Mr. Exquisito Restaurant

This was my second time at this restaurant and had a great experience. I ordered the rib eye steak with rice and fried plantains. I received a big steak and cooked well and with great flavor. The ambience is nice and clean. Good music and excellent service by William who always asked if needed anything or were satisfied. The ceviche as a must have as well. A+

Food is extremely delicious, with such a glamorous presentation! Totally in love with this place. Plus our waitress Catalina was so kind and gave us an excellent customer service!

I had the stuffed lobster, it was HUGE & Tasty!

They do not serve liquor but the fresh juices are delicious! Restaurant is a kind of tight and small, a lot of street parking.

The food is really good, the only good resturant in my opinion. They have a good option of drinks just missing a little bit of alcohol drinks. Overrall it’s a good place to eat! I’d be sad if they changed the chef since they’re good one.

I took my daughter and husband for lunch after seing their ad in instagram. Everything looked delicious and a nice atmosphere. As soon as we walked in, we realized that nothing was as pictured. Small place and only a few tables. Three out of four of the dishes that we wanted to order were unavailable, leaving us with not too many choices. To make a long story short, there's long wait, food was not good at all, churrasco over cooked and hard, white rice under cooked, chicken empanada with an old oil taste, a ridiculous check and to make things worse, in my $303.00 bill for 3 dishes and 3 juices, they had added a $44.00 gratuity that i was not aware of and ended up giving them $50.00 on top of that. I will never go back or recommend this place. Dishes over priced and dishonest waiters.

I really liked this small restaurant, it seems that it is run by people who want to captivate their clientele.

The food was absolutely delicious but the wait time was extremely long after ordering and no one asked after receiving our food if we needed anything else or were satisfied which is customary. I had to get up from the table to ask for my bill because the servers although kind were not attentive.

Great service, food was great, and nice calm atmosphere. Brought my 2 & 6 year old and was family friendly place. Definitely a must try

We’ve been seeing the instagram posts for some time now and finally came, all I can say is WOW! One of the best Spanish meals I’ve had in north Jersey in a long time! Everything was soooo flavorful, the whisking was so amazing, the service was outstanding! Highly recommend!

Saw this advertised all over my social media and decided to give it a try last night. I have mix reviews. The customer service was great. William was very attentive. The atmosphere felt like I was in a local restaurant in DR. They brought the Dominican experience to Bloomfield.

The food on the other hand was in the middle. The presentation was beautiful and the food tasted good. I loved my appetizer (calamari) and the natural juices (passion fruit). But the Surf and Turf was just okay. The promotion on social media hyped it up too much for me. Overall the experience was pretty solid.

Food was great. Loved the presentation and good service. Looking forward to my next meal there.

Cute place, I love smaller establishments, and try to support small business as often as I can. The food here was fresh, and cooked perfectly. The staff were friendly, and I believe it was the owner who came out and stopped by every table to chat with the customers. I had garlic chicken and my date had the salmon. There was so much food, I took half of my chicken home. When we got there around 5 it wasn't too crowded, but by the time we left the place was about 60% full. Definitely going to go back. Check this place out if you're looking for fresh food in a fun and inviting atmosphere.

I'm a Dominican local Bloomfield Resident and I’m fortunate to have good food in my neighborhood. I lived most of my life in New York and I was spoiled with so many good Dominican food in NYC. But, Mr. Exquisito surpassed any Dominican food I’ve had.

I don’t know the owner but if I had to bet, the owner of this restaurant is the chef. I’ve never seen so much love put into Spanish food like this.

No brainer!

The best meal i’ve had in a long time. From appetizers to main dish. The Tres Leches, OH MY GOD! Highly recommended.

The food taste good however, they are a bit pricey we spent $ 200.00 for lunch. And they didn’t have coffee so that’s a no for me. The service was a bit slow the waiter could’ve been more informative about the dishes and their portions.

The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The juices are really fresh and made to order. They take a little longer but well worth the wait. Both of my children absolutely loved them. The place is so clean that you could eat off the floor. We will definitely be back to eat here soon.

Terrible service told me to wait outside because they didnt have space with a empty table that could of easily been cleaned like its not cold outside

Small restaurant with amazing food. Prices were reasonable and the food portions were good. Only downside they don't have different coffee options only espresso and they close at 8: 45pm.
