I'm unable to get ahold of a Theory sales associate to help me get the store credit for a return I mailed in.

One month after mailing in a gift I returned, following the instructions given to me by the customer service line, I have yet to receive a store credit. Five phone calls later, I still cannot reach a representative in the Theory department to help me.

Personally, I don't like the concept of sections by brands, I want pants and I have to look for them in each designer's spaces and in the end I DID NOT buy them.

Got skirt with help of lovely lady and enjoyed their signature tart yogurt in "Forty Carrots"

Well, what can you say: big department store. Women's department on around 3.5 floors, furniture and decorative items on over 2 floors, leaving the men's department only in the small basement. Everything put together beautifully. A few items from each brand but overall not so good. Even if you have a lot of money to spend, you won't have much choice here. When will equality come? 2 floors for women's and men's dresses?

I can not believe how out of control expensive the clothing in this place is. - if you are not a ny resident go to the travelers welcome booth first - they have a 10 percent coupon for all visitors

This review is only for my experience with in-store pickup of an online order. Bloomingdale’s did a real good job. The signage was clear and bright and made it very easy to find the pickup counter on the second floor. There was no waiting as there were 3 friendly and efficient employees manning the counter. She also let me check the merchandise to make sure that the order was correct. I was literally in and out.

I needed to exchange a Christmas gift and once we were on the correct floor the salespeople were very helpful.

This place is big enough to be it's own mall. One of the better places in the city for higher-end shopping.

Usually a big fan but this was the worst customer service of any Bloomingdale's I ever visited.

Its huge and has a lot of products, so keep loads of time on you if you want to browse through things. In case you know what you want, the floors are distinctly marked and the staff is quick and helpful in walking you through the shopping experience

Picked up a winter coat I ordered online. Love bloomies and the entire experience is always seamless. I never wait more than 2 min and the service is spectacular.

A store for women only. As a man it is quite hard to stay here.

A lot of clothes, parfums and other stuff. Sorry, nothing against it but it is not mine.

Bloomingdales, like Macy an Institution in NYC.

You need to go if you search for Department stores.

Poor Customer service! For such a high-end department store I am extremely disappointed with their service.

I have been to many high-end places and never have been treated this way. I am in awe of how rude these sales associates are.

I felt like I was invisible when I was there. I asked for assistance THREE TIMES and no one seems to care to help me. Definitely will avoid this place next time I shop. MY GOD NEVER AGAIN!

Very poor customer service at the menswear section. I’ve been trying to find a shirt and suit. I’ve been trying to ask for help many times and I felt myself like I’m invisible person. The workers was passing by me and only one man came to me for a two minutes and then he did a wrong measure on my neck and then left. Very disappointed….

Went to shop for dinnerware, the women who works there are extremely rude, (except for Carmen which is very nice but was not there) unprofessional and incompetent. I end up order on line and the delivery came 10 days late
I had to buy other plates and return the ones that arrived late
They told me that it looked I still had 4 plates that looked refund to me. Obviously a mistake somewhere but not from me!
They kept insisting that that was was the system show to them … I mean … I get it people but you can’t keep me hostage for an hour there and accusing me to lie for 4 stupid plates
I was there with my baby that start cry, they wouldn’t even acknowledge it but keep being rude … unbelievable!

They should totally not work with people! Worse customer service EVER!

Nice staff, they handed out cloth face masks as well very high end, and the fragrance people are so knowledgeable but can be a little much lol

Shopping at a high end store as this I would expect to get quality for my buck. I ordered a Tory Burch bag and paid premium shipping, mind you I am not upset about getting it late but the wait wasn’t worth it.

The bag was shipped out in plastic packaging and the original box or any box at all would have been good. So it was kinda smushed in with the handles all bent and ofc there isn’t even the dust bag.

Why pay so much money and get a regular dollar store service and quality? ! Called up Customer service and he was unable to replace the bag or even offer any significant type of refund. The best he could do was a $12 refund cause I got it late. Like Really BLOOMINGDALE! Better is expected.

I’ve loved Bloomingdale’s ever since I was a little girl the good old classy days when people were elegant and Bloomingdale’s had gorgeous windows and beautiful looking elegant woman by the perfume stands.
One annoying thing is the loud bad taste of music. You try to speak to the sales person and you need to go very close to them so they can hear you and vice versa!
The music in the store is annoying as hell to me. I don’t know about others because this kind of music is for teens and not all shoppers.
Play some good remixes from the 80’s 90’s some good R&B, some jazz, etc.
I’m so sorry, who ever chooses the music is totally ignorant and who ever doesn’t change it is a peasant.

I love this store they have everything what I need, the price is very reasonable the staff are very nice and friendly, they have a lots of beautiful clothes, the store is clean, I really love to shop in Bloomingdale’s.

I went to the kids shoes department for one shoe and it took forever to come. It's the holidays so not sure why short staffed.

Went to see the Christmas window displays. Was disappointed in how lackluster they were compared to prior years. No real story to the windows or any particular part of the display that really wowed us. Will probably skip in future years.

Always A pleasure to visit. I hadn't been in this Bloomies I'm some years. I go to Jersey or white plains. The Manhattan Location on 59th bar none is the best, Roosevelt field 2 Jersey 3rd and Soho 4th. I look for deals and sales when I visit or window- wish.

