It’s this a barber shop or a rap studio. How does someone ran two business out of one space. I appreciate a black own business. But you can’t have a profession barber shop with high prices. Then drawing my haircut have a film crew come in and work well other smoke and drink marijuana out side. It’s sad to see what look like a profession upscale establish turn into a hang out at night. The owner really needs to get it together and figure out what she wants. Because there now a barber shop across the street with so older gentleman that seem to have it together. I hate discretion are people but I had to

10/10 experience. Throughout the haircut, Mo was meticulous in his work and paid attention to every detail. He made sure to check in with me regularly to ensure that I was happy with the length and style. The end result was a haircut that exceeded my expectations - I left the barbershop feeling brand new.

So I went to Harlem Cutz East for an "afro shaping/Blowout/Hot Towel" but unfortunately got none of the above. My appointment was with Bryan and it seemed like it was his first time cutting hair. I had an appointment with him and had to request he shape up my afro three times and each time he tired to give me a shape up of my hairline. After the third time I described everything he needed to do in detail (I had already detangled my hair, so the hard part was done) but then he just asked how short I wanted. When I gave an estimate, he grabbed a chunk of my hair and just cut it off. He then proceeded to just grab chunks of my hair and cut it off based off the first cut. My hair was then terribly misshapen and I had to do my best to get the parts he missed. I'm really disappointed because I have barbers I usually go-to out in BK and was just hoping to find someone closer by and was so hopeful after all the positive reviews and their site having a dedicated section for afro-shaping. Really disappointed with how this all ended up

Professional place and great atmosphere. Prices are great especially compared to the unreasonable prices everywhere else for kids cuts. Would recommend.

Low key vibe. Barber was excellent. Definitely will be a repeat customer.

Unprofessional. Back in February, I called the salon and made an appointment for 10 AM, February 11th. When I arrived to the shop for my appointment, it was closed. I received a text message 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment stating it was canceled.

Owner is very accommodating and friendly. Barbers are very skilled and take the extra step to give high quality haircuts. All in all wonderful experience

Had a great experience. The atmosphere was comfortable. As a mother to a young boy, I’ve had awful experiences at other barber shops in the past which included inappropriate talk, drinking, loud music and being too crowded. This shop was clean and spacious. The barber immediately greeted us upon our arrival. The seat was thoroughly sanitized in between haircuts. My son also liked that the barber engaged with him throughout the haircut. We will definitely be back!

What I loved most about this barbershop was the staff’s professionalism and hospitality. They were incredibly kind, attentive and punctual. The shop itself is also really cute! I’ll definitely be going back.

The more I go here, the more I love it! I really like that I can book my appointment online which means I'm not waiting around in the shop for a cut. And Jacq is a dope barber with skilled hands. I'm glad I found him.

Harlem Cutz East has a professional and clean environment. Definitely a “laid back and chill” type atmosphere. The barbers are great, I haven’t been disappointed once. Had the experience of testing out a few of the barbers and all them cut well. Check out my barber on IG: GCutta
