After having been to multiple piercers over the past decade, I’d probably have to say that Kaspa at Amulet Arts is my most trusted piercer on Long Island - I drive 30 mins one way to see them because every experience I have at the shop is absolutely phenomenal. Not only do they offer beautiful high-quality jewelry and the safest sterile practices but their industry knowledge, professionalism, and friendliness is what keeps bringing me back. It’s also important to me to mention that they are incredibly LGBTQIA+ friendly. This shop is the only one I recommend to anyone I know who is looking to get pierced.

Amulet arts is a truly a lovely space with a huge selection of the most beautiful jewelry. Kaspa is super helpful, friendly and knows what he is doing. I recommend everyone here! You’ll definitely find the perfect amulet.

I’ve been here before alone and got three piercings and had a great time.but yesterday i took my grandmother for her birthday to get her second holes re-pierced.the guy taking care of us didn’t treat us like regular customers.he was very condescending, maybe because we weren’t getting any “cool” piercings?

he kept telling my grandma to put the earring cases down “in case they fall out” like my grandmother is gonna drop them holding them half an inch off the display case.then we go to the piercing room and the bed is too tall for her to sit on so i ask if she can sit on one of two swivel chairs and he says no (?) and i asked why not and because she could “slip and fall. ” like sir, yes my grandma is old but she’s not incompetent.ik he doesn’t care whether we return again or not, but it’s like he didn’t even want us there to begin with.im just not a fan of the “don’t waste my time” attitude.i was going to get my conch pierced yesterday too, but changed my mind after seeing how he was treating us.so i decided to just get hers done since i had already purchased her a gift card.shame it wasn’t the same experience i had last time:/

edit: after reading other low star reviews, i see that i am not the only one who experienced this man’s poor attitude and lack of customer service skills.and not to mention his responses to these paying customers! Wow! A reality check is way overdue for the man running this shop.

What a GREAT PLACE! Very professional clean and accommodating. As an older senior citizen I had trepidation getting a piercing. Kasper was patient understanding went out of his way to accommodate my physical limitations. He was super clear on aftercare. I highly recommend this establishment

Amulet, unlike other body mod shops I e frequented, was great from start to finish. Nothing happens without consent, information, education, and taking your personal opinion into account. Jewelry selection is vast. Kaspa is helpful, informative, and professional at every stage of the process. And they have a level of cleanliness/sterile procedure that I didn’t know existed. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Such a great experience. I’ve had a keloid and my piercing seemed to be pushing in on it. Michael explained everything, let me pick a new stud, and put it in very carefully. 10/10 will be retuning for future piercings

Great experience here! Came in for a nose hoop and Casper helped me choose the right one and made sure I’d be satisfied with it. Since I’m a novice at putting in my nose rings, he did it for me with the most kind and positive vibe. The energy in Amulet Arts is good vibes and awesome service!

Got my first piercing there today! It was so clean and pretty and also so easy! I have a very low pain tolerance but I barely felt it! I got my Tragus done! Highly recommend this place

Michael Kaspa was AMAZING. I went to him after having trouble with my navel piercing that I’ve only had for a month from another piercer. He was so thorough with explaining everything to me and made sure I was comfortable with him, unlike other places I’ve been. He changed my piercing for me and cleaned it up because I previously had stainless meanwhile I had a metal allergy. He cleaned it up for me and it genuinely has not felt better. I would recommend Amulet Arts to anyone looking for a piercer who is clean, experienced, knowledgeable and makes you comfortable while you may be a little nervous getting a new piercing!

I made appointments on the app for what I thought was for two dermals. I actually made an appt for two removals. Kaspa was very understanding and took me in with a huge smile. He was very understanding and super knowledgeable. He explained everything and supported me through the whole thing with a very gentle hand. 10 out of 10 recommend. Place was classy and clean. Will be there again soon!

I had a really terrible experience here for a piercing. I will NEVER get another piercing at this establishment and I will NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE.

I wanted to get my earlobe pierced. I asked to be pierced with a hoop because I had better experiences being pierced with a hoop in the past, the piercer told me "no" right away. He then asked me what jewelry I wanted, I said I would like gold. $200+ later I was pierced. I went back 6 weeks later for a check up. It was very inflamed and infected; it bothered me every day for 6 weeks and I had no idea why. I mostly followed instructions, but yes, when it was bothering me, I was twisting it to see what was going on. At the check-up, he told me I didn't follow instructions correctly (true) and apparently the piercing rules have changed since I was a teenager (true), but he didn't seem too concerned as it was mostly my fault.
8 weeks later I decided to go to another establishment for help because I was 120% following instructions and I was still not healing. For an earlobe I knew this wasn't right.
The pierced at another location told me within SECONDS of seeing me I should have NEVER been pierced with gold. Gold is not good for any piercing due to the foreign metals. He put a longer, TITANIUM earring back and sent me on my way.
Mentally and physically I felt immensely better right away. My ear stopped throbbing immediately. I am finally healing! What a huge difference!
Circling back to Amulet Arts, I really do believe the piercers here make their money from the jewelry they sell. For a professional to not recommend a different metal to me is very sad and frustrating. Should I have done research on what type of metal would have been best? Yes. But if I am going to a professional establishment and spending hundreds of dollars, I would expect they would know what they are doing and would tell me the truth. I would also expect at the check-up when he saw I was not doing well at all, to maybe consider it was the metal used, not my cleaning routine.
P. S. I only paid $10 for a titanium earring change at the other establishment. Not only did this piercer help me physically, he actually informed me instead of taking my money.
