Angola Service Area

I work at the Sunoco on the Eastbound side. The rest area itself is closed but we are open and have sandwiches, snacks, cold drinks, candy, meds, smokes and chew, and friendly faces! There are porta potties available also!

July 2023. The parking lot is sealed off. 3 porta potties we’re available next to Sunoco gas station but no water or Purell

This place has gone soooo down hill. So sad to see nothing open in it anymore.thank God the bathrooms were decent.

It is undergoing a complete remodeling. The day we were there was the last day of being open so no food was available. Don't know how long it will be closed for.

This used to be a booming rest stop but it is nothing but a bathroom and gas station stop now. They took all of the restaurants out, it's like a ghost town in there. They don't even sell souvenirs anymore. Really disappointed. Hope this is a transitional thing. We used to love this stop on our road trips.

Handicap accessible although handicap button for the doors didn't work. Staff was friendly and helpful, I informed them of the button not working properly and the called maintenance right away. I stayed to rest and have something to drink (20 minutes) and upon leaving a employee walks me out being friendly. And when we got to the exit the maintenance department was working on the issue and also apologized for any inconvenience. Now this will be a "always" stop for me whenever I have to go this route!

One of my favorite stop whenever traveling, My family and I stop here every time we travel it has become tradition and we never break it. My kids love running across the bridge and I like the Cinnabon's.

Come for the view of the Thruway, stay for the food options. Just make sure you go back out the correct side.

Bonus, the bathrooms are clean.

Nice place with a lot of food vendors if you're hungry and a gas station on both sides which are nice if you just need gas, to grab something to drink or snack on or if you just need a pee break, they have a restroom in the gas station, especially if you can't make that walk across the pedestrian bridge to get to the large public restrooms.

Gift shop closes at 6pm, it has many pamphlets for tourist attractions, has McDonald's, Subway, Moe's Southwest Grill, and couple other places to eat from. Clean restrooms, and there isn't a general convenient store inside for general items.

Most everything is closed. McDonald's is VERY overpriced, slow and not very friendly. Stop only if you must, otherwise head on down the road to where your business will be appreciated

Really nice, some good eating places inside and a friendly NY tour agent to help with things to see in the area, wineries Niagara etc.

A lot of places closed, clean facilities and the dining experience wasn't what I expected for my first trip to New York.

My daughter was fascinated by the fact we walked over the interstate to get to the bathrooms. We only stopped for the restrooms, which were large and clean.

Nice place to stop, not much parking but its not crowded either. I just like to lookout the walkway windows over the highway. Nice view

It was nice but the in closed pedestrian walk could have some heat so it's not so cold in the winter time. But it was a very clean and nice place

My truck broke down at this place in New York. I give it 2stars due to the location in the median being very unique. The costs at all the stores were VERY REDICULOUS! I paid over $15 for my usual dollar menu order that's less than $5 all together! My w for $3 20oz Code Red Mountain Dew cost like 2for$6!

During the winyer storm just passed there was trucks parked in middle ways blocking roads so got stuck in lot 3 extra hours they dont patrol lots at all and keep people in legal spots all the plazas need to b patroled nightly for illegal parking

So I have been going to Angola travel plaza since I was little and its a good place to pee but as a pokemon go spot the other travel plazas are better. The prices are a bit high for the fast food so I don't get food from here.

The smell in the travel plaza was overwhelming. Wanted to grab a cup of coffee but I could stay long enough due to the odor.

Always my stopping location, restrooms are clean and big.

- No coffee stand, McDonald's coffee available (but weak).

Best place to stop. There are alot of restaurants option. There is a pedestrian covered bridge over the interstate that connects the parking lot and plaza. The bridge walls are glass for to see the view of interstate trafic.
