Went into the store and picked out the wrong wiper blade. Store wouldn't help me or return the wiper so I could get the correct one. Very rude and have had always had issues at this store. Never going back
The worst I come in for a gas cap today an hr ago i know the one im looking for is about 22 bucks this guy can't find it and tries telling me it's the only kind for my vehicle which I know for a fact it's not cause I buy the same one cause it's a better fit so my check engine light doesn't keep going on so sure enough I go to the auto place in Macedon plaza and boom right there so either the guy here is an idiot which is likely or doesn't know his job also walking in some dbag outside is giving me a dirty look smoking a cigarette only to see this guy come in and walk behind the counter he literally works there too im like are you serious smoking right outside the entrance highly unprofessional so yea this auto place is a dump so word of advice anyone reading go anywhere but this one because of all auto places all over wayne county this is by far the worst
Very helpful/knowledgeable staff. Thomas G went above and beyond. I went in to buy 2 headlight bulbs and left with more than I ever expected. He took the time explaining the pros and cons of specific bulbs that would be best for me and even got his hands dirty replacing the old ones and taught me how to properly install them myself for future reference. More than that he even gave me advice on how to fix my bad paint job if I wanted to do that and who to go to having many years of prior experience himself. Even gave me advice on other cosmetic damage I had. He definitely didn’t have to go out of his way for me but he was happy to. Would recommend to others.
My mother always told me if I didn't have anything nice to say then don't say anything, so I'm gonna take a pass on the borderline crackheads "working" there the other night.
I had been looking for a specific wiper blade, and the website said it was available at this location. When I arrived, they said they didn't have it in stock, despite their own computer saying there were two left.
I had to order one to pick up at the Farmington location, and they had it in stock like the website said. I wasted my time and gas driving a great distance to the Macedon store.
This branch is run by a bunch of incompetent clowns. Get your act together! I'll never shop at this location again.
Only ventured out to this location because it was the only Autozone in the area that had steering wheel locks available in store. With all of the auto thefts, I've wanted one for peace of mind but ordering through Amazon and other online platforms its been taking too long to come. Ordering from AutoZone was very easy to order this product online. Also, someone called me right after my order to make sure they had the exact one in stock that I wanted. The two stars though are from the poor service I received in the store. When I got there to pick it up I explained to the attendant that I just picked the one with the best reviews online but if he could recommend a better one that would be helpful and I would get that one instead. He proceeded to say "they're all garbage in my opinion! If someone's strong enough they can bend all of them" This wasn't helpful for me as a customer and doesn't seem like the best practice as an employee.
Austin went above and beyond for a guy in need. My car wouldnt start so he gave me all the help/ information I needed to get back on the road. I dont know how I could repay him for helping a total stranger as if I was family. By far the greatest auto store employee/experience ive had in 26 years. He deserves a raise and to be promoted. Thank you Austin. You’re the best. FIVE STARS TIMES TEN!
Always have what I need if not they can have it there by the afternoon or the next morning. Depending on who you get to wait on you is what kind of service you get I guess. I usually go for the gray shirts and don't deal with the people with the red shirts on LOL
I've only gone there for some basic things like wipers, body clips, fluids, a new battery.the staff has always been positive and helpful and gone above and beyond. For example, they fitted new wiper blade rubber into existing arms when the new replacements didn't fit/work quite right.
Staff almost sold me the wrong oil filter for my car. If I hadn't already knew the shape I would have gotten the wrong one. The staff is not knowledgeable enough to ask basic questions to help. As a woman that does not know enough, I had to Google things myself to figure it out.sad and frustrating. Just know you should know more because you can not rely on the staff.
Really bad experience this past weekend, specifically with the manager on duty during the early afternoon (Sunday, March 6). I was working with a very helpful staff member who was trying to price match some headlights to WalMart. He was polite and made every attempt to help. But when he couldn't get through to someone at WalMart to help, he asked the manager for assistance. The manager could not possibly have been less helpful or more rude. Condescending tone. Dismissive attitude. Rude not only to me, but to the staff member in front of several customers. Offered no help at all. Walked away and hid behind the counter when I continued to ask for assistance per the price match policy. Left the employee in a situation where they had no recourse and forced them to be the one to deal with a customer that he (the manager) had irritated with his behavior. Eventually came out and offered an employee discount that didn't bring the item down to Walmart's price and looked at me like I was nuts when I said that wasn't acceptable. Then just said" Whatever. " and walked away after apparently entering his managers code to approve the proper discount.
I'm not an "I want to speak to the manager" kind of person, and I respect the work that these guys do. But this guy has no business being in management, particularly in a place where customer service is such an important part of the job. Despite needing several things in the store, I left and unfortunately gave my business to the evil empire across the street.
Oh, and as I was leaving, another customer stopped me in the parking lot to say that they "wouldn't have been nearly as nice as (I was) if that manager treated (them) that way. " Further, they said that they've witnessed his behavior before and try to avoid him when he's on duty.
Jake helped me find a new battery for my car, and wasted no time installing it so that I could continue on with my day. Also checked the diagnosis twice just to be 100% sure it was my battery and nothing else.
They often tell you what you want to hear is stock items over phone just to get your in the store, to tell you they don't have the item you need, has happen to me way to many times! Lol up item on app (might be better to have them hold it for you by name and keep it by register for you, they hold for 1 hour)
I want to specifically give high thumb up to Tim (sales manager) and Jacob A! After a poor experience at FS, Tim and Jacob showed their professionalism, patience, care and efficiency to me. Many of us found that it is hard to find a car service shop with honesty evaluation nowadays. We are not car expert, so we give our trust to those car experts, praying they will do right job. But we are often disappointed. Today I found two at AutoZone and recommend them to all who are looking for trusted services. Tim and Jacob A are the ones I can trust. They are the reasons why I will come back whenever needed
Brennan the store manager was rude and tried to tell me the shield around my battery was just for show because he couldn’t screw the new battery in so he didn’t put it back on. Also stopped wingnuts and told me they didn’t have anything in the store to replace with after they fell under my car! Every time I come in this store I get more disappointed
Jake helped me avoid a crisis! Was traveling from MA to Erie, PA and my check engine light came on. Jake walked me through everything I needed and sent me off safely. Can’t say enough about the service here. True life saver!
I came into the store with a bolt I needed for my husband. The first clerk seemed like he didn’t want to help me and then I stumbled upon Kyle G. He went above and beyond helping me! Great team member!
Clean, well lit. Have in stock, or can order pretty much anything car related. Great store location for me, as I don't have to travel to a congested area.
This location always has the best stock, and some of the best customer service I have experienced. I highly recommend coming here for anything you need. Brakes, oil change, spark plugs, these guys and gals are great.
Everyone at auto zone in Macedon takes great care of me. Tim in particular takes time to answer all my questions resulting in me having a excellent outcome on my project
Good prices and availability on most parts. Their own brand "Duralast" is okay for most parts (brake pads, rotors, ect) but for high wear moving components (water pumps, wheel bearings, ect) I've had problems with early failure. Some when still under warranty. They gave me a new part, no problem but you still have to eat the labor.
