Amazing Israeli bakery. All the products are excellent and extremely tasty. It's a shame that we only discovered the place at the end of the trip. Amazing Israeli bakery. It's a shame that we only discovered it towards the end of the trip. Excellent pastries, varied and insanely delicious popsats. Beyond that, everyone is nice there and there is a good atmosphere and places to sit and eat comfortably. There is a selection of cakes, breads, salads, and even challah and rogelach. There is no meat in the place, so even for those who are strict about kosher, the place can be excellent.
This location is absolutely awesome when it comes to inquiries. Kaelin (probably spelling her name wrong. My apologies) the young woman that answered the phone went above and beyond. Although in the moment she didn't have an answer, she took the time out of her busy day and called me back. Thankyou Kaelin for sparking this November excitement.
The chocolate babka was rich, decadent, and breathtaking. I finished the entire loaf within a day. I will definitely come back to explore more amazing delights here.
My office ordered from here for catering for an event, and it was amazing! This was during the torrential downpour from Tropical Storm Ophelia, so of course our order was delayed (lots of flooding), but everyone at Breads Bakery was incredibly communicative with us, giving us updates frequently. And when the food arrived, it was absolutely amazing. I especially recommend the croissant sandwiches with brie and olives-truly delicious. Thank you, Breads, for keeping our event going with lots of coffee and tasty food, despite the rain!
The pastries, especially the Jerusalem bagels, are truly delightful. However, I must gently express that the coffee, while satisfactory, leaves room for improvement. Your continued efforts in enhancing the coffee quality would be much appreciated.
The quality of the baked goods is definitely there, but it's stupid nyc prices that kill this place. For baked goods, that in a normal area, I would pay the max $15-25, my bill was $54. I'll stick to the bakeries in my neighborhood.
I went there to meet a colleague on a weekday afternoon. It is right next to union sq subway station. There is ample indoor and outdoor seating with no feeling of congestion (which I hate at some coffee shops). They offer a wide range of teas and coffees but the killer was cinnamon bread. My colleague insisted that I try some and gave me a loaf to take home with me. It smelled so fresh and was so soft with a crispy outer crust - perfectly baked. So I planned to savor it and eat it over the week but sadly it was gone the same night! I will go there again and again!
Large selection and amazing delicious treats. Highly recommend if you happen to be spotting in NY. There is a wait through, and it's long but worth it.
Oh my, what a great bakery. Sweets, croissants, breads, and cakes are all on point. Texture, sweetness, and flavor are extremely well done. There is no hint of stale even at 5 pm on a weekday.
They location is very good, and the seating and size inside are good, spacious, not smelly, not NY cramped. Clean WC is the back.
Very friendly and helpful workers, patient, willing to talk about the goods.
Definitely not cheap! 9$ for a load of bread, 6$ for a croissant. But this is NYC; bring lots of and you'll be fine.
Perfect spot to pop in and grab a tasty little treat. Delightful almond croissants, pain au chocolat, and chocolate reuberts. The olive bread is everything you want out of an artisan loaf. You can tell these people are experts at baking.
Excellent, everything is great, especially the croissants and the cappuccino. The staff is super friendly and very professional, they take care of everyone very well.
I've gotten the croissants from here before and they were pretty good. The staff are always friendly. Lots of people come in for the delicious bread and bakery.
This bakery is a paradise for lovers of bread, baquettes, cakes, tarts, sandwiches, tarts.everything is super fresh, crispy and tastes an absolute highlight! The coffee is fantastic. Little seating, but taking it to the park is really great!
