Horrible service. I had a legitimate issue with a loss of audio with my AirPods Pro 2nd gen and staff was nice but gave no assistance. Staff stated he escalated the problem to the manager and she wasn’t willing to assist. Now, this would’ve been fine if I was some sort of charlatan, but I Will Not be returning to this location or spending money here. I went to Apple West 14th st and they swapped out the AirPods, solving the problem. Thats how you provide proper customer service. Apple products are apart of my lifestyle. My next review will be 5 stars at the Apple west 14th st location.
I didn’t like my experience there today! I made an appointment to replace my battery! I came in early but wasn’t let in which I understood! Came back at my scheduled appointment and walk in where technical support was delivered! I had two staff there were walking free but ignored while I was walking towards them, maybe they didn’t want to take any other customers or maybe it’s something else! I had to ask the girl if she assit me! She asked if I had an appointment and what did I want. I explained her my issue which was battery replacement! We went through the process and I explained her that I already had a bad experience with this issue because Apple make me took an appointment with bestbuy Fordham Road on December 1st but when I went there they told me they don’t have a battery for my model! Nevertheless I was told that I had to wait 1 hour 30 mn for the service to be done and when I asked why no acceptable answer was given to me other than many people were there waiting which wasn’t true! I felt like it was a way to discourage me to get the service I came for! It was already 5: 30 pm and I couldn’t wait that long! I had to leave and I could felt the relief from the staff, like I don’t want do this. No alternative offered and no words of consolation, not even have a good day! I have been paying my Apple care subscription for two and half years and cannot even have a proper battery replacement! It’s just about the money but not the service! Disappointing
1/2 star as at least instructor showed up. Very poor customer service & we did NOT learn anything. APPLE used to hire caring employees at these instructor-led workshops but now it’s lucky if you’re blessed with a competent caring APPLE Instructor. We are very disappointed in the lack of teamwork!
Plenty of staff but you will have to wait for service. They broke protocol and didn't get my approval on an expensive repair. I paid for it regardless but it was really unnecessary. I could have brought a new item instead.
I have a MacBook Pro, I've been using it for a year and a half, one day the computer screen broke (flicker on the screen) without any reason, I'm not satisfied with this, this is bad for your company's reputation
We stopped by to buy a bumper for a series 7 watch bit they didn't have then in store yet. We also need to charge our devices and they let us sit and hang out to do so!
I had to come twice to get AirPods repaired that I purchased 2 month ago. First time around they sent it to a third party vendor in Pennsylvania. It was returned with the same issue. Came back a second time to the Genius Bar, they replaced one AirPod but the technician did not care to wait and try to see if the issue was repaired. After charging them at home, I noticed the same issue remained. I tried to come a third time but was late by 20 min and was rejected at the door. I finally had to go to the Soho location to find a professional and diligent technician who fixed the issue. I can only notice that there are a lot of technicians running idle and joking around at the Grand Central location. Unprofessional and little care of customers.
Apple store located in the legendary Grand Central Terminal. Staff is very friendly and usually quick to help you but last time I was in store I was waiting for a sales associate much longer than usual. Once I was helped transaction went smoothly.
This apple store staff is very rude and please stay away from buying iPhone 13 pro max because the camera is not functioning properly. First the camera is blinking all the time and cannot focus. The photo also self enhancing the brightness to make the pictures ugly. I went to the store to try to fix it. The ‘genius bar’ guy told me it is an iPhone feature and it’s good. How come it’s good if it is bothering people live? He also told me even with iPhone 11 it does the same thing and I pulled out my iPhone 11 to show him the iPhone 11 camera is working properly. He just ask me to go back home and just went away. Very rude! Report!
The receptionist was accompanied and the technician Kevin provided friendly assistance that brought my laptop alive after the Monterey software update failure.
I ordered a phone with same day delivery. They use uber eats for delivery. The uber service couldn't find the address even though I confirmed it was written properly. After calling 4 times and waiting about 10 mins each time they told me the order was canceled and I would have to reorder. My money won't be refunded for 4-5 business days. I wasn't given the option of picking it up in person as it is against policy. The apple site has a function to track the phone. This said it was delivered but when you click on tracking it says it was canceled. You can see the address in the photo. It is a retail location that is open to the public. We receive packages everyday from amazon, ups, fedex and others without an issue.
Never never come ro this store for any repairs. They don't have enough technicians. You will be there for ages without getting anything fixed. Especially the black supervisor is the worst! Walk away!
Still one of the Most Beautiful structures ever built, and it's right here in the Heart of New York. The service is timely, yet the amenities are better; with food and drinks, along with simply it just being a nice place to hang out and meet new friends. Our just to have a fun experience while taking in the Architecture
Worst Apple Store ever! They are not professional at all, rude employees, unhelpful and it applies up to the manager of this place! Tip: leave you personal thoughts and life outside of your job! Inside the store you’re a Apple employee
I am grateful this place maintains its beauty, safety and efficiency along with its little hidden gems. I cant get mad when I need to travel far and must pass through GCS.
APPLE STORE GRAND CENTRAL STATION, my worst experience ever:
When I bought my phone they were really nice (good selling). After that, all my visits to this store were one worst than the other one. My last visit (today 09/19/21) was awful. It seems that nobody care about you unless you need to buy something. I’m impress of how you can’t solve such an easy problem like a battery replacement (even that I had an appointment to change it). DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE
My brand new MacBook Air M1 was not turning on at all after only having it less than a year. The techs at the Genius Bar were very nice and explained what they were doing as they worked. Unfortunately the laptop had to be sent to a repair center - which was covered. The repair center fixed it up in less than 2 days and I got it back good as new. Great location! They work fast and are all super nice.
Long story short, Apple store needs to communicate better with their staff answering the phone. I’ve wasted my time when i was told one thing (a simple question) on the phone but got a different answer at the store. Be better.
Around 5: 20pm before I get on the train. I stopped by the 2nd floor of the Apple store. The guy at reception told me Apple Pencil 1st generation did work with old model iPad. He even didn’t look at my iPad. Very bad service. There weren’t lots of people that time.
