BJ's Gas Station

Can't beat the price but premium gas wasn't working. Attendant was doing her best, in the freezing cold, to alert drivers. Line was so long it backed out to main road. There should be electric signage above the pumps, which have always been slow, indicating a closed lane. 3 were unavailable the day I visited. Customers are always hesitant to drive to front pumps, jamming up parking lot and street. The angle of closest pump is difficult to turn into. A poorly designed gas island and the one on Brush Hollow isn't any better, lane visibility is good but too short and always crowded. If you have a Costco card, large gas area but the system to gas up isn't ideal,

There are almost always long lines and some inoperative pumps. Poorly planned layout. Actually dangerous to navigate getting in and out.

Crowded gas station. The line moves quick and the customers were nice and patient. The gas was reasonable.

Total chaos at this gas station, drivers go there to save a few pennies a gallon but end up spending a huge amount of time on the line.
Isn't worth it, to me time is priceless therefore I rather to pay a bit more but save time.

This is one of the worst gas stations on the island. Longest line because people don't know how the BJs card scanner works or how the new credit card machine works with a chip reader. Two or three pumps always seem to be down. Cars enter from 2 locations and people who enter in the correct entrance don't use the last 4 pumps cuasing a huge line. If the gas truck is filling up the tanks avoid this place as the pumps will pump super slow. Gave it an extra star because you can't beat the price.

Update: They installed a gate at the south entrance. This helps the line move. Two or more pumps always seem to be down when I am there.

It's aight.it's cheaper then most places.that's if you have a (bj card). (That sounds weird)

Pretty decent price compared to the standard gas stations ️. If for nothing else, the membership is worth getting for the savings you get on gas alone.

Most of the times the lines are long, but the move pretty quick. Thank GOD for BJ's gas. I'm saving tons!

Reading reviews and seeing pics, I never heard of a bjs gas where you are required to be bjs member to buy gas. Not same at bjs in Westbury or bjs in Farmingdale. Is this really the case in Freeport? TIA

Target is cheaper for most items, and you don’t need to pay for a membership. Contactless payments aren’t supported at the Gas station, and it doesn’t work at self check-out inside the store. I’m referring to tap.

Found myself out in Long Island close enough to make it convenient to stop to buy gas using my membership. Too far to come on a regular basis. Wish they had gas to sell in Green Acres location.

This BJ's gas station needs some traffic management. Customers that are parked for pickup or to-car delivery are always blocked in. Customers are then forced to stand in the fire lane in front of the building to wait for their purchases.

Customers are also forced to jockey for position once you enter the parking lot, you need to be ready to stay left or right, depending whether you are at BJ'S for fuel or groceries.

To note, there is another entrance to get fuel but that entrance has a makeshift enclosure of grocery carts and draped with caution tape to prevent use of the entrance.

Long lines they run fast that's right fast I guess that's what's important in the gas station especially these days)

More convenient than anywhere else. Using BJ's MasterCard is more convenient. The price is reduced. 10 cents per gallon.

Gas is a good price but very bad getting to the pump cars block the parking lot there is going to be a accident someday cars are out in the street waiting to get into the parking lot

Horrible gas price is good but the gas burns quicker than. Other gas stations plus there's always a huge line and it affects people who wanna go shopping they need to get someone to help with this to make it easier to get in there

Sometime the employees can be rude. They sometimes are not consistent with stock. As far as the gas it is a complete nightmare trying to get to the gas pump and absolutely exhausting trying to park to shop because of the inconsiderate consumers blocking the parking lot trying to get gas. It's an absolute nightmare

Decent price but too crowded and no order to the lines it's just a mess. It's not worth the 10 cents a gallon savings.

Went here for their gas, after purchasing various items inside the store that had the gas discount logo on it.

Pretty Good, I go there for food shopping and afterward, fill up my Gas Tank, well organize, cost of gas is good compare to the outside, Holly Cow. I recommended.

They really need someone directing the traffic to all pumps. The line gets backed up bc ppl don't go to the last 4 pumps only the first 4. Thus making ppl wait for no reason.

Great prices but be prepared at times for a little wait due to great prices. Do not charge for using credit. If using BJ's credit card extra 10 cents off. Hoses are long enough to reach either side of car. Little unorganized in people lining up to pump which contributes to longer line still worth it if you have BJ's membership even if you don't have the credit card

Another great reason to be a BJ's member. Usually the cheapest gas in town and if you use a BJ's credit card $0.10 cheaper than that. The only problems of the lines.

Best prices on gas. Don't expect a receipt though the printer is not working. The clerk who works there is very helpful and professional. Don't go on Sundays though that line is ridiculous.

This gas station always have problems and nothing is done to fix the pump. Most times Gas flow is so slow your tank fills in 15 to 20 min. They never care to fix it. You will get cheap gas but you will end up WASTING MORE GAS standing in long queue with slow pumps. Hope they can fix it.

The gas station had three pumps that would not accept debit or credit cards how many cash. They posted a sign that was so small not until you pulled up to the gas pump, where you able to see that it would not take debit or credit card but cash. The attendant was rude and had an attitude when told that what do I do because I've have been and wine for nearly an hour to get to the pumps and he told me and other people that we should go back on the line from the start and not use a pump that did not accept debit or credit cards. Management inside PJ said they would look into it. I would advise to call the main office for corporate and complain to them because the managers inside BJ's could not do anything about it. I was there for about an hour and 42 minutes waiting on line!

Although with bjs cc you cannot beat price; With all of the business this place gets, you would think they could find a way to keep all of the pumps operational and, get deliveries at off peak hours or move the fill points to where it would not close pumps. Poor planning engineering.

Pros: Cheaper gas for BJ's members. More discounts if you buy certain items at BJ's. Free air. Long houses to reach both sides of cars.
Cons: Usually crowded when open. Not 24 hours (closes at 10 pm when BJ's closes). No tap to pay (pumps could do with a tech update but I guess not upgrading is one way they save money and are able to offer cheaper gas). Next to the gun range so always sounds like there's a firefight going on nearby.
