Asked for beef stew got pepper steak it's a difference potatoes and carrots duh never again

Buffet type food, 5 or 6 main dishes to choose from, steak and peppers, turkey wings, stewed chicken, that kind of thing, then several rice dishes, and some add-ons, 8-10 tables to eat at.

, food is great the customer service is great but the area definitely needs organization. Very messy, and not very pleasing to the eye. Good for take out but not good enough to dine in.

Food is good. The servers are horrible. Young ladies are always on the phone with headphones in their ears. They also always have attitudes.

The food quality is very good. The food servers are very disrespectful and rude to the guest. Speaking Spanish amongst each other very nasty things they say and I my self speak and understand Spanish 100%. Their personal conversations are more important then serving guess. From the older to young servers have to drop their attitude, people are coming to yall for buisness and attitudes mess up buisness and buisness lose money it's family owned but family will ruin what you worked for. Train them better and 5 star service will not be a problem.

A testament to them; their food is excellent, the place is always crowded with take out/pick up orders. From their cakes to their food, the quality is top notch.

Food is very mediocre. The baked chicken was rubbery and the black beans wasn’t cooked all the way. I definitely will not be eating from here again.

Food is good, a bit pricey but worth it. Hassle to pay via debit or credit. Website doesn't work. Only cash zelle or cashapp. No place to sit. Place is different since I last visited.

Their bbq grill chicken is good paired with rice and beans. I didn't really like the veggies because they taste like canned vegetables. But overall the food is good. No pork!

I feel like the food is over priced for a small amount of food. The pepper steak barely had meat but alot of mushy potatoes. The baked chicken was extremely dry. 2 of the 3 servers had attitudes. I would never come back here. I mean if the service sucks atleast make the food impressionable

Started out really good but now they all about money no flavor.it all down hill from here.and please don't let that sweet BBQ sauce fool your taste bud's

The food was so very delicious. The grilled chicken, if it's not done, it's definitely worth the time to wait for it. Grilled shrimp, Basa and everything else I had. And the desserts are awesome

Their food is always good I only have to different orders that my go 2 baked chicken and Yellow rice and Red beans sweet Plantains. The other 1 is everything the same but I have Turkey Wing with this ones. You get nice and full

Just Went to try this place for the first time and lady at counter was extremely rude continuously yelling “NEXT” as we looked at the food to see what was available. Wasn’t at the counter for more than a minute before she screamed “NEXT” about 5 times. Never going back. They need to work on their customer service. I don’t care how good the food is if you’re rude to your customers than your bottom of the barrow.

First time eating from here, food was fresh and very good also good portion. Will definitely be going back.

IN LOVE! So first I wasn’t even going to order anything, then I asked my cousin who was ordering what she was getting (she ate here before) so then I seen how it looked and wanted the same lol. But yeah, the food was amazing 10/10. I got the bbq chicken with yellow rice & a passion Mango drink (idk if that’s the correct name but that’s what it tastes like) I’m mad I don’t live in jersey:) : (

I've never had a problem with this place even when I order delivery. But today the fried chicken was pink and the rice n beans was luke warm.

Service needs to be improved tremendously. Haven't been to this store in months and I won't be going back.

Beautiful restaurant the food is superb. The Hennessy Honey-BBQ Shrimp is magnificent, the Seafood Stuffed Salmon delicious. I highly recommend this place, the wait staff is friendly and catering. You get that home feeling.

Listen the customer service ain’t A1 but the food…it literally makes you wanna smack ya momma…but I wouldn’t advise.

The lines are ALWAYS long unless you go sometime in the afternoon it’s not that bad but again that customer service

First time visiting. Would have liked to dine in since I drive 45 minutes to try. Had to eat in my car. Other that Service was great! Food was amazing. Will definitely return if they open up dine in. Hated eating in my car about of food was amazing. Thank for the first great experience.

Honestly food is amazing but they could work on there customers service.but if u want good filling food and don’t mind not being greeted at the door or talking to ppl who always seem upset when ordering your food this is the place.

E O where I've lived since 1961. Go & Stay for a "getta way" day. But didn't stay for breakfast tho. That's what Andy's Diner in Orange is for.

Food is good. Service is terrible. They never answer the phone. They charge you for card but have began to take cash app so that’s a plus.

The food is beyond amazing. The customer service is as well. I literally drive from Brooklyn just to get Dominy's food.

Would have gave 4-5 stars if I didn't have to wait almost an hour for food. And they were unorganized. Also gave me wrong size order and drinks.which ended up with me paying more. But since I waited long enough. I just paid the extra. And staff was pretty young. They were already getting screamed at by other customers. I didnt want to add to their stress. I noticed when I got home, they also forgot to add my extra bbq sauce on the side that I paid extra for, which was disappointing. Besides that. Food was really Good. Would come back. Hopefully they will not be as busy next time.

