You haven't experienced pampering and relaxation like this anywhere else! I have been to lots of spas, but never had an experience as indulgent and stress-reducing as what I experienced at the Adk Foot Sanctuary. I highly recommend!

First time was amazing that I keep coming back for more! The sanctuary and the staff are so wonderful and kind. Truly the best and so relaxing.

Got the barking dogs treatment. This place is absolutely incredible. Loved the products they carry. The service was beautifully thought out and explained. Comfortable space, wonderful treatment, friendly staff. I only wish I could go every day.

Most relaxing experience! My daughter and I went for the first time this weekend, and it's going to be an annual visit for us. We loved the lemon ginger tea too!

One word - magical. This was my first visit and my therapist was wonderful - made me very comfortable and explained what she was doing. The treatment room was relaxing, dimly lit and quiet. As if the foot treatment wasn't enough, I was served lemon ginger tea, given my choice of aromatherapy oil to rub in my hands and smell throughout the session, and had a warm lavender flax wrap placed around my neck and shoulders. Eye masks were also provided. The foot soak was lovely with salts and herbs in a beautiful copper soaking basin with river rocks in the bottom. The massage was pure heaven. My treatment concluded with warm towels over my feet and cool lemon water to drink. We don't often think about our feet but we should, they do so much for us, and we should take care of them. This is much more than a "foot soak, " it's a beautiful ritual to relax and recharge your feet and yourself. Thank you, I will definitely make this a regular part of my visits to the Adirondacks.

I love this place so much! Such an amazing experience, I love how they think of all the tiny details to make you feel so pampered. I highly recommend this for anybody, but I especially love going there with my husband for some "treat yo self" time.

Amazing experience! Took my wife here for a birthday surprise as first time guests and we were not disappointed. We had Alamanda as our therapist and she did an incredible job. All staff is warm and welcoming, atmosphere is calm and relaxing, the service is outstanding and my feet feel great! Will be making the drive just to make this a part of my monthly self-care routine because it’s so worth it. HIGHLY recommend!

This is a staple for us now when we visit Lake Placid. Christine and her staff at the Foot Sanctuary are just wonderful. My wife and I just enjoyed a foot soak, leg and foot rub, head rub.the works! Alamanda and Kylyn are amazing at their craft. If you don't visit this place while you're anywhere NEAR Placid you're really missing something wonderful. Sit back, relax and enjoy every second!

This business deserves a 10 star review if that was possible. Incredible atmosphere, amazing therapists and an owner that is involved in the front room. We'll definitely make another appearance the next time we visit lake placid! Kylan and Alamanda were professionals with their hands and techniques

Nice staff and relaxing atmosphere. We had a couples foot/leg massage but only had one masseuse. So she divided her time between us, but still charged as a couple. We would have been better off going individually.
The actual time spent getting massages was approx 10 minutes. Everything else was soaking our feet, or waiting for her to massage our partner. Or changing out tubs and towels.
Again nice staff, but not worth the money.

EDIT: Christina reached out to us immediately to discuss our concerns. She did an excellent job in making this right and providing excellent customer service.

The Foot Sanctuary is a secret gem in Lake Placid! I absolutely will go here every time I go to Lake Placid. I had a mud wrap on my feet that was delightful and the girl (who's name escapes me) couldn't have been better. I also had my scalp massaged and my feet~ this place is a must, aw bliss!

This is an absolute gem in Lake Placid. I had the ADK Men’s Brew with Kylin and my wife had a massage with Melissa, both were inexplicably wonderful and relaxing. The owner, Christina, has built a serene, nurturing and beautiful oasis, with a menu of treatments that will suit anyone and everyone. I could not more highly recommend!

My husband and I scheduled Simplicity massages and the experience was lovely. The foot soaks, the essential oil blends used and the heat wraps for our necks were super relaxing. Finally, the massage itself was delightful. We left relaxed and very happy with the experience.

Such a relaxing way to treat yourself, and more affordable than many of the other spas in the area.

My family had a throughly relaxing and calming experience with Melissa. She is attentive, skilled, and professional. The atmosphere is clean, well-designed, and very relaxing. With the comfy chairs and oversized pillows I was asleep within minutes. The treatment was through and way more than we expected. I never knew my feet would benefit so much from this kind of attention. I feel great.

My husband and I recently visited ADK Foot Sanctuary and reserved two treatments, My Dawgs Are Barking and Simplicity. Alamanda was our therapist. We can not say enough about how incredible the treatments were, so relaxing, so soothing, so comfortable. The way she explained each step of the treatment in a calming non-intrusive way helped maintain the relaxing atmosphere throughout the 60 minutes. From the way she manipulated the hot towels to the “right”temperature to the way she monitored your reaction to her massage pressure to check your comfort level, all was done so professionally. You truly felt she was personally invested in your positive experience without ever compromising your feeling of relaxation. We HIGHLY recommend the Sanctuary and can’t wait to book our next appointment with Alamanda.

A reprieve for all your senses. ADK foot sanctuary was magic from start to finish. They use high quality essential oils, herbal blends, and salts to detoxify your soles. Their exemplary attention to detail and customer service ensured that every moment of my treatment was as relaxing as possible. They even warmed my socks for me before I put them back on! 10/10 would recommend especially if you work on your feet. Will 100% be going back.

Very relaxing experience. They made sure to ensure we were comfortable, adding pillows behind our backs and head. They served delicious tea that only added to the relaxation experience. As they went along they explained what they were doing and the benefits of each ingredient. Myself and my fiancé still feel a difference in our legs/feet!

My time here was an amazingly personal and intimate experience. Upon entrance to the prepared sanctuary I could feel my stress melting away. Waiting for me was an extremely plush love seat that was raised like a throne. A beautiful copper bowl was filled with perfectly hot water for my barking dawgs. My wonderful message therapist had the perfect aura about herself which truly made my experience grand. I will be returning to Lake Placid's little heaven on earth, The Adirondack Foot Sanctuary <3

*My dawgs are barking* was the service I purchased. It came with a heated and herb infused neck wrap, the hot foot soak with tea herbs, soaking salts, a wonderful foot and leg massage, lemon ginger tea as well as a choice of a heating or cooling gel for the legs and feet. WORTH EVERY PENNY!

I would highly recommend this place to anyone! I went with my fiancé as we were in town for a long weekend and we absolutely loved the experience. We were looking to get a massage and all other spas were booked up so we decided to try the foot sanctuary. Wow! We were amazed by the whole experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room and environment were very relaxing and private. The spa package was very soothing and we felt rejuvenated! I will absolutely be coming back and bringing friends and family to the foot sanctuary.

AMAZING! My family and I had Melissa for foot soak and massages! She was amazing and even shared some tips and tricks for dealing with anxiety and to look at it in a good way not a bad! I got overheated too and she found things to help cool me down! The foot soak was so relaxing and I loved it so much! The massages were awesome and I was so relaxed and rejuvenated afterwords! Totally recommend going!

One of the best foot massage! I absolutely love Melissa! The entire experience was so uplifting, so thankful to find this place and meet Melissa! She was so kind, explained everything so well, gave good tips to follow for later and excellent foot massage! Definitely recommending to all my friends!
