Anastasios is the Artist of hair. Me and my mom both go to him. Its difficult finding stylists that know how to handle my 3C/4A hair and not damage it. He has dyed and treated my hair on different occasions and its came back to life and Fabulous. I trust his opinions as he is very knowledgeable of his craft. Sooo happy I found him, Thank you Anastasios!

My mother, Maria, has been going to APapas salon for about the last year and a half after poor experiences at other salons in the area. The salon came highly recommended from a family friend and she has been so pleased with all the services she receives here. The owner, Anastasios, is absolutely wonderful, very personable, and clearly highly skilled in his craft. From cut to color to styling, her hair always comes out looking amazing. She would recommend his salon to anyone looking for quality work, from someone who genuinely cares for his clients, in a beautiful and clean space.

I trust Anastasios completely with my hair. Very knowledgeable about hair and anything that could affect its health. He gives honest advice on how to manage your hair as well as the colors that will suit you the best. Him and his wife always make you feel comfortable and welcome. My color looked like something out of a magazine when he was finished. I would recommend anyone to go to this salon.

Anastasio came highly recommended through a friend. He gave my son his first hair cut at a year old and was so amazing with him. It was then that I started to see his work and I cannot rave more about him. My hair is healthy, growing back after post partum hair loss and is on its way to hair color recovery. The pictures say it all! The before and after is just WOW!

What can I say about Anastasio and the Apapas Hair Salon; you are treated like royalty the minute you walk through the door! I first came here in August after much trepidation following the pandemic about what to expect. Happily, this place exceeded my expectations. The salon is well lit, modern and clean. Anastasio is truly a god send. My Hair has never ever looked better! He is truly blessed with what I call the growing hand! From the minute he touches your hair; just know you are walking out of that salon with biggest smile and sense of relief for someone who truly understands and has a great appreciation for hair. He does a phenomenal job with color; I felt so confident with his work I brought my mother along; who for years swears by boxed color! The transformation he was done; literally brought tears to my eyes! Please go check him out.you will not be sorry!

There are not enough good things to say about this salon. Anastasios makes you feel like an old friend whenever you are in his chair. He is very skilled and knowledgeable about all things hair and he will always give an honest opinion on any styles that you bring to him! The salon is beautifully modern and always perfectly clean. His prices are fantastic and I always leave in higher spirits than when I walked in. My only regret is that I didn’t go to him sooner:)

I highly recommend this place for anyone planning to have a relaxed pampering for their hair. He is very professional and don’t force you or put unnecessary pressure on you to buy products and stuff. He is very knowledgeable about his service.

But the difference is made by the stylist. He is welcoming and friendly, considerate and attentive. He listens to you, especially at your first consultation, before he picks up his scissor or mixes his dyes and he also listens to your hair. He allows your natural hair texture, the latest trends and your personal fashion sense to coexist and trust that he will make the right decisions with wisdom. What I appreciate the most is his honesty; his recommendations are based on his educated taste, his understanding about hair type and face shape and trends, and he owns important skills to execute what best fits you. He will be honest about what is best for you and you can trust his judgment.

Anastasio is the best stylist around. You can tell he is so passionate about what he does. I never really took my hair seriously until I started coming here and taking his advice, and it's helped so much. It's such an enjoyment to go into the salon, because you will get some great conversation as well as a quality haircut. Would recommend to everyone!

Anastasio is the man! He has made my hair styling experience into an event that I look forward to every time. He is always in a good mood and makes great conversation, but at the same time an artist at work. Once you go, you will not let anyone else take care of your hair. He does my beard great as well.

Love at first sight! I have been going to Apapas Salon since he opened over 1 year ago and my hair has never looked so good. My hair is long and healthy. Salon is beautiful and the atmosphere is relaxing. I always look forward to getting my hair done at Apapas.

I've been going to Anastasios for 2 years now, after asking my co-worker where she got her highlights done. I noticed her hair was always glowing and I'm so glad I asked. I have gotten highlights done twice and my hair came out amazing both times. Having wavy thin hair I was worried I get a lot of breakage and split ends, but no that hasn't happened. Anastasios was very accommodating, he also gave me a trim, and gave me tips on how to take care of my hair. The place is super clean and he uses quality products, which you won't find in many places in The Bronx. So pleased with the services I received and will be coming back. Highly recommend! =)

Anastasios is the best colorist I’ve ever gone to. I trusted him to turn my almost black hair into a beautiful, natural blonde in just 2 sessions. He’s very friendly and works in a very clean and professional environment. He finished off my dye job with a cut and style that was done just as beautiful and professional as the bleaching.