I lived in NYC for almost 8 yrs n tonight was my first time ever goin into Bloomingdale's. I did enjoy lookin around at what they had. I started on the 7th floor n went down to every floor n they had what I wanted which made it more awesome! I absolutely loved it!
They were very respectful, very nice n very helpful anytime I asked where somethin was.
I do recommend goin to Bloomingdale's!

Amazing experience! I was in the area, and decided to stop inside, before I headed to the Gucci store for a pair of sneakers and to my surprise, I was able to get the sneakers here and it saved me time!

I had a good shopping experience at bloomies. The customer service was good and they were helpful. Found everything I needed and will definitely going back.

Online orders pick up have been moved to the 3rd floor not allowing a quick in and out. Pretty Bad considering we are still in pandemic time. Disappointed with the amount of people allowed without masks.

Went to redeem a gift card. Need some items from Clarins. Roberta is the manager and was very helpful, professional and knowledgeable. Was able to get everything I needed.

I purchased a suit through Bloomingdale’s men’s suit department, and was helped by Hana Jahmurataj - a wonderful resource. She was kind, personable, and demonstrated excellent customer service. Ask for Hana J.next you purchase a suit!

You’re never too young to shop at Bloomingdales! High quality fashion, so definitely worth saving your pennies to shop there.
Profiling sometimes is done, but it doesn’t happen often at all. Customer service has always excelled!

We found a beautiful mother of the bride dress here! With the help of Olya and alterations it will be perfect for my mom for my wedding. Highly recommend working with Olya. She was kind and patient through a difficult decision making process haha!

Great shopping experience and great air condition during this very hot days. The home department is so chic and beautiful.

Good shopping complex. You can find practically everything you need from clothing to footwear, perfumes etc

The sales associate at the Hermes perfume store was nice. There's a large selection of shoes but the SAs here felt like they were actively avoiding me. I found a shoe that I liked but they could not find the left shoe. How does that even happen? And the guy kept asking me if I had tried on the right shoe before he went to find the mate. The sales associates at Nordstrom are way more helpful.

I will go back to purchase in-store instead of online.

Time to visit an old friend to see what's new with them - in this case it's Bloomingdales 59th St.
Remember their slogan "Like no other store in the world"?

On a nice Friday late morning I entered @ Lexington Ave 59th St and things appeared well. Louis Vuitton was still there as well as the premium designer outposts holding court. A nice beginning.
Up one flight of stairs to the main selling floor and things changed.still well maintained but the atmosphere was decidedly off. No excitement here.just ho hum.pretty much like any other mid-level department store.

In what way you may ask. Men's department was vanilla in offerings.shoppers here seem to be bargain orientated.merchandise was for the most part not cutting edge.
And what the heck happened to the furniture department? Severely diminished in size and where is the WOW factor? Was a major disappointment.

I guess Bloomingdales like the rest of us is aging.gone are the glory days.the Disco days are past.they swapped out their platform dancing shoes for support walking shoes.gone from being "Hip" to I don't want to break a hip!

Bloomingdales.pretty much like every other store in the world.

I used to love this store, but the pandemia has affected the experience in the store. Now they have a very limited inventory of clothing and many time it hard to find some sizes in the stores.

Carries all the high-end names I’d like a department store to carry. Despite small, the Chanel store sometimes has more of the popular goods available vs.other locations (including the boutique) so give it a try if you aren’t having luck finding something in other places. I prefer the Bloomingdale’s layout much more than Saks Fifth—think it’s more modern and visible to customers.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! They will put items on their website KNOWING that they don’t have them in stock! Then keep your money for 30 days if you want a refund! Worst customer service employees EVER! They don’t help you they just on the phone wasting your time!

John in the mens sunglasses department was excellent. Very patient and helpful he deserves a promotion.

I waited almost an hour, on the phone waiting for customer service because my card was decline, I am wondering y is my card decline an I used it in October an paid it in full, so customer service came on the said they are sorry an they said they fixed it. As she began to rang it said, declined again, I took the merchandise from her to another register an it did the same.

Bloomingdale, should say more?
Over priced even for the less expensive stuff, but the cosmetics department is so amazing, I forget about the price.

There is a huge selection of Designer and Niche fragrance houses. I primarily went to test Creed fragrances, but I quickly ended up visiting almost all of the boutiques, testing until I went nose blind. It was a fantastic journey though Byredo, Creed, Memo Paris, Atalier Cologne, YSL, the list goes on and on.
I ended up buying my first Parfums de Marly fragrance that day Delina La Rosée. I know what you're thinking, it's for women! That's how the fragrance is marketed, but I don't believe that fragrances have a set gender when it comes to wearing them.
I look forward to my next visit, where I will likely leave with another amazing scent.

An excellent huge department store. They have everything including an online pickup site at the store. They always have a beautiful holiday display as well and are conveniently located right off the subway stop.

My go-to for year's. My how times have changed. While its still my absolute fave shopping experience, many brands are gone, depts moved, and missing the familiar faces. Will remain a loyal customer but no more of my ultra last minute shopping.
