I had a "VIP Appointment" set up to look at a SUV at 9: 15 AM Thursday 6/8. I drove an hour and a half to test drive it and was called by the Sales Manager as I drove into the dealership lot that the car was sold-many days before that. I called the evening before just to make sure the car was there and a salesperson told me it was there. The call center doesn't communicate effectively with the actual dealership it appears and KIa wants them to keep car listing on the website even after they are sold to drive more foot traffic. Never consider them ever again. BTW- I purchased a $41K Hyundai Tucson at Drivers Village in Syracuse the same day.

I usually don’t enjoy the experience of buying a car but Bob Johnson Kia made the experience easy and stress free.
Scott was very professional and patient with all our questions. He made us laugh and that made the experience so much better!
Also a shout out to Zach who had the job of showing us how to use all the features and functions! He also had us laughing! We went to Bob Johnson on the suggestion of my son. Glad we did!

Bought my car from them 5 years ago, had a pleasant experience. Then this time I'm trading my car in and bought a new car. This time it was double pleasant experience with honesty, patience and is very helpful. They took their time and shows me all the numbers with no pressure and made it works in my expectation. Highly recommend going there since they're wonderful people who cares about people than just selling the car to you.

The most stress free, pleasant car buying experience I've ever had! Scott Kells-Murphy was excellent in presentation and execution of the sale, the KIA Tech Specialist, Andrew clearly demonstrated the functions for me, and the Allstate rep - I'm sorry I don't have his name - was helpful in explaining the options and benefits of each. I will most definitely recommend Bob Johnson to others!

They are very customer friendly: Chris was fantastic, but even salespersons that knew we were working with one of their colleagues were attentive and helpful throughout all our visits. They are upfront with pricing and whatever they offer for trade-in and do not pressure to buy additional products. Showroom is not flashy but clean and professional: perfect. Much better experience than most competitors we visited.

I received a fantastic lease offer from Kia. It actually sounded too good to be true. I connected with Chelsea and she assured me we could get the deal that was offered. We showed up for our appointment and the car was in the parking lot waiting for us. We went in and all the paperwork was ready and waiting. Chelsea had even reached out to my insurance company and made the changes with them. All I had to do was sign some paperwork and drive away. My wife loves her new car. I will definitely be returning to Bob Johnson Kia for my next lease.

I am very displeased with the service department. We purchased a used Kia Optima that has low mileage and is still under warranty. The vehicle is for our 18 year old son, Jonas. The issue is that our vehicle will be going 70 mph then completely stop accelerating. This has happened on the expressway multiple times. We made an appt and took it into the Service dept. They could not duplicate the problem, so they could not help us. I asked what we should do, because i was worried for my son's safety when this happens. The tech was accommodating and told us that we should bring it in when it is actively having the issue. Fast forward to it actively having the issue. My son took it in again. The same tech was present. He refused to test drive and was very rude to my son. My son said he would not leave until his father came and spoke to the tech. His father came, and they agreed to test drive it. Our dash cam shows that they drove the car a few feet within the service bay. Then, they came back and said they could not duplicate the issue. Very poor customer experience.

When my local Kia dealers wouldn't help me get the vehicle I wanted I looked for who actually had stock. This turned out to be 7 hours from my house but Chelsea and her team made the buying process seamless. It was by far the easiest new car purchase I've been involved in. And a plus the Rochester area was super nice. I would definitely take the trip again to not deal with local dealership bad customer service. Thanks again!

Love my kia 2020Sportage. It's my second one. Had a 2011 I put on 240k. Why wouldn't I get another right.
Not happy with communication and follow up on other issues and questions once I drove off the lot.

I went to look at Kia Sportages and Nissan Rogues. I was waiting for the catch as they seemed to be $1,000 - $3,000 less than other similar vehicles at other dealers. But there was no catch. The vehicles were as advertised and my sales rep, Sean Spahn, was great. I ended up with a Sportage. It's a little smaller than the Rogue but I liked the handling a bit better.

Christopher Stelter was amazing from the start. The car salesmen we delt with before him were very pushy, and he was the complete opposite. He went above and beyond even after he knew he had the sale. (thanks for the bow!) I will be recommending him to my friends and family!

We had our Kia Soul there for 2 months while they worked on it and we made decisions, and they gave the vehicle back to us with an expired inspection. Yikes.

I decided to buy my 2020 Kia Sorento when my lease ended & Eliceo Mercado who sold me the vehicle handled everything for me. He made the transfer & all the necessary paper work so easy for me. If & when I decide to trade in my Kia in the future I will certainly come back to the Dealership.

Avoid the service center, in-fact, avoid the whole thing! Brought my car in with 13k miles (less than 3 years old) to have my blind-spot system checked. Before I even stepped out of my car the employee handling check-in started up with accusations, telling me that he was "certain my car was in an accident" because "that's the only way this system would fail", he also tried to pin a $250 service charge on me if that was the case. I wasn't concerned as my car has never been in an accident, it's a 1 owner, I've been driving it since June of 2020. Once the diagnostic was done he told me my issue "must have been caused by an accident". He couldn't show me any damage on my car when asked, and had nothing to go on other than his own smug sense of self-satisfaction, but due to his misinformed confidence and presumed authority they denied any coverage under warranty. I'm now in the works with KIA corporate to file a complaint against this dealership and have another service center in the area help with the parts and labor. As a follow-up note, the Bob Johnson rep quoted me $1500 for the replacement claiming it was for parts ($1300) and labor ($200). After speaking with KIA I learned the part itself is $150-225. Absolutely disgusting service model from a "big name" dealership, but not surprised. Be very cautious working with Bob Johnson, they will try to take advantage of you and are a shining example of why the modern day auto industry has such a bad reputation.

EDIT: After speaking with the service manager there was no solution offered that didn't involve me running my car around town, ordering expensive parts, and proving my honesty to them; went to another service center in the area on the advice of KIA corporate who took care of my issue in 1 day with no run-around, hassle, or charges. Recommendation stands: Avoid Bob Johnson like the plague (unless you love over-paying for unnecessary services and being treated like s**t)

If I could give this dealership a zero rating I would! We bought a 2021 Kia Sorrento and a month later it went in to the shop the first time being the O2 sensor, transmission has already been replaced, there was no ac in the vehicle when we bought it, it had been a pure lemon. At no fault of our own but this dealership doesn’t stand by their products they sold us junk, and will not even give us what we put down back on the car. We’ve contacted the Kia customer care and the customer service for Kia is absolutely terrible, the car has been in the shop more than it has been in my driveway and I can get absolutely nowhere on this matter. They won’t give me the money back that I even put down for the vehicle and I am continuously making the payments on this vehicle, when I don’t even feel safe driving my children in it. I guess we will see you in court!
