We came all the way from Ohio to fix my brim because it was messed up and they were happy to fix it on the Spot. They have a great service and this is in my opinion the best Borsalino store I’ve been to so far:)

Straw hats only okay. Customer service in store ok. The young man who does the bands is good [4*'s]. But after ten [10] days no hats delivered, no phone/text/email follow-up. Voice mail s**KS. Webservice worse. Hmmm.

Absolutely fantastic service and selection. And to top it off they have this guy there who can shape your Borsalino to your own very specific taste and style like an old fashioned artisian craftsman.

I had a good experience here, because it was the first hat in my life that I purchased willingly.

We had such an amazing experience today. Shimshi Stillman helped us pick out the perfect hat for my grandson. We were looking at one style and within 2 minutes he had a much better style that was just right for him. And all with a smile. Its so hard to find friendly and capable salespeople today, but Borsalino did very well by hiring Shimshi. Im sure their business has improved considerably when they have Shimshi working for them. I would definitely recommend that he get a bonus for his incredible work ethic.

Lack of customer service and workers are not knowledgeable as far as basic on how to fit hats. I had VERY strange and uncomfortable feeling being in the store.its very experience, very arrogant workers. I DONT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO SHOP HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OF.

Amazing customer service. Yitzchok took the time to help us make the right choice and then spent more time making sure the final touches were as requested.

I made a purchase of over 600$ and I was treated as if I was trespassing. The manger was rude and obnoxious and did not care for my business. He completely ruined my shopping experience. I feel bad for anyone who shops here. Completely unsatisfactory.

I would NOT recommend anyone to buy hats from this place the service is so horrible, the young people who work at the store have no clue how to sell hats. Workers are very Arrogant and disrespectful.very expensive and unprofessional. Stay Far Away.

Baruch was very helpful with assisting me in buying a new hat! Was very informative and helped me make the correct decision on which hat to buy.

The prices are so outrages and and service is even more outrages, my first experience was not what i expected, the salespeople are not helpful and their service lacked basic knowledge of fitting hats. The young guy who was helping me, had no clue what he was talking about, i walked out and went to other store where i was given much better service and attention.i got a beautiful hat for under $200 and i am very happy.

BEAWARE: Torino Borsalino hat that I bought for $195 couple of month ago was pure waste of money, it’s the lowest grade of Borsalino that they are producing, they are fooling the people like never before. The hat is not wearable and has no shape and body to it. I was fooled to buy it and I am not going back there again.

My hat that i bought from them was TORINO for 195 it lasted me few month, and i was not happy about it at all.its not wearable and got very soft. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR DO NOT BUY THIS HAT OR ANY OTHER HATS THEY SELL at this store.i was fooled once and i will not be fooled again.

I got my borsalino TRIONFO hat by them and i am not happy with the quality.hat has no shape and it fell apart

My experience buying a hat from Borsalino brand store on Ave J was Very rude arrogant and unprofessional. The service I got was not pleasant, A young selsman who was helping me had zero knowledge of hats. The store is nice and clean but the workers are Very Cold and unprofessional. Why build nice store and hire people that can’t even serve you and guide you to buy a hat No one should be treated that way.

NOT ONE HAT STORE IN NYC AREA WENT OUT OF BUSINESS. YOU ALL FAILED! Staff very knowledgeable and attentive. Selection a bit skewed for Midwood market. Get more color options besides black.

I have recently bought two hats one the Torino and the Classico Borsalino. I am very dissatisfied with the hats, they both are few month old and I hardly were them. They are falling apart they are not as what they advertise and the quality is very poor. My son is very unhappy and I do not recommend to anyone buying them! Be aware of the quality you choosing. Torino hat is the lowest grade of Borsalino and it’s waste of money. I was pushed to buy them from the salesman at the store. I will take my business somewhere else.

Borsalino store and staff were fantastic. Excellent model selection. Excellent store layout. When I'm in New York again, I'll be back.
