I started going to Alex for brazilians after moving to Bushwick from DC and hoped to find someone in the neighborhood who used hard wax, which was impossible to find in DC. I am SO glad I found Alex, because she is truly the best. I'm in and out in under 15 mins, she's incredibly thorough, and I've had way fewer ingrowns than ever before. I recently also went to her for a brow shaping + lamination + tint, and while it's still too fresh to speak to longevity of the lamination/tint, I'm very happy with the shaping!

I have had 3-4 facials with Alex. My skin has NEVER looked this good. Alex is so sweet, gentle, and funny. She walks you through every step and is honestly relatable so you never feel uncomfortable. It was my first time getting a Brazilian wax, so I was really nervous, but the owner, Alex, was amazing. She explained everything to me and taught me a breathing technique that really eased the pain. She also gave me an aftercare sample kit and explained the aftercare regimen. She is very knowledgeable and excellent at what she does! The place is very nice, relaxing, and welcoming. I am definitely going back!

I suffer from acne. Bare Facial was By far the best facial I ever had! Not only did I not leave there with crazy bumps or irritation like I usually do from extractions but I even woke up the next day with my face smooth!

Alex walks you through everything she is doing to your face and lets you know the benefits of it!

She even gave an amazing massage while the products sit. I left there feeling refreshed and relaxed. & she recommended products that are already helping my face.

For brows! She SLAYS them. I’ve done waxing, shaping and henna! And she lets you see the shape she’s giving you before she starts to ensure YOU want and like the shape!

Visiting from Chicago, my first appointment with Alex was a great experience. The Brazilian and underarm wax went quickly and smoothly and I've seen almost no irritation within the first 24 hours even while travelling. Alex has a great personality, is super professional and I enjoyed chatting with her. She gave me some recommendations for my visit to NYC. Alex also provided a little goodie bag with aftercare instructions which was sweet and thoughtful. The studio is clean, cute, and relaxing. Highly recommend!

Writing this review as I’m leaving because Alex was just that good! I got my underarms and bikini line waxed and have never felt more comfortable. She was efficient (both services took about 20 minutes total) but I didn’t feel like she was rushing. She was also lovely to chat with and made me feel like she really appreciated me being there. The space was clean and the ambience was inviting. I never look forward to these kind of appointments but I will happily be returning here!
