I bring my daughter here for her beautiful curly hair Mariana and Igor are wonderful people and do an amazing job with my daughters hair type. Lovely place and fabulous customer service. I come here every year and it only gets better!

If you are looking for a fabulous curly cut look no further! I was nervous going in because I’ve had awful experiences from previous salons who didn’t specialize in curly hair. Igor was my stylist and it was a match made in heaven! He is very personable, listens to what you want and highly knowledgeable in his craft. My hair has never been so voluminous, bouncy and healthy, thanks to him!

Additionally, the entire vibe and reception were very welcoming, kind and attentive. I’d give 10 stars if I could, looking forward to coming back!

I had an appointment with Igor and he showed me how to style my curls perfectly. I learned so much and Igor was just incredibly personable and professional and has so much know-how on how to deal with curls. It was worth every penny. I decided to treat myself to a NYC hair cut. It cost $200 as a consult. When I walked in I was treated like a special customer which was nice. The woman who washed and treated my hair took her time and did a nice job. It was not super busy making me feel like I was an inconvenience- which was nice. I asked that my hair be layered from the top down and don’t feel like I got the cut I asked for. I explained to the hairdresser that I like my hair to feel light and fluffy without the frizz. He put tons of mousse in it and sold me the product. Later I realized that I stopped using mousse in high school because it made my hair feel heavy and dirty. It’s a good hairdresser but I don’t feel like I got what I wanted.

Back again! Igor Santos you did it again! Love my hair ️️ always expect great service, a fantastic cut, and most importantly exactly what you ask for. Thank you like always Igor for always doing right by my hair️

I had an amazing experience at Christo Fifth Avenue. Christo was so great and his whole staff is so welcoming and professional. I got a cappuccino balayage and I couldn’t be happier with how healthy and luscious my hair looks! 100/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic salon.

First time visiting a hair salon that wasn't something like Supercuts so I felt a bit anxious and intimidated at first. Turned out to be a really great experience! The front of house staff were welcoming (and they brought you drinks!), and my stylist Cypriano did an excellent job. He walked through what he would like to do and what kind of cut he thought would work best and it matched a lot of what I was thinking. And at the end he gave me realistic styling tips I could do myself at home, so I felt even more confident about maintaining the style. I will absolutely be returning for my future hair needs. My curls have never looked so fantastic!

Wow! I walked into the salon with frizzy lack luster curls and walked out feeling and looking great! Christo and his team are incredibly professional and knowledgeable, dropping gems of hair care and styling tips throughout my cut and treatment. This is truly the best salon experience I have ever had… Christo’s cutting technique kept as much length as possible but still gave me great movement and his styling technique gave my curls individual bounce and body!

Igor is extraordinary! Curly hair is a challenge for all us curly girls, however finding a talented stylist who truly understands how to work magic with the unruly nature of curls is the best gift of all! Igor is extremely adept at defining the type of curl that a client has and mastering the best haircut that makes your curly hair look healthy and fall perfectly in place. Styling is 50% of the result and Igor is excellent with step by step instructions and tips for using products and techniques to achieve a frizz-free, defined, soft result. It takes time and effort, however the result speaks for itself. Igor’s skill, patience, knowledge, and energetic personality makes the experience 5 stars. I found my hero!

My first time on christo fifth avenue i was lucky enough to meet christo himself. He gave me a diametrix haircut after doing my balayage. Also, he was kind enough to take the time and give me a full tutorial on how to structure my curls with the curlisto products which later they were a must to buy. I purchased the bio curl mouse and the structural curl lotion. What i liked about the salon is that it was the first time i felt that i had people taking the time and caring about providing me the best services.

This place is wonderful! Front desk receptionist was very friendly! To the person who washed my hair! To Cypriano, my hairstylist who did an incredible job at giving me a perfect haircut. He took his time and made sure it was perfect! Definitely will come back in a few months! Thanks for everything!

Igor was amazing! There was some scheduling issues but he made sure to make it right and took care of me. He never rushed and I got tons of compliments! Can't wait to go back as I continue to grow my curls!

Christo is THE expert on curly hair. Before I met him no one could cut my hair the right way. Meeting Christo changed my life. For 20 years I have relied on Christo to look my best! I have tried many curl hair salons and by far this one is the best! Ana was my stylist and she knew exactly what to do for my cut. Have my curls life and texture and most importantly volume! I love volume.not only that I love how she prescribed the exact product my hair needs to maintain. It was a one stop shop! The products are amazing. Ana isa curl god! She was Soo good and her energy even better. I can’t wait for my follow up in a few month just to show her I have done everything she told me to, also to restock on these hair products makes my life so much easier I don’t have to spend money in basic products anymore only the best of the best

I loved my experience. I felt like I was treated with the upmost respect and they have excellent service. My stylist Mariana brought my hair back to life and totally transformed it. She also took her time explaining how to take care of it and provided step by step knowledge of hair care/health and was able to answer all of my questions. She was excellent and is highly skilled, absolutely worth every penny

Anna was my stylist and she made me feel at ease, from the moment I sat in the chair. It was the best experience I ever had at a hair salon, I don’t see myself ever going to a regular hair salon again. She understood my hair to the T and explained everything to me with a lot a patience, she even made me do a section to get a feel of what to do at home. I left the salon feeling like a different person. I will definitely be going back. (Already booked my next appointment) It feels good to finally have a stylist who understands your hair. My hair has always been difficult - thick, curly, and out of control. Like me:). I never had a good experience in a salon, so I didn't have high expectations this time. Wow, was I wrong! Igor Santos was my stylist, he cut my hair in a way that made it so much more manageable, did a BEAUTIFUL coloring job, applied treatments that made it look stunning, and very patiently explained how to take care of my hair on my own to keep this look. I'm VERY grateful, recommend this place very highly, and will 100% come back!
