Absolutely embarrassing the customer service I came in asked if an associate older gentleman wasn’t even wearing name tag if they had a catalytic converter cleaner he told me in the corner and just pointed he went sat down gave me his back and started smoking his vape in the fron cashier counter and ignore me meanwhile I just looked it up online until I found it seriously embarrassing on people that is being hired 8/1/23 at 11: 15am

If I could leave zero stars, I would. I literally went in there to purchase antifreeze and oil. It was the worst half hour ordeal of my life. They are the slowest, laziest bunch of men! The original cashier that was helping me was locked out of the register, and kept running back-and-forth for the code. I guess he couldn’t retain the information after the 10 feet he to get back over to the register. Then I guess who I assume was the manager came over and gave him another task to do in the middle of ringing me up. Which would’ve been OK if he hopped on the register right away but of course he didn’t. Only after he saw the frustration in my face did he continue to ring me up. This would’ve been frustrating on any given day but now and the fact that I had an 89 year old man waiting on the side of the road for me to bring this to him. I simply don’t understand what is so hard about literally ringing up for items. You should fire them all and start over. I think they do it on purpose.

They need more employees. Only 2 people at the registers, no one working the floor, one rep was calling for assistance for at least 10 minutes and no one came to help. I ended up putting the products I was going to purchase down amd walked out without buying anything. Very disappointing.

Advice to owner: hire more people!

Came in for a battery for my key fob, the guy behind the counter was super friendly and took the time to walk me through changing the battery step by step. Wish i remembered his name to give him his due but i dont. Great customer service.

Standard auto zone. Not a huge store but has most of the essentials. Staff is a little underwhelming and often seem like they would rather not be there. I can't say I get the warmest feeling shopping here but it is the closest auto parts to my job when I need the basics.
Overall. Nothing bad but nothing great. Just auto parts.

Update: due to management's quick reply and willingness to attempt to fix any problems. I upgraded to 4 stars.

I went to look for an oil filter wrench for my car there. I brought all the info to make it easier for the employees that were gonna help me because I am not familiar with the terminology for the cars so it would just make sense to do so. But the guy who helped me was treating me very rude as if he was dealing with a customer who was giving him a hard time and then I witnessed how his behavior would change with other customers. I had to buy the wrench there because I couldn’t find it else where, bc otherwise I would have walked off. It is a disgusting behavior to switch like that in front of the person you’ve treated the opposite.

This place is an absolute waste of time, I walked in and they had one man at the register. I feel terrible for this one man, I could tell that there was something wrong with him. There were five men in the back hanging out, one manager playing with batteries. I walked in to make a return, I didn’t have a receipt, I never have a receipt, I return stuff from AutoZone all the time, that’s why I create an account so they could save my receipts to my phone number. The man at the register did not understand me/could not figure out how to process the return. I felt terrible, I could tell that they was Something wrong not his fault. I asked him if I could speak to a manager, he kept trying to get his managers attention, the manager kept ignoring him, he then came back to me and said that the manager was too busy to help me, I asked him what the manager was doing and he agreed with me when I said playing with batteries. The 12 customers waiting online laughed behind me

Keron was beyond amazing! It was busy but he took the time out to help me. I felt like a valuable customer. I had the wrong windshield wipers and one of them was loose. He helped me purchase the correct ones, he install all three wipers, tighten the loose one and put oil in my engine for me as well. Best customer service from that store was with him.

Store pretended to be “closed” for about 25 minutes on April 20,2022 at 6: 20 PM. I was walking up to the door when an African American (Sheenu I believe his name is) man told me “sorry we are closed”, I asked him why and he responded with “WHY? Because I have nobody”. I waited in my car afterwards and I saw literally 5 minutes later, the same man let in about 5 other MEN who were waiting and knocking on the door, then proceeded to lock the door AGAIN afterwards, not letting in anymore customers. Only letting in a select few customers after telling other customers literally 5 minutes prior that you’re “closed” is extremely unprofessional and flat out disrespectful. Was I not let in because I’m not a man? The sign says you close at 10, so lock the door at 10.

