Cassie is literally my favorite hair colorist in NYC! She did the most amazing balayage blonde highlights on my hair and it is seriously a work of art! I highly recommend her and will definitely only ever have her doing my hair color from now on!

I expected a luxurious experience as advertised and for a $100+ haircut, I was so disappointed. I live close so I made an appointment with Ygor and I waited over 45 minutes from my original appointment time. I saw he was taking his time with his previous client, giving her a nice blowout, cool, I was looking forward to my turn. The owner was more attentive to me wondering why he hasn’t sat me yet and was taking long. When I finally got serviced, my cut was rushed and shapeless and I was really dissatisfied when I saw he barely cut any hair but I was being nice about it regardless. It was so underwhelming, I could’ve went to a cheap place a got a way better style. What killed me was the blowout! Seeing he left the previous girl with a gorgeous wavy blowout, I was disappointed when he literally just blew my hair dry, my roots were still curly and the rest of my hair pin straight like haystack and in no way I would’ve liked to be seen this way outside (mind you when I made the appointment- I asked if it included a full blowout and they assured me. My hair is easily wavy/curly and manageable). Idk, I got the impression you give the full experience to older, white clientele and I got what I can say was the worst, low quality hair cut and blowout of my life. I do a better job in my bathroom. I even FaceTimed my friend and she agreed it was hideous. I ended up going home and cutting+blowing out my hair the right way!

I've been a client at Arrojo for about 8 years and their service and cuts can not be beat. I was first introduced through Salon Apprentice and received great cuts at their Academy/School. I liked their technique (in my case I depend on the straight razor to shape my thick hair) so much I decided it was worth the cost of the regular salon. Their staff is always warm and friendly and welcome you back with a smile. I've been so fortunate to have Nick cut my hair from time to time and he is just the best. My hair is really difficult to manage and his cuts are incredible.

I visited Arrojo hair salon King street nyc for the first time - Aug 2023. I had hair cut and highlights to blend my grey hair! Wow. Gina did my colour and it can out Amazing and in great condition, my hair shines even after i washed my hair and styled myself. Now for the cut - Georgia cut my coarse wavy but fine hair - many a hairdresser has had troublle with my hair! Wow again the cut is truly amazing! I wash my hair and I am able style my hair with ease and i have had so many compliments on my new haircut and colourr. The layers are perfect and my fridge is just the right length- i am truly greatful to this salon! I will be back and the reception staff are really pleasant and accommodating. Thankyou! I give 5 stars for a great team love this hair salon! See you agsin soon!

I went for a global hair color and left with a few color stains on my forehead. The glaze is too overrated - it is $85 for nothing. The blowout was handed over to a really sweet but unfortunately relatively new professional who could have done a better job with the blowout. My hair is still frizzy, it's not a blowout you pay for and get in a salon.

On top of that, I was brought the check in the middle of my blowout. The staff seemed to prioritize getting done and going home more than finishing a service properly.

Bad. Nick comes across as pompous to me. Says alot when your entire staff walks out on you.

I had the best experience at Arrojo salon, Gina was a delight and gave me the best American wave perm, and Nick was masterful cutting my hair. Recommend to anyone looking for a fun change in their life.

I told a friend I was jokingly thinking of getting a makeover and she literally steered me into this salon where Lina gave me a free consultation. She played with my hair and told me what I should do with it. I went home and thought about it, I agreed with her and came back for the cut. It was fantastic! She totally transformed my look and I have never had so many compliments. Thank you Lina!

Amazing customer service, such a fun team. I see Georgia for my haircut and she is wonderful. I called on a Tuesday and was able to make an appointment for Saturday. Could not recommend this place enough!

Totally deceptive and ridiculous pricing. I went for a color correction and it took 5 hours. Didn’t tell me the $328 price until I was about to leave. Worst experience of my life. Never coming here again.
