but my skin looks and feels better. Using high quality ingredients does make a difference. This customer for life thanks your Family for providing excellent products and services.

Their selection of beauty produces and regular drug store items are great. However, the pharmacy was such a painful experience. I waited for more than 40 minutes to get generic eyedrops that didn't need special formulation or dosage. I usually use Capsule and wanted to give Bigelow a shot, never again.