The food is amazing. I tried it for the first time a few days ago and all I can say is absolutely amazing. My friend had it at a gathering and told me to try it and oh my goodness.my mom was impressed as well.ordered it on grubhub

I'm giving 5 stars the food is good, love the grilled shrimp over yellow rice with black beans and some BBQ sauce over it. I'm glad the don't serve PORK. That's all i'm gong to say because the server yeah that's it

This place has always been great. The wait times have changed due to covid-19. The food is still great. Thou food was left out of my bag, when I returned to the restaurant, it was given to me right away.

Horrible Customer Service. Placed an order with them and they forgot to put my food in my bag.
I called them and they didn't remember my order. I spent $45 on 4 plates and only received 3. They told they couldn't do anything to help me. They were rude and hung up the on me. I refuse to spend my hard earned money with restaurant and more.

Very clean and accessible place. They offer big portions and for reasonable prices. We liked the food very much and the staff members were very friendly and explanatory. Recommended.

Last week was our first time we came to that excellent restaurant. But It is obviously not the last. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the attentive service, with the great cuisine and wine and with the comfortable price. We will surely come back soon.

Amazing food with large portions. I had enough food for three people. And you cant beat the prices.

Why Dominy's? The food is authentic Dominican food, and the restaurant is run by Dominicans. They do not serve any pork; so if you are going there for pork, forget about it!
I like the grilled chicken, which I order separately, because I prefer white meat only, and it's never a problem. I have to wait longer for it, but it's so worth it. I always get yellow rice with red and black beans, with the grilled chicken and their home made BBQ sauce. The grilled shrimp is also amazing, according to my husband.
There is a lot to choose from, and Jennie, one of the workers, is really nice.
I go to Dominy's about 6 times a year, sometimes more. But, yeah, if you are looking for authentic Dominican food, try Dominy's.

I would give this a NEGATIVE RATING if I could. I've been going to DOMINY since a coworker told me about the place last summer. Their customer service has been HORRIBLE since the beginning and I've ignored the bad manners. It's a cheap place to get a hot meal; I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. I told myself it was because they can't speak English, but no; they're just MEAN, RUDE people. If the Asian lady at my favorite Chinese restaurant (who barely speaks English) can smile and say thank you, so can they. The last time I was there it was the usual STANK service. They act like they're doing you a favor serving you. The girl "dropped" my change in my hand and didn't say thank you (not the 1st time this happened). I'M JUST DONE! The food's not all that and even if it was I refuse to spend my money where I'm disrespected. I know Dominicans live on the same island as Haitians and discriminate against them. It's either a matter of PREJUDICE (they don't like dark-skinned people) or they are HORRIBLE HUMAN BEINGS. Either way it doesn't matter. I'M NOT SPENDING ONE MORE CENT THERE!

I often take my friends to this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I visit this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The the cooking is delicious and the crew is welcoming and cooperative. Every time we eat in this place we have a lovely evening. I warmly recommend this restaurant.

It's low quality food. Just because it isn't pork doesn't mean it's halal. The flavor is fair but the quality and presentation needs an upgrade especially serving our community.

As I was feeding myself and my toddler food from this establishment I bought the evening of January 2nd 2020, I discovered some extremely hard pieces in my mouth while chewing. I immediately spit out the food to discover a glass pebble in the mixture of chewed food. I called the establishment and the woman, chuckled and told me she doesn't believe there was a piece of glass in my food. I informed her that her reaction was unprofessional and lack of concern for my son, myself, and the public safety will be the reason for me reporting this establishment to the proper authority, she told me to do what I want. Will never eat from here again and I will spread the word. She should be ashamed of herself.

The food and service were beyond my expectations. We truly enjoyed the environment of this spot. Fantastic restaurant to take the family out for lunch.

Great place and even better food but the grilled chicken has to be made from heaven it’s too good topped off with their homemade sauce!

This spot constantly delivers. They serve excellent dishes for fair rates, there are no long waits even when the place is busy.

Extremely bad customer service. Only one woman who was serving the food was polite and kind enough to explain the dishes that were prepared. The other women were annoyed each time I asked a question. If you want to own a business in a predominantly black English speaking community, then it should be a requirement that you understand and speak the language of the people you will be serving.
Also the prices aren’t transparent. If you order the salmon salad, you won’t know the price until it has been prepared.

I was given a waitress that spoke no ENGLISH and instead of giving me and my guest what we ordered. I was given whatever was available. And it so happened to be the MOST EXPENSIVE ITEMS ON THE MENU. How is that for great customer service. But this is where the story should end.the SO-CALLED MANAGER SAID THAT HE WOULD HELP FIX THE MISTAKE. BUT WHEN I CAME TO PAY MY BILL HE DUCKED INTO THE BACK AND NEVER RETURNED. SO I JUST PAYED FOR THE 2 DRINKS AND A FEW DOLLARS FOR A TIP AND LEFT.

Great food! Everything on the menu tastes delicious and the portion size is huge! The most popular dish is their fresh boneless grilled chicken. Plenty of baked, stewed, sauteed, roasted entrees and side dishes. Also, the have great made to order seafood like salmon, tilapia, and shrimp.
