The lock on my 1970s door was broken, and something about the door just didn’t work quite right with todays handlesets. Don had someone over to my house within the hour. Stuart arrived and was so nice and professional- he fixed all the problems with the door and replaced the new lock within minutes. It hasn’t worked this good since we bought the house! I am so pleased with the service and workmanship- I will definitely use them again in the future!

I needed help replacing deadbolts on my front and back doors and could not figure out how to disassemble the old deadbolts. Stuart arrived at my house within minutes of my call. He quickly and easily determined the proper disassembly method for the old locks and also quickly installed my new locks for me. Additionally, he identified and fixed an issue with my front door not closing properly and thus a misaligned deadbolt. I would highly recommend Assured Locksmith and Stuart as a technician. We have been customers of Assured Locksmith for many years and have the utmost trust in their professionalism and quality of their work. Recently on short notice, we needed our front door lock changed at our home. Assured Locksmith sent a technician to our house within a few hours. The technician was Stuart and he was very knowledgeable and efficient. Within a short time, he replaced our lock with a brand new high quality Baldwin lock and gave us the new set of keys. On a cold chilly Friday night my family was essentially locked in/out of our house. The “new” home we bought had a old faulted lock that would occasionally get stuck this last year but would eventually be able to jiggle open.
Well, it finally got stuck to the point the lock jammed in the lock position. After going on the local moms groups one name repeated “Assured Locksmith”. I called at 5: 30pm Friday night. It was not emergency but Don would send someone in the morning. An Angel of locks pulled up the next day named Stuart. He was COVID conscience, kind, extremely knowledgeable and changed our lock from 1950’s to 2022! It’s a beautiful key pad and we are beyond happy with the quality of service and look forward to any and all needs with Assured and hopefully Stuart’s services in the future. Was looking to make older transponder type car keys, only keys I had were very worn. The locksmith cut the main key manually adjusting for the wear, the new keys worked perfectly. The tailgate key was an unknown blank, as the lock had been replaced, he was able to find a blank that with a little work, a couple of adjustments, I now have a working key. I feel he took interest and showed his extensive knowledge in figuring out how to get it done.

I recently had a new exterior door installed that required a mortise lock installation. I'm happy to say that I called the right company. I spoke with Don and he was quick to understand my needs and scheduled an appointment at my earliest convenience. My appointment was actually the next day with Stuart.

They sent over a very nice, professional guy who did a perfect job. He also gave us good info to help us decide what kind of locks to have installed.

This shop is horrible. Needed a simple double sided key made. After the fourth try and still not working right the guy thought a good plan was to blame the customer.

The key was turning hard in the lock so;

Excuse
A—the key I made the copy from is worn in that’s why the lock turns smoother with it. Wrong that key is brand new spare never used.

B—
Excuse the lock is new and needs to be lubricated. Wrong lock is 5 years old and the spare key turns fine in it.

C—it’s a chinese lock. Who cares can you cut a key right or not?

I then tell him if key doesn’t work right I just want my money back. Now I get the hold on let me try some more. 2 more times and an attitude each times because he couldn’t get the key to turn with the same smoothness of the original key. Finally after 7th try he gets it right. Thankfully the lock was on a vehicle and I had it at the store.

Just horrible attitude right from the start that kept getting worse. What kind of locksmith needs to cut a key 7 times?

I reached out to two other locksmith friends with a picture of key and both said it should have been no problem.

I have lived in east Northport for 50years and whenever I need a locksmith I can always count on Assured Locksmith for professional and knowledgeable service for a fair price. Today I needed to program a set of car keys. I was not happy with the dealerships over the top pricing. So I called Assured Locksmith and they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I had my keys programmed for Half the price I would have spent at the dealership. It took 5-10 minutes and I now know I can also purchase keys and or aftermarket keys from them as well for a much more reasonable price. I wish I knew that before I purchased the key from the dealership. Thank you Assured, I appreciate your honesty, immediate appt and professionalism. I have always received excellent service and I’d recommend them for anything that has to do we a key or a lock. If your not sure if they do it, call and ask and I bet you end up saving money and aggravation without sacrificing quality. This is a great company.

This business is superbly run. I needed to change the locks in my house. Not only did I make an appointment with ease, Stuart showed up when the owner said he would. Stuart is a real old-school kind of professional-courteous, efficient, and obviously takes incredible pride in his work, making sure the customer is satisfied. He went out of his way to explain the options and the cost of those options. We ran into a slight glitch (We lost the new key 24 hours later!) and Stuart showed up and quickly rekeyed everything and didn't even charge me for an additional service call, which would have been completely understandable to do. An honest-to-goodness superb company. A pleasure to deal with. I want to build something with locks just so I can call these guys. You cannot go wrong calling Assured Locksmith.

Came in for a speciality key to be duplicated, which they did for me. Said I was looking for 4 good quality marine locks all keyed the same. They had Abus, the brand I had a researched and better quality locks than anything online I found, even from marine stores. Reasonably priced, too. Customer for life, they are the experts.

Stuart was sent out to install a garage door lock at my rental property. His boss said he'd send him out right away as he was finishing his lunch. My guess is he didn't get to finish eating because he was complained about everything. He finally got the lock installed but never fastened the trim around latch. What a miserable guy!
