Black Iron Burger

I came here on a lunch break My server was Raymond he was very efficient, quick and kind. He even gave me a refill without me asking great burger and great service!

Came here two nights running. The staff here are friendly and efficient. Food is ready quickly and very tasty. Would certainly recommend.

We tried the place during a weekday, and we had the most pleasant surprise. Very good ingredients, not overly abundant but with an eye on quality. Attentive and kind waiter helped with a choose the ingredients for the right combination on the custom made burger - quite helpful. Among the best burgers I have eaten in NYC in a long time, and the price was right as well.
Will definitely return!

We stopped on our NY vacation just because it was there. The staff was unbelievably nice and helpful, they made me and my wife feel as as we were home. We ordered a few drinks and a few burgers. The burgers! OMG! Amazing! Super juicy and probably the best Iv had in years. This place is definitely a must. We had to go back the night before we left just to experience it again. Second time which was three days later, the staff actually remembered us and welcomes us back. Felt like a home town restaurant. Can’t say enough about Jay and how he runs the place.
I will always come back!

They close one hour before the time indicated on Google. We have tried to have dinner at 9: 10 p.m. And we have been told that they are already closed. It would be nice if the correct closing time of the establishment was indicated so that customers can plan their visit to the restaurant accordingly. A shame that we are leaving without being able to try the original hamburger from an Andalusian countryman.

Be cautious with card payment there. They charged me far more than the amount I validated for a mixed payment (card and cash).

I ate here with 2 friends on September 3rd. My friends paid in cash while I paid my share with a Visa card. I informed the waiter that my $26 payment included the tip. Despite this I was charged $60. I didn't get the receipt and it's likely that a $34 tip (more than my entire meal!) was added to the payment afterwards.

When I came back 2 weeks later by chance, I checked and saw the actual paid amount, then I asked the manager to check himself, but he refused to do anything as I didn't have the receipt. This time round I requested the receipt and filled in the tip and new total to avoid any other bad surprise.

This could have been done on purpose or unintentionally but it's unfortunate as it is one of the best burgers I ever tasted.

Without a doubt, a paradise in NY, thanks to these great professionals, the Spaniards who visit it feel at home. Just to say thank you very much again, luckily I go once or twice a year, and I always go to visit you. Thank you very much, we will all see you.

Not a fan of the 18% tip being automatically included in the bill. Then, when you get the check, there's the option for gratuity. Fortunately, the food and service was excellent and I didn't need to fight the tip.

SUPER friendly staff, fantastic burgers and great selection of beer! I truly cannot say enough good things about the staff. We had a fantastic experience, and LOVED the burgers… even the turkey burger. I recommend this place 100%

This is a really good burger. Definitely, if you like burgers check this place out. I had their Iron Burger and loved it. Juicy, flavorful, and filling. Good beer selection and also lots of different fry options too.

The burger was really good but also very small. Also came out quite expensive. There is a mandatory 18% tip even for a single guest (it is higher for groups), not really an issue and I would probably tip around that point anyway but I dislike not being given a choice.

Satisfied with the burgers. I got the black iron which was really juicy and tastes really good. Service was quick as they were bot busy

Food was good, service was attentive and kind, and I was in/out within 30 minutes. My Masterpiece was cooked medium rare as I asked and drinks were very quick to my table. Very good experience, worth the time and money!

Started work nearby. I specifically went to get the Saturday happy hour and I have the screenshot of it from the owner themselves. I was charged $6 more for one drink than it would’ve been on that menu & they refused to believe they even had a happy hour. On top of that I asked if the fries were included with the patty melt & I was told yes and of course they weren’t so theres another 6 extra dollars for fries. Don’t know why they’d bother trying to charge sneakily when I would’ve just tipped big anyway

They have some super nice burgers bit pricey but you have outside dining and you can choose inside for for about 10 people but it's super nice but has a very delicious and quick service

The staff was really nice and the burgers were pretty good too. First time i ever had a salmon burger and i must say it was worth it. Also, the restroom was really clean. Love the slogan btw lol

This place is absolutely amazing. The Black Iron burger is out of this world and the Aioli Fries are ridiculously good. I could barely finish them! Topped with a good local brew…? You can’t get much better!

Good! I ordered the patty melt and was really good. The fries was good, but the airco is too strong the food got cold too fast.

I came to this place because the place across the street wouldn't acknowledge me or my fiancee! Thank God! Because this place was delicious and had amazing service! The food was fresh and delicious we went by the servers recommendations and it was a excellent recommendation! Thank you for ther service, quick, delicious fast and fresh! 10 Stars!

Got the mushroom truffle burger and truffle cheese fries… and honesty they didn’t disappoint. Juicy patty with a nice toasted brioche bun. Wish there was more cooked onions on my burger… it was looking a little sad. But overall it’s a very tasty burger. Fries were crispy and truffle flavored but a little too much spring onions for garnish?

Big selection of burgers at an affordable price. Would definitely come back or order take out. They also have happy hour from 2-7pm

Overall worth going there. Food was delicious but half way through eating my breaded chicken, my bun got so mushy and the whole thing was falling apart. I am glad we got a lot of napkins. The aioli french fries were really good. The service was good, although I asked for a water with lemon and got only water.

Cool, no frills bar but. Great burgers, great fries, great wings, great draft beer and friendly service. Highly recommended!
