The food from here is so awful. I just had food delivered, I got a chicharron plate. It's so bad I gagged and threw up. Yuck don't reccomend

It's located in a corner not in the greatest areas of town but, the tasty selection of Dominican caribbean food options well makes up for it. Especially The beef Empanadas and Pork Skins. They're the best in the area! Street Parking is a super challenge. Alternative option is to do Uber Eats or Grub Hub.

Been coming here for years and the food never seems to disappoint, food is always fresh, employees are nice.only negative is the area but if your from the hood you can handle yourself lol

OMG, their breakfast sandwich melts in your mouth! The eggs were perfect, bread hot and light.
I'm having cravings for it and I'm not a "sandwich person".
I'll definitely be there again.

If you enjoy Dominican food you will definitely like Manny’s. It’s legendary in Newark. The food is authentic and prices are reasonable however the area isn’t the safest. Please proceed with caution especially being there’s no parking. The food is definitely 5 star but I didn’t give it a five star because of area.

I'm only giving it 4 stars only because of the waiting time. But the food is great, don't be fooled by its appearance.

Wide variety of choices, if you want a home cooked meal this is the closest youll come. Very generous servings.a friendly staff in a Not So Friendly Hood.

Yellow rice with gondolas was brown and like burned it tasted nasty and their sweet bananas was hard and burned up like their salad looked old I will never order from this place again

ONLY HAD ONE PROBLEM THE SERVICE LADY KEPT TELL THE PRICE OF SOMETHING I ORDERED BUT I NEVER ASKED HER THE PRICE ALL I WAS DOING WAS TRYING TO FOR FILL MY ORDER, SO I JUST THOUGHT THAT WAS REAL RUDE OF HER TO LOOK AT ME AS THOUGH I COULDN'T AFFORD THE FOOD

We walked out from central Chicago to go here. It's quite a walk and totally worth it. I wanted pastrami on rye and my friend wanted the corned beef. The guy cutting the meat asked if we were going to share and I said no then I saw how much meat was being cut and changed the order to half and half, pastrami and corned beef and to share. We added a potato cake, pickle and coffee. There is plenty of seating. The sandwich was delicious, much better than I had imagined. The meat moist and tasty. Best pickle ever, sweet and tart. The coffee, well, why cant we do coffee that good. Very friendly place. It soon started to fill up as the lunch time crowd came in. Go here for a real treat.

One of Newark's many crown jewels as it pertains to eatery. MANNY'S is legendary. I believe it sustained so long because of the amazing food they serve as well as the customer service.

I'm from out of town and anytime I stay at the Newark Airport Hilton, I stop in to grab food. It's always fresh and brings me back to my younger days when my mother cooked. You cannot go wrong with what you order however I get the pork, yellow rice and beans. Awesome.

I would tell people to go eat there it has great food. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Definitely a place to stop in and visit! Cozy little place good service.

Food is delicious! Prices are very reasonable! Customer Service is great! Inside restaurant is clean and neat. Outside neighborhood looks rough, but I mean it’s Newark so‍️

I ordered from this place in August for a birthday. Manuel took my phone call and he was so helpful and even sent me the menu and recommended me about the portions. The food was delicious, portions are huge and they have good prices.

The food is delicious and the service was wonderful. I placed a relatively large catering order. The cost was very reasonable and it was ready on time. Party guests repeatedly commented how great the food was. The staff was also very nice.

I'm a big fan of their food. It's super delicious. I've ordered it and then picked it up so it's ready (very convenient) or just walk in and pick buffet style. Be sure to arrive early, they will run out of Pernil and Chicharrones. This place offers a variety of great options buffet style: arroz con gandules, white rice, yuca, platanos, ribs, fish, guisado, and great empanadas!

From nyc, Visiting a friend and tried to order some food for delivery. They told me they don’t deliver to house, only building. Can someone explain to me why is that, I really don’t understand.

I havent been to Manny's in a few years and went back today to eat lunch with my son. Prices are still pretty reasonable, the only thing about this place is the real bad environment around the restaurant. I really do not dare to go in there by myself. What a shame! Delicious food though.

Manny's is a family oriented restaurant, I've been visiting them for years. They are very friendly the food is always spectacular and the place is always clean.

The food was very tasty and enjoyable. However, they refused to tell me how much my order was after I asked several times. The woman who made my plate, told the man at the cashier, in Spanish, that my food was $12.80. My credit card receipt said $20.00. I still tipped $3.00 but wouldn't recommend anyone going there unless you live there. It's a VERY dangerous block.

Awesome food! The baked beans & cornbread filled up before I could eat my meal. We had the feast for 2.and that was more than enough for the 2 of us.try it!
