Course needs work. Many dead trees. Carts are terrible, old and very bad shape. I had one with bungy cord holding the top down. Dennis in pro shop is friendly, real nice man. I'm just disappointed in lack of money spent on the course since purchase of Twin Hills.
Had a group of 3 that had are tee time at 12: 30, for some reason the course decided to book the tee time of the group in front of us for 12: 28 and it was a family, long story short we ended up getting refunded after waiting 30 minutes to tee off (1 o’clock) and still had people on the green on the first hole when we left.
I think the people answering the phone should be coached on good communication skills. Three times I've had totally disinterested people on the phone when I called to enquire about kayak and paddleboat rentals. Today the person was rude and grumpy. So sad, because I've totally lost interest in going here now.
Had a great time at the Cast Iron Grille Bar. Sat out by the water and enjoyed some cocktails with friends, and even played a little cornhole. Great little spot to hang out after a long day at work!
Great little course set back on the Erie canal. The front 9 is relatively an executive course almost but when you get to the back 9 it becomes more challenging. Mostly consisted of par three's and four's. Great price for what you get. The course is usually in great condition You can't beat paying 25 bucks for 18 holes with a cart.
We just had a great family golf outing here on July 3rd. We were a group of 8 golfers. The course was fun and not too long for a few of the beginner golfers. In addition to golf there is a marina where boats can come in of the canal and dock. Next to the canal was a special event house/room. There was a graduation party going on there. The clubhouse/pro shop/restaurant & bar area was nice. We stayed for dinner after gold and both the food and service were very good.
Went for dinner last night, for the first time. Friendly service, server admitted it was his part time job with humor! He was great, and great to joke around with. I will admit, they are continuing to add to the bar and menu as any new business would do. If you can't find something to eat or drink to be happy with, I would say you should be dinning at a 5 star establishment not a golf course. I personally had the fish fry it was great! The server recommend the pork belly toco so I had to try one. AMAZING! Yes, minor snags any new business would have! I GIVE IT A MUST TRY
Great beginer course for money. Greens are in rough shape and very slow and bumpy. Tee boxes and fairways look good. Great to bring your kid to learn how to golf.
Beautiful place to golf. Course is very well kept up. Staff is excellent and so friendly. For what you pay don’t let it fool you back 9 is challenging. Great course to soak up Mother Nature and chat with great people that not only golf there but work there. Top 10 courses in Monroe County. I will always go back to relax and enjoy a nice round of golf!
Stopped for lunch with my brother in law. I had the Italian sausage sandwhich with peppers onion and cheese and a side of macroni salad. The service was wonderful the food and its presentation wasexcellent.
Fabulous Marina and Golf course. Well managed, affordable, friendly! No pretense noticed in my three years' association with the facility! I'm obviously happy with Arrowhead.
Sept. 2020. Hope there isn't a wedding during your round! This is hole 9, par 5. It turns into a par 3 in the middle of the fairway when there is a wedding. $60.00 for this, terrible tee boxes (mud) and burnt out fairways. Money is better spent elsewhere. Seems like management is more concerned about their wedding ventures than golf?