My battery died today and i went to my local mechanic shop to get it replaced, long story short he was charging me 80 dollars for the installation and 230 dollars for the battery, i went to autozone bought a battery and some wipers to take back to the mechanic so they can replace them, the sales person behind the counter 'Abraham' offered to change the battery and wipers for me free of charge he didn't even accept a tip. One of the sweetest and kindest people i have ever met, and by far the best customer service i have gotten at a store. The employees at this Autozone are extremely underappreciated.

We had a battery, still under warranty, that failed on the road. Took battery to autozone to get tested. We were pressed for time as my wife was on break from work. We got a young Spanish man that gave us unparalleled service. He came outside and tested the battery. Found it was defective and got us a new one. Reinstalled the new one and cleaned area beneath the battery. Gave advice on care of batteries like ours and tightened and got rid of acid. I have to show my appreciation for him as he was also taking care of patrons at the register and on the phone all the while.

Just was at autozone and a lovely and very helpful young man, Abraham, helped me to find a bulb for my headlight, even offered to install it free of charge! When he went to do it the bulb came back on! Great service, very cordial and helpful!

I just had the most amazing service from here. My company car was having trouble with its battery. The clerks here were very friendly from the moment I walked in and after explaining my problem and buying the battery they offered to install it on my car for free without me even having to ask. I will definitely be coming back to this location! Shout out to the team here & keep doing what you do! Your good deeds don't go unnoticed!

Very convenient store. Most of the staff are knowledgeable. They help with everything from simple windshield wiper replacement for ladies to code reading and help for the rest of us. The prices for the parts are pretty fair. Their lifetime break warranty replacement policy is amazing. All in all a very good place to buy parts with most in stock

I HAD THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER AT THE NORTH BABYLON LOCATION. ACTUALLY I CALLED FIRST JUST TO SEE IF THEY HAD WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. I NEEDED A BATTERY INSTALLED SO WHEN I CALLED THE MANAGER JAY ANSWERED AND SAID HE ONLY HAD ONE. HOWEVER HE WAS WILLING TO HOLD IT FOR ME. HE HAD SUCH GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. SO WHEN I GOT THERE TO HAVE MY BATTERY INSTALLED HE ASSIGNED ANOTHER EMPLOYEE TO ME BY THE NAME OF ANTWON WHO WAS JUST AS GOOD AS HE WAS. I WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE. As usual, the aisles are stocked with many items for auto needs, like wipers, bulbs, oils, lubricants and even plate and steering wheel covers. However, the checkout is always long. I spent in excess of 10 minutes waiting to pay for my items. Store can be easily seen from vehicle moving in normal traffic

Waited in line for 10 minutes while exactly zero employees seemed interested in helping the customers. One guy seemed to be picking orders, and two were having a conversation in the back room. I would have walked out if I wasn’t there because of an emergency.

I only came to buy one thing and while waiting on the longest Line, the employees were so rude and were using profanity while working. When he took me in he didn’t even say a word. He seemed mad but he took it out on all his customers which is extremely unprofessional. I’m never returning here.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE IN ALL MY LIFE. The African American gentleman, sporting the low haircut and glasses was either genuinely/maliciously simple, stupid, or slow! He offered "NO ASSISTANCE" and behaved as if I was disrupting him at his home.during my visit I witnessed he and another employee openly ridicule and berated consumers.
I will never return to this store and I will make it my duty to warn locat consumers to do well to avoid this unprofessional establishment.

A little over priced on some items, but they help install simple items and for me since I dont own the tools needed to remove and replace it makes it all worth the extra pennies. I greatly appreciate this service offered by AutoZone. Just a headed up, the Bay Shore store is much more willing to help out than the Deer Park location.
