Come for the beer, stay for the food. Ommegang makes some of the best beer you’ll have. For those beer curious people, make sure to get a flight and try as many as you can. Although this is a brewery, the food is also very good. Had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and it was very good. We sat outside and enjoyed the bonfire and live music. If your in the area or going to Cooperstown, this is a must visit.
Fantastic experience! The patio and lawn are stunning. There's an outdoor bar (no food service). The restaurant is indoors with beautiful views and fun music. Service was friendly and prompt. The food was fresh and delicious. Recommend the crispy brussel sprouts, 3-cheese Mac and cheese. The classic Frites are not to be missed. We enjoyed the rare Vos Ale was quite refreshing. They also have EV charging in the parking lot! 10/10 would recommend!
We have wanted to visit Ommegang for years and it was worth the wait. We signed up for a tasting and Paige didn’t disappoint! Her knowledge of beers went well beyond what was available at Ommegang which made her the perfect guide in the tasting room. It was the first time we have had anyone select all our choices for us during a tasting and she hit both our palates perfectly! We were super impressed and highly recommend her as your beer tasting guide.
Awesome campus, great beer, fantastic service the whole team was incredibly accommodating. Shouts out to Paige for running an awesome tasting. Dank je wel Ommegang! ¡
5 stars all around! This was our most favorite and best stop on our road trip in the northeastern US area. This also ranks at the top of our most favorite breweries to date. This place was bigger than expected, clean, and well decorated. The food was delicious and the beers were phenomenal (as expected). Coming from California and only trying their bottled beers that make it out there, having their different varieties not available to us was priceless. For food, we had the crispy Brussel sprouts which were crispy on the outside and warm and softer on the inside. Ate the fried chicken sandwich which was wonderful and the crispy tofu on the side which was unexpectedly perfectly cooked, even my kid liked it! Also had the pesto Mac n cheese which I loved as well with the chicken salad on the side. This place was worth coming across the country for and driving through narrow roads to get here.
We did the beer tasting with Paige. She was a wonderful host. Fun and very informative. The beers were great and enjoyed diner after. Would definitely recommend a stop here if you are a beer lover.
We love going to Ommegang. Everyone that works there, are the Best. We love you all. Thom, Catlin, Carie, Dan, Monica, Tim, AJ, Cat, Chase, Coleen, Elijah, Alie, Bret, the whole hardworking kitchen staff and eveyone I may have forgotten. The food is great. Oh, and I almost forgot, THE BEER! We have so much fun there every week. Love ya all
Main dining area closed to public for a special event. Fire pit Friday seems to be a hit. Band was fine. Food and drink from a food truck 'way over by the parking lot. Venue is lovely.
Always a wonderful evening at Ommegang Beer Garden. I highly recommend Friday nights at the fire pit often with an incredible band providing good music and dancing for all ages. Loved our server Christine … very pleasant, beautiful smile and top notch service.
I love it here! Every Sunday since August of last year, my mom and I have been coming here for their Sunday bingo brunch! The waitstaff is great, friendly, and does their job very well. Carrie is such a great host too! Thank you all for making my Sunday a funday!
Let me just say, Samantha is an OUTSTANDING server. Friendly, without being overbearing, competent, and extremely likable. The grounds and restaurant are beautiful. The beers are always delicious. The food. My poutine came out with no gravy. Cold fries. BF got brisket Mac n cheese. Ice cold. Samantha very graciously, took our food back and brought us fresh food. My poutine was bland and dry. They put sauce on the bottom of the dish, and put fries on top. The hs murder rolls are huge and we're cold. They should be grilled on the flat top. It would make the burger so much better. The pasta in the Mac n cheese was nice and Al dente, with a creamy sauce. The brisket wasn't very good. Samantha's warm and friendly demeanor made our experience quite pleasant despite the disappointing food.
My first time up in these neck of the woods. So my wife and I wanted to grab a beer to come up here and they are having a shortage of workers. A clusterfuxs of issue I will never come back or buy there products in the store.
