I used to come in monthly for a gel manicure, but after my last experience I do not plan on coming back. I had my nails done by Lucy due to my nail tech running behind. I had her one previous time as well and had a similar experience. There were multiple times during the appointment when I was wincing in pain and I was made to bleed on multiple fingers. There was one point the polish smudged and got on my finger and hardened and she used the metal cuticle pusher to scrape it off leaving my finger red and raw and irritated. I emailed them about my experience twice with no response. I gave 2 stars because the other techs I’ve had have been amazing. It’s unfortunate that they are losing a client due to Lucy’s lack of skill and managements lack of customer service.

Beautiful salon. The owner clearly loves and respects the employees- excellent work: beautiful manicure. Maggie had amazing attention to detail and took the time to make sure every nail was perfect. Also- amazing price- absolutely my new salon

1st time was good Donna did my nails exactly the way i wanted them 2nd time Donna wasn't available front desk told me to book with anyone bc they can all do the same thing. Not true the girl that was going to do my nails was still busy so they had someone else start the process and she took off all of my light concept gel on one hand mind you I was there for a filling! The girl I was booked with takes me and instead of taking everything off the other hand she just proceeded with the filling so you know one hand was thicker then the other hand and she poorly shaped my nails. I came back to see Donna so she could fix them and she seemed upset bc they squeezed me in I told her one nail was broken and she just continued with the filling the nail broke completely off 3 days later! Staten island is full of nail salons I recommend you find some place else! I gave them 3 chances I will give someone else my money

Been going here for over 1 year. My longest nail salon commitment. Always do a great job. Nail shape is perfect to make my hands look sexy. They really understand what you want. I usually always get a UV gel with French design. This time she convinced me to try something slightly different but in same family and I am so far very pleased. And it saved me money.
Couldn't be happier.

My only complaint was the receptionist was on FaceTime for most of my visit. It kind of ruined the relaxing experience of the salon. Place is decorated very nice.

Gatekeeping the woman I go to because she’s always booked and busy and does such an amazing job. I love this spot. Always welcomed with a smile by the salon receptionist, the music is light, happy and played at a perfect volume, everything is clean and I’m always offered a beverage upon arrival.

I am writing this review to share my recent experience at Bubblelicious, which left me deeply disappointed and dissatisfied. My visit was anticipated with excitement, as I had scheduled an appointment for a UV gel manicure in preparation for a special event. However, what should have been a pampering session turned into a series of unfortunate incidents that marred the overall experience. My expectations quickly soured as the service took an unexpected turn. The nail technician assigned to me, Lucy, began filing my nails with the nail filing machine. I inquired about the possibility of soaking my nails as an alternative to filing. Lucy responded that UV polish removal required the use of a buffer machine. I understood the technical necessity and allowed her to do her job. The situation deteriorated further as Lucy began applying new coats to my nails without removing the previous polish. I intervene and switch to getting just a regular gel manicure. To my dismay, the disappointing experience continued. I was taken aback when Lucy inquired about my hair, specifically whether it was an extension and if I maintained regular washing habits. While I understand that curiosity can lead to such questions, they were highly inappropriate and made me uncomfortable. It would be nice to train staff to be culturally sensitive, well-informed, and respectful in their interactions, especially when dealing with diverse cultures and backgrounds. Lastly, my nails were not filed correctly, and I could feel rough edges when my skin came into contact with them. This was my first and last visit.

This place is bull rated my nails weren’t what I requested, however I paid and swallowed the unsatisfied customer service… On top of that then one week in my nails came off one by one… this place is over rated and bull rated! Also a gel pedi uv gel regular tips which burn so bad I thought my nails were on fire costed $150? !? !

The salon is extremely clean and modern. I love that they offer online booking. However, the cost is not worth the service. I went in for a pedicure and it was mediocre at best, and considering it’s one of the most expensive pedicures on Staten Island, you would expect far more. The massage was practically non-existent, the polishing had to be fixed with Q-tips, and the technician seemed very nervous.

I went for a set of SNS, no tips. I didn't even make it past 1 week! On day 7 I noticed the SNS color on one nail was cracked. Like a crack in glass. I have done SNS in the past many times and never had this happen. Over the next few days, other nails began to have the color chipping off. The coating of dip powder was so super thin! As thin as a regular manicure. I don't have my hands in a lot of water and I don't use my hands for anything rough as I have severe arthritis and can't do heavy work. For $50 I expect to have them last more than a week! I also didn't feel comfortable with the sanitation practices that I observed there not only with myself, but with others. I definitely won't be returning.

I havent gotten a pedicure by someone in a year. I personally do it myself because I dont use nailpolish and I care more for my feets skin. I came here because i thought I might get a better job on feet polishing and nails (which im not that good at). About a week later, one of my toenails is longer than the rest, my skin its gotten so dry and rough. AND i now have tiny blisters on my foot. I cant even say enough of the lady that did my feet, her job was lazy, half *** job. They have ruined my feet!

Awful! I was 3x on 1 hand, Lucy used the wrong final coat ontop of the dip it powder which caused the polish to peel off.
I was so unhappy with the experience and the only resolution was, "I will tell my boss. "
Don't believe the ratings which prompted me to go there. They probably write their own.

Find ANOTHER NAIL SALON.

The staff are so welcoming and very attentive to detail! I got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure - both done to perfection! The place is beautiful and clean! A must try for anyone looking to get treated like a Queen and walk out feeling like one!

Came in on time for my appointment. My tech was with a walk in so I had to wait 30 mins. After finally sitting down another customer came in asking to fix one nail. So the front desk girl told my tech to fix her nail. So I had to sit and wait for another half hour while my nails were soaking in acetone the whole time. Afterwards I noticed my tech was doing this woman’s whole mani instead of fixing one nail. It had been an hour at this point and my nails haven’t even been started yet. Needless to say I walked out and canceled my future appts. I felt disrespected and like other customers were prioritized over me. They need to learn time management. Lost a regular.

I’m not from the area & desperately needed my nails done. I was overdue, my nails were a mess & I had no clue where to go since I don’t know the area. I decided to try Bubbilicious because of the reviews & I’m so glad I did! Lucy fixed up my nails, she was more thorough than any nail tech I’ve been to in 25 years! My husband is working in the area until December & I will be getting my nails done here from now until he’s done working here! Thanks Lucy for such an amazing job!

Nails come out decent, but I would not recommend this place for anyone getting acrylics or design. It’s a good place for a simple pedicure or manicure.
Update- many of the gems I got just a few days ago are already falling out.
