I worked at CWE in the library for over a year. The faculty, staff and students treat one another with kindness and respect, making for both a great learning and working environment.

This program was transformative. I was a doorman in mid-Manhattan for 27 years and finished my degree at the Center For Worker Education (Class of 2001). From there I was able to go to Colombia University of Social Work for my MSSW (Class of 2004) I'm now a social worker working on Riker's Island and have a private psychotherapy practice. It was well worth the effort. The Center was very supportive and the professors and instructors were excellent. Well worth the vale!

The Undergraduate Early Childhood Program boasts one of the best in the nation. #13 out of 500 reviewed programs! Early childhood students are dedicated, hard working, and want to make positive change in the lives of young children. They become a cohort that supports each other, shares information, and just hangs out together. They're the best!

The Center for Worker Education, a satellite campus of The City College of New York, is the ideal CUNY program for non-traditional students focused on achieving their BA. I graduated from CWE in 2016 and felt really lucky and proud to have been a member of this supportive and exciting learning community. A hidden gem in the CUNY system!

I’ve only been acquainted with city college downtown with the programs of Seamus Scanlon ; which have been in my experience very creative and inspiring because of the way he engages students and guests participating in his dramatic events.
His work reaches several communities outside of city college; all educational such as theater and film, the two where I have my work.

This place on Broadway is right across from the Financial Center Bull and it's reachable by several subway and bus lines including 1.4,5, R and W lines. My DC37 Shop Steward class were taught at this location.

The CWE library users experience the best digital library and connections of any in New York City, and have full access to the professional services of one of the finest City College librarians. Books, reserved materials and manuscripts are also easily available. This CWE resource is a true gem and though heavily utilized in afternoons and evenings, is seldom crowded in daytime hours. It is a pleasure to work there.

CWE is a great place to study at! The faculty really care about you, there are smaller class sizes, and the students are all friendly. The library also has many resources that are available to the students.

Although the library is compact, it utilizes numerous resources of printed materials (books, student portfolios, publications, study guides, dictionaries, encyclopedias), and digital content (ebooks, peer-reviewed journals, database, etc). The students are given individualized guidance to information literacy which the learning derived from it is applied to their knowledge elsewhere.
